02:30Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago, our international audience
02:33and, of course, our brothers and sisters in Grenada.
02:36This is Beyond the Tape, and I am Whitney Husbands.
02:38We welcome you to yet another great show.
02:40And, of course, to let you all know
02:42that a gentleman who is back again with us this evening,
02:45and I am always happy to have him on this show.
02:48And, of course, he's the man who is always willing
02:50to guide the young people of Trinidad and Tobago
02:52and sometimes even straighten up some of the adults out there.
02:55We have Corporal Derek Shabbity with us this evening.
02:58Once again, good evening to you, sir.
02:59Ms. Husbands, this is your doing.
03:01I understand you're making some calls.
03:03This is your doing.
03:04Have a little wait, then.
03:05But it is my honor.
03:06Listen to me.
03:07You have a fan base.
03:08When I go back to the club, I say,
03:10Sir, who's the lady?
03:12Why is she so serious?
03:13She's our officer.
03:14Sir, just lock people up.
03:16Then, up to now, they say, well, say, you look good.
03:18Yeah, nothing like that.
03:19They want to find out about you.
03:20How come your name is Ms. Husbands?
03:22And if your name is Ms. Husbands,
03:23I just call your husband and say,
03:25I'm going to invite Ms. Husbands home to the club.
03:27Yes, say the word and let's make it happen.
03:29Let us have a nice chat.
03:31Let us meet.
03:32I love to engage with young people.
03:33They want to know what's your rank,
03:34what kind of thing.
03:35Listen to me.
03:37Have no rank.
03:38An invitation will be extended.
03:40You can come to the club and just...
03:41Most definitely.
03:42Yes, yes, yes.
03:43Just have a good time and interact with the young people.
03:45And are people post-budgeted to you and yours?
03:48Yes.
03:48Well, speaking of the budget,
03:49we are seeing for the 2026-2027 budget,
03:54where the allocation is huge
03:56when it comes to national security in Trinidad and Tobago.
03:59And we're seeing that they're very serious
04:01about making sure that the fight against crime continues.
04:05Because, I mean, we cannot eradicate it.
04:08That's right.
04:09We can't stop it.
04:10But we can have some control.
04:11And clearly, we are trying to figure out ways to do that.
04:14And we're seeing the states doing that.
04:15Now, according to the Daily Express,
04:19they stated that Finance Minister,
04:21DaVinci Nhatanku,
04:22has outlined plans to expand
04:24the use of surveillance technology,
04:27strengthening border security,
04:29and increasing staffing
04:30at the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service
04:32as the government continues its crime-fighting program.
04:36Now, Tanku said the government intended
04:38to strengthen the use of technology in policing,
04:41noting that criminal organizations
04:43were increasingly using sophisticated networks
04:46and technology to conceal their activities
04:50and evade detection.
04:52The proposed integrated digital platform,
04:56together with the facial recognition,
04:58automatic license plate recognition,
05:01geo-fencing, and surveillance systems,
05:03would assist law enforcement agencies
05:06in identifying crime hotspots,
05:08linking information across investigations
05:11and tracking suspicious activity.
05:14Corporal, I mean, I am all for this, sir.
05:15It's about time that we spend some money
05:18in that direction because it's needed.
05:19That is a beautiful word.
05:21It is about time.
05:22Yes.
05:22I just came up from Baltimore
05:24and had the benefit of, you know,
05:26meeting the Baltimore Police Department
05:28or in Delaware, technology.
05:30Yes.
05:31Technology.
05:31But it's not cheap.
05:32No, no, but...
05:33It is not cheap.
05:34And that's right,
05:35and that's why maintenance is paramount.
05:36Yes.
05:37And therefore, you have to have the best...
05:38You see, when you're looking at best practice,
05:4021st century police and policemen
05:42cannot be everywhere.
05:43And therefore, technology provides
05:45that extra face, that extra eye.
05:47And it's how you use it
05:48and how you maximize use of it,
05:50and by extension,
05:51you must be able to repair what you bring.
05:53Yes, yes.
05:54You know, you bring something down
05:55and then it's done.
05:56And make sure we're able...
05:57It could be repaired here also.
05:58Train the staff
05:59so we don't have to spend money
06:01to export that,
06:02to fix it,
06:03and then bring it back in.
06:05Technology.
06:05Yes, so we have to make sure
06:06we're on top of it too.
06:07Miss Husband,
06:08if we do not understand,
06:10and you're the same,
06:11the same,
06:12that the criminal element
06:13has up the game.
06:14Yes.
06:15Is he imagining
06:15St. Joseph that camera?
06:17What do you mean?
06:17What do you say?
06:19Surveillance,
06:19they must have surveillance.
06:20Oh, listen to me.
06:21Go on the days
06:22being on the block, you know.
06:24That if you want to be on the block,
06:25you choose to do that.
06:26Thank you very much.
06:27They are making sure
06:28that they're on top of things.
06:29It's just like when you're in the prison.
06:30Yes.
06:31The same way the prison officers
06:32are guarding
06:33and paying attention
06:34to the inmates.
06:35The inmates are paying attention
06:36to the guards
06:37and looking for the weakest link
06:38and see who we could intercept
06:40and who we could break.
06:41So while you're thinking
06:42that they have time, eh?
06:44That's right.
06:45They have nowhere to go.
06:46They have time.
06:47And they're very creative.
06:48But the point is
06:49is that we operate
06:50with intelligence.
06:51We operate inconspicuous.
06:53We operate...
06:53When you're fighting crime,
06:55you need to be on top of your game.
06:56Yeah, we like to talk,
06:57I think, hopefully,
06:58with regard to the TTPS.
07:00You can let me know
07:00if this has changed.
07:02I'm hoping going on the days
07:03where we have to let everybody know
07:05what we're going to do.
07:06This is the plan
07:07and the direction
07:07and the this and the that
07:09and we're going to make sure.
07:10And to me,
07:11they don't need to know that.
