Yet another shooting in Tobago, this time in Black Rock.


The victim, Michel Holder, 28, of Plaisance Park, Pointe-a-Pierre, was shot in the neck, arm and chest. This latest shooting comes on the heels of other gun-related incidents across the island. More from Elizabeth Williams.

00:00According to police reports, at around 11.45 p.m. on Monday, Mikkel Holder, also known
00:07as Reddo, was walking towards his home at Corlenbush Trace, Blackrock, when a man in
00:12a black hoodie walked up to him, pointed a gun at him, and opened the fire, before making
00:18good his escape.
00:20Holder sustained gunshot wounds to the right neck, right arm, and the left side of his
00:25chest.
00:26First responders, Police Constable Faham Ginnings and Officer Carr of the Interagency Task Force
00:33took the victim to the Scarborough General Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
00:39Police retrieved a number of spent shells from the scene.
00:42Tobago Police are continuing inquiries.
00:45This latest shooting comes on the heels of shooting incidents in Spring Garden Trace,
00:50Scarborough, Wim, where a 14-year-old boy was injured.
