00:00Minority Leader Kelvin Morris is calling for full disclosure from Prime Minister Kamala Passat-Bissasa
00:07with respect to the posting of U.S. military equipment at the A&R Robinson International Airport.
00:14Mr. Morris spoke with TV6 News.
00:18Mr. Morris wants the Prime Minister Kamala Passat-Bissasa to tell the truth.
00:22As of last evening, just this morning again, it is being reported that another U.S. Air Force plane came to Tobago
00:32and perhaps deposited more assets and therefore I am at this point saying to the Prime Minister
00:41that you are indeed lying to the people of Tobago and we are demanding that you tell us the truth.
00:48He said the people of Tobago are being disrespected.
00:51Well, clearly the Prime Minister is being disrespectful to Tobago unions by not informing Tobago unions
01:00as to what is really taking place and she is also being dishonest and I will call it as it is.
01:08If you are to accept the accounts of the Prime Minister, first denying that we have nothing to worry about
01:15and then on being prodded by the media saying to us that, well, yes, the U.S. military is in fact
01:24in Tobago and they are just simply doing some roadworks and when evidence came to hand that it was more
01:32than roadworks, she then had to admit that they are in fact installing a radar system.
01:39He said it begs the question, what else are citizens not being told?
01:45We as Tobago unions, children and Tobago unions, as citizens, we now have to ask the question,
01:51what else is the Prime Minister hiding?
01:54Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