07:12Those things,
07:13they don't need to know.
07:14That's right.
07:15They need to see results.
07:17Yeah, I know you want
07:17to be transparent,
07:19but in this,
07:19there's certain things
07:20you do not need to reveal.
07:21That's right.
07:22Not everything you need to reveal.
07:24Ms. Huss-Pons,
07:24you're on top of the game.
07:25We need to put you
07:26with a regiment
07:27and I'm going to give you
07:27cocky come this thing.
07:28Careful, careful, careful.
07:30So, other than that,
07:31we're seeing something
07:32that is very interesting as well,
07:33the Parental Responsibility Act
07:35that is coming.
07:36Powerful.
07:36Tell me your thoughts.
07:38Well, we have been
07:39lobbying for that.
07:39We feel that parents
07:40must be responsible
07:42and must be held accountable.
07:43You cannot have a child
07:45that is a minor
07:46and when a minor
07:47is involved
07:48in criminal activities,
07:50the mother or father
07:50is not there to report,
07:52to give an account,
07:53to explain.
07:55And therefore,
07:56that act ensures
07:57that parents
07:58are held accountable
08:00and answered
08:01to a court
08:02in terms of the child.
08:03It's your child.
08:04They're under the age.
08:05They are not allowed
08:07to vote
08:07and therefore,
08:09they are still,
08:10you know,
08:10they're not adults yet.
08:12Yes, correct.
08:13And if we are calling
08:14ourselves parents,
08:15then we must also
08:16hold them responsible
08:17for our children's behavior.
08:19Now,
08:20I can tell you
08:20I have many cases
08:21where parents
08:22go out,
08:23you know,
08:23go beyond the call of duty,
08:24but get them involved
08:26in a youth club.
08:27Report the decision,
08:28say there's 14-year-old
08:29give us,
08:29let there's an entry
08:31in the diary
08:32to ensure that
08:33your child was one,
08:34was cautioned,
08:35so that you know
08:36that the parents
08:37were doing their due diligence.
08:38I support
08:39that wholeheartedly.
08:40I think it's time
08:41we hold somebody's
08:42delinquent parents
08:43are comfortable.
08:45I'm not even coming
08:47to suggest anything
08:48at all.
08:49But you're a good parent
08:50and you understand.
08:51But I try my best
08:52to be because,
08:53you know,
08:53we didn't really
08:54have a blueprint
08:55other than my blueprints
08:56or my parents.
08:56And they did an excellent job.
08:59I will say that.
09:01But also,
09:02I still see it
09:02as huge shoes to fill
09:04when it comes to my parents.
09:06You know,
09:07with times being different
09:08and how we have to operate
09:10now with them
09:10is a bit different.
09:13And parent,
09:14well,
09:14being a parent,
09:15that is one,
09:16not as a friend.
09:17I don't want to be a friend.
09:18I tell my daughter.
09:19Beautiful.
09:19I'm like,
09:19I'm not your friend.
09:20Beautiful.
09:21I'm not your friend at all.
09:22I am there for you
09:23regardless of what.
09:24Mommy loves you.
09:24Daddy loves you.
09:25Everything.
09:26But I'm not your friend.
09:27Yes,
09:27your friend is your peers.
09:28Not me.
09:29Yeah,
09:29I think we have it skewed.
09:30I think we have it.
09:31We have misinterpreted
09:32with our friend.
09:32Our friend is your own peers.
09:33Yes.
09:34But we can laugh.
09:34We can enjoy.
09:35We can have fun.
09:36You can laugh with me, you know.
09:36But listen to me.
09:37When I say no,
09:38when I open my mouth.
09:39That's right.
09:39Your body language speaks volumes.
09:42When you know?
09:43They call us you
09:45when I twitch on one eye.
09:47I was going to ask you
09:48what's going on with that eye, you know.
09:49Yeah, that's serious.
09:50I mean business.
09:51Something that's in my eye, you know.
09:52This is a stern.
09:55That's all parents have to do a long time.
09:58Body language can do.
10:00Know what you're doing.
10:01Know what you're doing around here.
10:03That's right.
10:03But I'm saying something I don't know
10:05to be honest with regards
10:06to the school study centers,
10:08how it will work.
10:09Because we know what occupies
10:11the time of the children,
10:12which are the devices.
10:14They are consuming themselves,
10:17everything,
10:17their personalities
10:18in these devices.
10:19And my question is,
10:20how is this going to work?
10:21Well, apparently the government
10:23is taking some of my projects.
10:25Hey!
10:26They're probably,
10:26I don't know,
10:26I don't know.
10:27They're listening to us.
10:28They're hearing us
10:29and they're saying,
10:29hey, what our officers are saying
10:30is excellent.
10:31That after school program
10:32is also an international initiative
10:35run by LAPD,
10:37run by police officers all over,
10:39where children come to occupy
10:41the space,
10:42but in our homework settings.
10:43Okay.
10:43So they do the maths,
10:44the English,
10:45the homework,
10:46they do a little reading,
10:47a little penmanship.
10:48And this will be done when?
10:49So many schools or?
10:50Both schools and U-Cup centers.
10:53At a specific time.
10:54That's right.
10:55So you have to look
10:56at the teachers' ability.
10:58You have to look at
10:59if they're using retired teachers.
11:01Who are these people
11:02that will be able
11:03to learn in their service?
11:04But certainly,
11:05at the police school club
11:06we have retirees.
11:07This is pro bono
11:09with regards to the teachers
11:10being present.
11:11Do you know?
11:12No, I think there's a stipend.
11:13All right.
11:13Because I wanted to know
11:14how it works.
11:15Some of these schools
11:15already charge parents
11:17for additional lessons
11:19before school hours.
11:21Yes.
11:21So I know,
11:22I'm trying to see
11:23how it's going to work
11:24with regards to this.
11:26So if this works,
11:26let's see.
11:27Because I was born
11:27thinking about
11:27the teachers
11:28a little stipend.
11:29No, no, I was saying
11:30yes to that,
11:31but, you know,
11:32in some schools
11:32that are not private,
11:34they give additional
11:35lessons,
11:35like an hour before school
11:37officially opens
11:38for the entire school.
11:39You have to pay
11:40additional money
11:41or money
11:42to the said teacher.
11:43And more than that,
11:44there are some parents
11:45who would have
11:46finished work late
11:47and they will feel
11:48a sense of relief
11:49that their children's
11:50time is occupied.
11:51So they can finish
11:52their homework
11:52and get everything done
11:53so they can get rest
11:54when they get home.
11:55It is not easy being
11:55at work and you're
11:56worrying where your child is.
11:58You're telling me?
11:58You know,
11:59when a police officer
11:59call you,
12:00they're not calling you
12:01because they're trying to lock up.
12:02They're calling you
12:02to inform you
12:03that your child is involved
12:04in a home or something.
12:05Something that we don't want
12:07to mention there at all.
12:08Well, we see how things go
12:11because, you know,
12:11the opposition has to step in
12:12and then they will
12:13go back and forth.
12:14That is democracy.
12:15That is democracy.
12:16And we have to allow
12:18to hear what the opposition
12:19is saying.
12:19You know,
12:20and then at the end
12:21of the day,
12:21it's all for the betterment
12:22of this country.
12:23Yeah, so let's see
12:25how things go.
12:25But the fight on crime
12:27continues.
12:28Now, speaking of that,
12:29now, earlier today,
12:30an alleged police confrontation
12:33in the Coover area
12:34after a home invasion,
12:35two persons were shot
12:36and succumbed
12:37to their injuries.
12:39Three other persons
12:40were detained
12:41along with the recovery
12:42of all the stolen items
12:45and two loaded firearms
12:47were seized.
12:48A job well done
12:49by the officers.
12:50You see they're moving quickly.
12:52Response time
12:53is one that is very important.
12:56And to me,
12:56I think the persons is clear
12:58who called on the police
13:01to show up,
13:03you need to do that
13:04down recording.
13:06Because that's how
13:06we can get the officers
13:07there as quickly as possible.
13:09That's right.
13:10And again,
13:11communication.
13:12Yes.
13:13The response time
13:13is also paramount
13:14because you could call
13:15and get a late response.
13:16Yes.
13:17And the commissioners
13:18on record
13:18indicating that
13:20the response time
13:21must be...
13:21Yes, quick.
13:22Yeah, and people
13:23should...
13:23And you'll hear people
13:24saying that.
13:25When I called the police,
13:27within a few seconds
13:28they came
13:28and I was impressed.
13:29Yes.
13:30You know,
13:30and I want to commend
13:31the police officers.
13:32This is amazing,
13:33when criminals come,
13:34all phone off.
13:35When one police reach,
13:36everybody have on the phone.
13:37Yes, yeah, yeah.
13:38You know,
13:38they're all over begging
13:39for policemen to wear
13:40the camera.
13:42But I say we don't need to
13:42because by the time
13:43you reach halfway,
13:45everybody have the cameras on.
13:46No, they need it.
13:47Yeah.
13:47The officers need it.
13:49No, I'm saying, right?
13:49Oh, yeah, no, no.
13:50But they still need it
13:51to protect themselves.
13:52Of course.
13:52Because remember,
13:53it's the officers' word
13:54against the public.
13:55Yes.
13:55That's how it goes.
13:56Yes, yeah.
13:57So until we see
13:58and we are clear
13:58on where it all began
14:00and where it ends,
14:01we wouldn't have
14:02that murky center
14:04that we usually land at.
14:06The deputy commissioner,
14:07Mr. Benjamin,
14:09was on record saying,
14:11one, A,
14:12that most stated yet
14:13cameras will be afforded.
14:15Two, he also indicated
14:17that the cameras
14:18that will be assigned
14:19to police
14:19is that there will be
14:20a central area
14:21where they can put on
14:22the camera
14:23and inquire from the officer
14:24why you have this off.
14:25Yes.
14:26So they will show
14:26when it's off
14:27if you switch it off.
14:28That's right.
14:28If the officer
14:29is pursuing somebody,
14:30it will be gripping
14:31because some of the cameras
14:33are inferior.
14:33It falls in it.
14:34Well, I tried it
14:35on the show already
14:35and that one was terrible.
14:37Thank you very much.
14:38It was a terrible batch.
14:39I'm not going to lie.
14:40Now, there was an RTA
14:41that was caught on camera
14:42and this is why
14:43we continuously tell
14:44the drivers
14:45and all these are
14:46high-end vehicles,
14:48a brand new vehicles.
14:50The one that hurt my big toe.
14:52You see that Porsche
14:53that we pulling up, yeah?
14:54Yes.
14:54Listen, you all have
14:55to take your time.
14:56This was at the M2 Ring Road
14:59heading west to Woodland
15:02and this is crazy.
15:04Yes, I am not from...
15:05All those cars are at North
15:06and all in them.
15:07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:08And it tells you speed.
15:09Look at it.
15:10It tells you speed.
15:11Yeah, that is definitely speed.
15:12Yes.
15:13That is definitely speed.
15:14Look at the amount of parts
15:16that are out.
15:17Look at the new model sportage.
15:18Yes.
15:19I stand corrected.
15:20Look at the car above.
15:21So, first of all,
15:22that is like about
15:22over a million dollars
15:24on the road that was damaged.
15:26Let's start there.
15:28Thank God for life
15:29and I'm seeing
15:30that the new life was lost
15:31and I'm seriously injured.
15:33Yeah, but we really, really
15:34had to take it down on the road.
15:37Wow.
15:37You better you're it safe
15:38than you're rich.
15:39All the ease.
15:40Yes.
15:41All the ease.
15:42All the ease.
15:42Take your time, y'all.
15:44Please.
15:45Apart from the inconvenience,
15:47this is just unnecessary.
15:50Sometimes we have to just pull back
15:51if somebody wants to get in
15:53and in the line
15:54and yes, you don't want them to pass.
15:55I mean, I'm guilty of that sometimes.
15:57I just have to remember,
15:58oh gosh, just slow down.
15:59Let the person pass.
16:00Sometimes I feel like
16:01put on a big drive
16:01when they didn't
16:02because you slow down.
16:04Just leave it.
16:04Let them go their way
16:06and try your best
16:07to drive for everybody
16:08because that's the best thing.
16:09My view
16:10and it's my personal view,
16:12a driver is a reflection
16:14of who you are.
16:14So, this cutters,
16:15your road,
16:16you can imagine
16:17that kind of person
16:18in a car.
16:18Yes.
16:19You know, he has no care.
16:20He's not courteous.
16:21So, it's a reflection
16:22of the individual.
16:23You're a courteous person.
16:25I mean, sometimes
16:25you can't give it
16:26because you're also courteous
16:28and sometimes
16:28you'll give it
16:29from time to time.
16:30What are you?
16:31Women drivers
16:31are the best in the app.
16:33So, I don't know.
16:34I know you're saying
16:37that because you have
16:37a love for us out there
16:39but I'm not going to lie.
16:40Some of us,
16:40a lot of mercy.
16:41No blind.
16:42Oh Lord.
16:43They charge
16:43and watch not.
16:45Because most of the times
16:46they're saying,
16:46all you feel like I can't drive.
16:48But watch this.
16:49Zero blind.
16:50Oh man, my own Lord.
16:52Sometimes you extend
16:53to the city
16:53to them that email
16:54proper.
16:55I get it too.
16:56So, I totally understand.
16:58Now, again,
16:59the TBS continues
17:00to work hard
17:01because we're seeing
17:02according to their media release
17:03a penal man charged
17:04with home invasion
17:05granted $75,000 bail.
17:08Now, a 29-year-old penal man
17:10charged with one count
17:12of home invasion
17:13was granted bail
17:14in the sum of $75,000
17:16when he appeared
17:17before a superior master's court
17:20on Monday, 12 October, 2026.
17:23Now, the accused,
17:24Peter Marshall
17:25of Penal Rock Road
17:27was not called upon
17:28to plead to the charge.
17:30As part of his bail conditions,
17:32he is required
17:33to reside at his current address,
17:35remain at least 50 feet away
17:38from the virtual complainant,
17:40and report to the Penal Police Station
17:42three days per week
17:43and the matter was adjourned
17:46to November 30, 2026.
17:48The charge stemmed from an incident
17:50which occurred around 1 a.m.
17:53on Tuesday, October 6, 2026
17:55at a residence along
17:56Penal Rock Road, Penal.
17:58Now, the virtual complainant
18:00reported that she had secured
18:01her home and retired to bed
18:03when she was awakened
18:04by a noise.
18:05Upon opening her eyes,
18:07she observed a man
18:08whom she recognized
18:10standing over her
18:11in her bedroom,
18:12armed with a cutlass.
18:14Jesus Christ.
18:14The woman raised an alarm
18:16causing the suspect
18:17to flee through a back door
18:19on the northern side
18:20of the premises.
18:21Now, following further inquiries
18:23and instructions
18:23from a woman,
18:25Superintendent Bridgelal,
18:26Marshall was charged
18:27with one count
18:28of home invasion.
18:30You can't have attempted assault
18:31because he had a cutlass?
18:33Well, it is up to
18:35the police officer
18:36to look at the matter
18:39and see what other charges
18:40and sometimes the officer
18:42might even receive counsel
18:44from the inspector
18:45or senior officer.
18:46No charging for this
18:47or charging for that
18:47because you have to look
18:49at the ingredients
18:50in order to establish
18:51an offense was committed.
18:52Yes.
18:53So I think that, yes,
18:54they could certainly
18:55look at other offenses.
18:56Yes, I find so.
18:57What about breaking
18:58and entering?
18:59Well, that would be
19:00under the home invasion.
19:01That's right.
19:01But I think most of the assault
19:02is one because the person,
19:04what are you doing
19:04with a cutlass?
19:05Well, the fact that
19:07you apply fear
19:08that a psychological assault
19:10and then you search them.
19:11You can find other charges
19:11that could be laid
19:12against prosecution
19:13could guide them accordingly.
19:15I think the officer
19:16in question need to
19:18look and see
19:18what other areas
19:19they can make them
19:20an example.
19:21I totally agree.
19:22Now, more from the CTPS.
19:23Now, a minor among four
19:25held after sneaking
19:26onto compound.
19:28Corporal, I know
19:28you would not like this.
19:2918-8 boy was among
19:30four people held
19:31after a group
19:32scaled a wall
19:33and snuck onto
19:34a private compound
19:35around 2.20 a.m.
19:37on October 13, 2026.
19:39Officers assigned
19:40to the Bar Tarrier,
19:41CID,
19:42and the Northeastern
19:43Division Task Force
19:44responded to a report
19:45of men on a compound
19:47along 12th Street,
19:48Bar Tarrier.
19:49Officers received
19:49information that
19:50three men had exited
19:52a Nissan B-14 vehicle
19:54and scaled the wall
19:55to the premises
19:56as the car continued
19:57to circle the area.
19:58Upon arrival
19:59at the compound,
20:00the officers checked
20:01the premises
20:01which contained
20:02two-story
20:04unfurnished
20:04concrete building.
20:05While searching
20:06the building,
20:07officers found
20:08three people
20:09ages 16, 29,
20:11and 45
20:12hiding inside.
20:14None of the men
20:15could explain
20:15their presence
20:16in the building.
20:17The officers then
20:18intercepted the vehicle
20:19nearby,
20:20being driven
20:21by a 37-year-old man.
20:23The suspects
20:24all or suspects
20:25all from San Juan
20:27were detained
20:28as an investigation
20:30into the incident
20:31continues.
20:32Excellent work.
20:33After 20 morning,
20:34what are you doing out?
20:34Excellent work, yes.
20:35What are you doing out?
20:36Yes, yes.
20:37And I'm happy
20:39that you set a group
20:40which means
20:41there were influencers
20:42and the influenza minor.
20:44But that was
20:44excellent work.
20:45And therefore,
20:46that 14-year-old
20:48parent
20:48need to explain
20:50how come your child
20:51is not accounted for,
20:52how come your child
20:53is not at home?
20:54How come your child
20:54is not on New York here?
20:55This is madness.
20:57Even 14, 16,
20:58first of all,
20:58what are you doing out?
20:59And then,
21:00this hardback man,
21:0145?
21:02Yes.
21:03Really?
21:04That means he's 16-year-old
21:05is very comfortable
21:06with you.
21:07That's not the first time.
21:08Yeah, what you see it to do.
21:09That's right.
21:09All right, so,
21:10right now it's time
21:11for us to take a look
21:12at what's making
21:12today's headlines.
21:48And those are your stories
21:50making today's headlines.
21:51Remember,
21:51you can give us a call
21:52at 623-1711,
21:55extension 1996
21:56or 1997.
21:57We take that break.
21:58We'll be back.
22:00As a teacher
22:01teaching how much years
22:03I never see
22:05if I have a subject
22:06called bullying
22:07on a timetable yet.
22:08But all them children
22:10want to beat up
22:11other children
22:12instead of beating
22:13their book.
22:15And to me,
22:16that is big,
22:17big failure.
22:17I promise
22:19to do my part
22:20to stop the bullying
22:22in the people
22:23at them school.
22:24But you see parents,
22:26you see uncles,
22:27you see grannies,
22:29you see aunties,
22:29you see nenens,
22:30all of them,
22:31and all of you.
22:32All you have to help out too.
22:34All you have to teach them
22:35the right way, boy.
22:37They have to choose peace,
22:39not physical
22:40and verbal violence.
22:43Teach them
22:43to be a body,
22:46not a bully.
22:47Tell somebody.
22:56Can you see the pain?
22:58The twisted metal
22:58highlighting the uncertainty
23:00of collision car damage.

25:14He's in for ASP, Russell,
25:16and it's always a favorite
25:17to have you here with us.
25:18Now, speaking of favorites,
25:20I don't want to mean
25:20like you're just specifically
25:22pinpointing certain persons
25:23in the TTPS,
25:24but we have to congratulate
25:25some members
25:26because on October 7th,
25:27the TTPS hosted
25:28a graduation ceremony
25:30celebrating
25:30the successful completion
25:32of three fully accredited
25:34advanced level diploma programs.
25:37And this is what happened.
25:40Today is a good day
25:42for Trinidad and Domingo Police Service.
25:44This day belongs to you.
25:46Congratulations.
25:47Remember why your organization
25:49invested in you.
25:50I respectfully submit
25:51the prosecution rests its case.
25:54Can you say it's never too late
25:55to change?
25:58It's never too late to learn.
26:01And it's never too late
26:02to make a difference.
26:06Understand that leadership
26:09is your next classroom.
26:13We need you to turn
26:15your qualification
26:16into application
26:17as you go out there
26:18to serve the public.
26:22Go out there
26:23and let's make a difference
26:25to our communities,
26:28to the public,
26:29so that they can really see
26:31that we are really
26:31making a difference.
26:33To all of today's graduates,
26:36you should be proud.
26:38Your families
26:40should be proud.
26:41The police service
26:43is indeed proud of you.
26:47The police academy
26:49speaks about excellence
26:50in law enforcement,
26:52education and training.
26:53But excellence
26:55cannot remain
26:56words on paper.
26:58The public
26:59must be able
27:00to see it.
27:01They must see it
27:02at the crime scene.
27:04They must see it
27:05in the station.
27:06They must see it
27:07in the quality
27:08of the investigation.
27:10They must see it
27:11in the courtroom.
27:13And importantly,
27:14they must see it
27:15in the way
27:15police officers
27:16treat ordinary people.
27:21The investigation
27:23of serious crimes
27:24program
27:24was developed
27:25out of a need
27:26to improve
27:27detection
27:28and investigative
27:29performance.
27:32Your diploma
27:33tells us
27:33what you completed,
27:36what your performance
27:37will tell us,
27:38what you learned.
27:44The statistics
27:45tell us
27:47that progress
27:48is being made.
27:51But progress
27:52is not victory.
27:54There are more crimes
27:55to prevent,
27:56more cases to solve,
27:58and more victims
27:59to support.
28:01More offenders
28:02to bring to justice,
28:04and more public
28:06trust to earn.
28:09So when you leave here,
28:11you get to work,
28:13serve with competence,
28:15serve with courage,
28:17serve with integrity,
28:18and use what you have learned
28:20to make
28:20Trader Island and Tobago
28:21safer.
28:23Congratulations
28:23to every graduate.
28:25May God bless
28:26each of you.
28:28May God bless
28:29the Trader Island
28:29and Tobago
28:29police service.
28:31and may God
28:32continue to bless
28:33or be loved
28:34to the public
28:34of Trader Island
28:35today.
28:39Congratulations once again.
28:40We see a lot of proud faces
28:41there.
28:42Big smiles,
28:43a lot of teeth,
28:44and you can see
28:44the passion is there.
28:45And congratulations
28:46once again.
28:47I would like to piggyback
28:49on DCP Benjamin
28:52turning qualifications
28:54into application.
28:56And then they're reminded
28:57by the Commissioner
28:58of Police
28:58in terms of,
28:59okay,
28:59you received a certificate,
29:01excellence
29:02must now be seen
29:03by men's
29:04of the public
29:04and it will be applauded.
29:06So you're upgrading,
29:07you're developing,
29:09it's a step
29:09in the right direction,
29:10but who are the
29:10beneficiaries of that?
29:11Members of the public.
29:13The police are very
29:14impressed with the officers
29:16because we are doing
29:17a service to them
29:18and the recipients
29:19of the service
29:20must come up
29:21and highlight the service
29:22so that the Commissioner
29:24is quite poised
29:25in terms of reminding
29:26the officers
29:26that we have a duty
29:28to serve with pride
29:29but at the same time
29:30with also a level
29:32of excellence.
29:32Yes, that is.
29:33And congratulations
29:33to all my colleagues
29:34and it is certainly
29:36a step in the right direction.

32:40For the investigations that matter most to TNT,
32:43turn to the team you trust.
32:45The TV6 News.
32:46We do the work to uncover the facts,
32:48ask the important questions,
32:49and report on the issues that impact your community and the nation at large.
32:53This is more than just news.
32:55It's accountability,
32:56the undisputed number one program in Trinidad and Tobago,
32:59delivering the hard-hitting investigations you rely on.
33:02The TV6 News,
33:04revealing facts,
33:05provoking opinions.
33:21And welcome back.
33:22Now,
33:22I don't know if you all recall,
33:24including yourself,
33:25Corporal,
33:26where the cattle was trending on social media,
33:29where in the Karani area,
33:31we saw this incident that took place,
33:33and we saw the damage that it caused to the driver's vehicle,
33:36and we're not sure if the cattle are alive,
33:39if they're injured,
33:39or what the case is.
33:40And remember,
33:41when we spoke,
33:42we said,
33:42where does the law step in?
33:44So,
33:45Corporal,
33:45where does the law step in?
33:46Yes,
33:47and I got counsel from TNT law,
33:52Mrs. Archie,
33:54Mrs. Archie was kind enough to provide me with the act.
33:58And let me tell you something,
33:58here we go way back as the 7th of March,
34:011875.
34:02Wow.
34:03All the way back.
34:03But it only looks at recklessness,
34:06where the animals are seized,
34:09and then you pay for it to be released.
34:11Okay.
34:11But then the act was amended in 1997
34:14to address the question of looking at recklessness
34:18and the seriousness behind people who own cattle.
34:22However,
34:24the portion that I want to read is the question of
34:27that the person can bring civil claim
34:29under the common law,
34:30usually in negligence.
34:32They would have to show that the owner failed,
34:35and the same thing you were saying,
34:36failed to take responsible care
34:38to keep the animal contained.
34:40For crop land,
34:42there are also an older common law
34:45that speaks of cattle.
34:46So there has to be some amendment,
34:48but the civil court will address your grievance.
34:50The compensation.
34:51Yes.
34:52So this is law that has to be updated.
34:54That's the 7th of March, 1875.
34:57It wasn't even a thought.
34:58We go way back.
34:59But it was amended in 1997.
35:01Yeah,
35:02because then cattle was the form of transportation.
35:04That's right.
35:05So that is why it was there
35:06to make sure that persons understand the law.
35:09But where we are now in 2026...
35:12You have to amend that.
35:13We have a lot of amendments.
35:14Yes.
35:14They can have cows and things running around
35:16and doing damage to the expensive vehicle.
35:19They need to be all comfortable.
35:20Now, just a reminder,
35:22you can give us a call
35:22at 63-17-11 extension 1996-1997.
35:27Now, Corporal,
35:28let's talk about
35:31an engagement
35:32that you had.
35:33And I understand
35:34it took place
35:36at the Carrera Convict Prison.
35:39CCP.
35:40CCP.
35:40Yes.
35:41All right.
35:41What took place there?
35:42First of all,
35:43I must commend Commissioner
35:44of President Scanderberry.
35:47Deputy Commissioner of Police,
35:48Das,
35:49Officer Steele,
35:50Ms. Agard,
35:51the Superintendent Nairon
35:53that's called him Fussy.
35:54Why Fussy?
35:55Is he a Fussy guy?
35:56I think he is.
35:57He complains a lot?
35:59He was very kind to me,
36:00so I don't know.
36:01So you get a nickname like Fussy?
36:03You know,
36:03I never ask him,
36:04but I promise
36:04I'll have a discussion on that.
36:07Carrera Island is,
36:08listen to me,
36:09it's well taken care of.
36:11We got a beautiful tour
36:12with the CCP does
36:13and the spy team.
36:15And we had a nice retreat
36:17and then we had a little cricket.
36:19The prison officers,
36:19the prisoners came out.
36:21We also viewed
36:22some absolutely beautiful painting.
36:24Yes.
36:24So it tells you that
36:26those who are painting,
36:27those who are well behaved,
36:28they get a little bit of incentive.
36:31And you can understand
36:31Carrera is surrounded by water,
36:33so there's fishing going on.
36:35And the prisoners are given,
36:37you're behaving?
36:38Yes.
36:39This is an incentive.
36:40So there's a reward
36:41for good behavior.
36:41But they also maintain
36:42the said prison.
36:44Yes.
36:45The inmates.
36:45Yes,
36:45separate and apart from,
36:46you know,
36:47whoever they have coming
36:49via the government.
36:51But I really want to
36:52commend the CP does.
36:53Yes.
36:54The Commissioner of Prisons
36:55and for those who
36:56really took care of us.
36:57Listen to me,
36:58Carrera is a beautiful,
37:00if you want to find
37:01your center
37:01and you want to find
37:03your peace,
37:03oh Lord.
37:04No,
37:05you need to go there.
37:06But you can't just pull up.
37:07No,
37:08no.
37:08So let's make sure
37:10it's very clear.
37:10You have to seek permission.
37:11Yeah,
37:12you can't just pull up.
37:13You have to dot your I
37:14and cross your T's.
37:15The Commissioner of Prisons
37:16must give you permission.
37:18And of course,
37:19there are areas
37:19that you would not
37:20be able to venture
37:22because of certain
37:23high profile that ride.
37:25But the boat ride
37:27was beautiful.
37:28Very,
37:29you could sit at these
37:30and they know
37:30what they're doing.
37:31Yes.
37:31You know,
37:32you're well cared for,
37:33you're well taken.
37:34And by extension,
37:35I think that
37:35little things like this,
37:37you need to applaud
37:38the prisons
37:39because you have
37:39all prison officers
37:40doing this,
37:40but there are
37:41prison officers
37:42doing good work.
37:43Yes.
37:43Working hard,
37:45transforming prisoners,
37:47you know,
37:47being a father to them,
37:48those things,
37:49you don't sit
37:49on the front page
37:50and they must be
37:51commended
37:52for the absolute
37:53work that's
37:53catalyzed,
37:55you know,
37:55food,
37:55there's chicken,
37:56famine.
37:57Listen to me.
37:59You had a good time.
38:00Well,
38:01I want to go.
38:02And Mr. Das,
38:03we could work
38:04something out.
38:04Another invitation,
38:05another invitation
38:06is needed.
38:07You don't know,
38:07but a job well done
38:08to the prison officers
38:09and also the inmates
38:10who are trying
38:10to transform their life.
38:12I know many persons
38:14many years ago
38:15because I dabbled
38:16a little bit
38:16in criminal justice.
38:18I stopped doing.
38:18But I know
38:19restorative justice
38:21was a thing
38:21that persons
38:22didn't want to hear about,
38:23especially in Trinidad
38:25and Tobago.
38:26And now all of a sudden
38:27everybody is restorative justice,
38:28restorative justice.
38:30But it has been there
38:31implemented by many people
38:33right here.
38:34Including your dad.
38:34Yes.
38:35Mr. Husbands,
38:36I want to salute him
38:36if he's listening.
38:37Mr. Husbands,
38:38you are your champion,
38:40I want to salute you for that.
38:42And, you know,
38:43your name goes beyond me,
38:44or your daughter
38:44carries your name,
38:45so she needs a,
38:47you know,
38:47your dad has done justice,
38:48right?
38:48Yes, of course,
38:49of course.
38:49He's a humble man.
38:51He doesn't like
38:51the praises at all,
38:53so I know he's cringing right now.
38:54But either way,
38:55it is one way
38:56it's very important
38:57nonetheless
38:57where we understand
38:58because when we have inmates
39:00who have been locked up,
39:02yes, they have to save their time,
39:03which is very important
39:05because those are the consequences
39:07that you'll be faced with
39:08when you commit criminal acts.
39:10That's right.
39:11But when you serve your time,
39:12you don't want any inmate to leave.
39:16When they leave
39:16or the enters an inmate,
39:18they're not leaving as an inmate.
39:19They save their time.
39:20They pay it back to society.
39:21But the mind,
39:23is it restored?
39:24Beautiful.
39:25So when they come into
39:26the public,
39:28you don't want to deal with
39:29a person
39:30where they're now
39:31going back into
39:33the same system once again
39:34because they're lost
39:35in no direction.
39:37And it's one of the days
39:38where you still get a bus ticket
39:39and how much money
39:41just to get you something
39:42to eat or to reach your destination
39:44or a tissue
39:45and a pants
39:46that you're living in.
39:48We have to find ways
39:49where they're able
39:51to enter back
39:53into society
39:54because we don't know
39:55who is who.
39:56And who will benefit
39:57from that?
39:57Society will benefit.
39:59When we ensure
40:00that the restoration component
40:02is placed
40:03where the family
40:04and the family
40:04embrace them
40:05because it's a father
40:07who probably made an error,
40:08it's a mother
40:08who made an error
40:09and therefore you can't
40:10hold them accountable.
40:11They have done their part,
40:13they have apologized
40:13and they have followed
40:15to move on.
40:15But I will say
40:16this is not just
40:17alone within
40:17the prisons
40:19where restorative justice
40:20has to work
40:20but it must also work
40:22in society
40:22because we also
40:23as citizens
40:24have to be able
40:25to also take in
40:27the same persons
40:28who are leaving
40:29their inmates,
40:30serving their time,
40:31restore their lives
40:32back into society
40:33so they could be part
40:34of the fabric
40:35of society.
40:36You don't want
40:37to be among
40:37individuals
40:38who you're unable
40:39to, you know,
40:41it's trust.
40:42Trust is a really,
40:44yeah, to trust
40:44anybody in general
40:45even if you save time
40:46or not
40:46is something difficult
40:47for many people.
40:48But when it comes
40:50to bringing them
40:50back into society
40:51and allowing them
40:52to get a job,
40:54trusting them
40:55that they will be able
40:56to do as they should
40:58and not think,
40:59oh, he or she
41:00is an ex-inmate
41:01she might steal
41:02or she might want
41:02to rob
41:03or she might want
41:03to stop.
41:04We also have to
41:05restore our minds
41:06when it comes
41:06to persons
41:07entering back
41:08after giving back
41:09their time
41:10to society
41:10from what they
41:11have done
41:11in the past
41:12so we can't
41:13judge moving forward
41:14but it's also
41:15us restoring
41:16our minds as well.
41:17Ms. Husband,
41:17it appears that
41:18you only bother
41:19directors with the prisons.
41:20No, they do good work
41:22and you see what
41:22you're saying there?
41:23The restorative part,
41:24bringing family back,
41:25bringing loved ones back,
41:27rekingling them,
41:28you know,
41:28it's quietly done.
41:29Yes.
41:30No fanfare,
41:31no media.
41:32That's why I have to
41:32salute the commission
41:33of prisons,
41:34the CP does
41:35and the team players
41:36because they know
41:37that after that person
41:39would have come,
41:39they would have shared
41:40with them,
41:40there would be empathy,
41:41there would be a connect
41:42and therefore it is
41:44absolute imperative
41:45that when I have
41:46served my time,
41:48Yes.
41:50There has to be
41:50served my time
41:52also when I enter
41:53into the free world.
41:54Just for today alone,
41:55just we want you all
41:56to know you could call
41:57299-0047 extension
42:001996 or 1997.
42:02Just for today alone.
42:05All right?
42:05So as we were discussing,
42:07you know,
42:07it is something that
42:08many persons shy away from
42:09and I'm also mentioning
42:11also to the prison officers
42:13as well
42:14because we have
42:15great prison officers
42:16who are willing to work
42:17and work along
42:18with the inmates
42:19but those also
42:20who are in the prison service
42:22needs to reform
42:23your mind as well
42:24because the way
42:25in which you deal
42:26with the inmates
42:26is also important.
42:28I'm not saying
42:28you have to give them
42:29a service like you
42:30in a five-star hotel
42:31but the way
42:33in which you treat
42:33the individuals,
42:35they are there
42:35to serve their time.
42:36You don't have to treat them.
42:38It's a human element.
42:39And we saw
42:40where the courts
42:43also allowed a family
42:45to receive compensation
42:47because in humane situations
42:49in which they were
42:50dealt with in any prison,
42:51they can't take
42:52any state funds
42:53when we already
42:53don't have money
42:54to give to individuals.
42:56You all are trained.
42:57That's right.
42:57And that is case
42:57so now also
42:58therefore it's absolutely
42:59imperative
43:00that you create
43:00an environment
43:02that is conducive.
43:02Even though the man
43:03is locked up,
43:04what the court is saying
43:05is that make sure
43:06it is conducive.
43:07Yes.
43:07Make sure it's healthy.
43:08Make sure it is
43:09a human being there.
43:11And we also have a few,
43:13not a lot,
43:14but innocent people
43:15who are there as well.
43:16We have a call on
43:17Whole Caller.
43:17Good evening.
43:19Hi, good evening.
43:20Hi, good evening.
43:21I want to make
43:22a couple comments.
43:24Comment number one,
43:27because that was
43:28destroyed in the accident,
43:31cars have built
43:32to fall apart
43:33when they crash.
43:34Looking at the crash,
43:36you're not sure
43:36what speed
43:37they were going at
43:37or let it charge
43:38in his body damage.
43:43It's not really,
43:44that is what happens
43:45to protect the passengers
43:46on your side.
43:48It's called a comfort zone
43:49and it destroys
43:50itself so the people
43:51inside the car
43:52and walk out
43:53and be safe.
43:55And everybody
43:56still come by the car
43:57and say they come out
43:58and walk out safe.
44:01The first thing.
44:02The second thing
44:02is we're talking
44:05about parents
44:06and parenting
44:07and so on,
44:08but nobody teaches
44:09our parents
44:09how to be a parent
44:10and we need
44:12to get parenting
44:13programs in schools.
44:16Not for the adults
44:18but for the children
44:19to learn how to be a parent
44:20because I have seen
44:22parents tell children
44:24to do things
44:24which are illegal.
44:26I wouldn't repeat
44:27some of them
44:28on air
44:29because it is ridiculous
44:31what they tell their children
44:32especially the children
44:33they tell them
44:34and because they don't know
44:36that's how they were brought up
44:38and they feel
44:38that they were supposed
44:39to bring up their children.
44:42It's ready
44:43to get in school
44:45and teach children
44:47how to be proper parents.
44:50And the first thing
44:50is the animals
44:53that kill the car
44:56when I was growing up
44:57that is a common thing
44:59and they started
45:00putting on
45:03friends
45:04in certain areas
45:05to wear animals clothes
45:06in the way
45:07animals clothes
45:07in.
45:08When I was growing up
45:09there
45:09there are two friends
45:11that I know of
45:12I think they are more
45:13but there are two friends
45:14that I know of
45:14and I think that my family
45:16I threw down
45:17significant causes
45:18because I know
45:19the cows have no interest
45:20in what you drink
45:21they see grass
45:22and they want to go and eat
45:23so that's the baby
45:24so do that.
45:30Yeah.
45:31Alright that's it.
45:32I know that
45:33I know that's a problem
45:34and we need to
45:35ensure that
45:36those signs of
45:37those are to succeed
45:38because in other countries
45:39they have the same signs
45:40too.
45:41for days
45:42and bears
45:43and bears
45:43and if you cross
45:44and take the animal
45:45you get that.
45:46yes
45:48alright thank you
45:49thank you so much
45:50greatly appreciated

48:53this evening.
48:54And just so you know, we will have Khadija Khan and Kelly McFarlane will be joining our attorney at law
49:00and director, Mr. Ali.
49:02So make sure you're on tune in at 8.30 this evening.
49:05We head back to the phone lines. We have a caller. Caller, good evening.
49:10Good evening, Mr. Shabali.
49:13Blessings to you, sir.
49:16Mr. Shabali.
49:17Yes, sir.
49:19Have you recognized this voice?
49:22The voice sounds familiar. I'll give you a ticket already.
49:25This is your customer service, leader from Tobago.
49:29Customer service.
49:31Hey! The goodly sergeant, man. How are you going, sir?
49:35I am calling you to tell you that you are doing an excellent job flying the TTP at Flagon to
49:41continue the good work.
49:44Blessings to you in your voice, man.
49:46Well, I am just taking in the program. Just got in from outside and taking in the program.
49:52Go to see you for a long time. You must try and see you get back your passport for Tobago
49:57and come and give us a visit.
50:01No, Mr. Shabali. You must try and see you get back your passport for Tobago and come and give us
50:07a visit.
50:08Please, please. But external invitation, you know, external invitation, I will make myself available.
50:18But it's an honor, man.
50:21Right, and you give my regards to the family, man.
50:24Please.
50:26Yeah, and there's an honor getting your voice, man.
50:28Blessings.
50:30All right, I think he's gone.
50:32Now, Corporal, let's respond quickly to the caller before we went to the break where he said,
50:37who is going to be teaching the parents of the parents last year before we head into the cattle?
50:41Well, I have had the benefit of speaking to the National NPTA, Mr. Walter.
50:46It's an excellent job.
50:48There's a drive to educate and communicate, and, you know, I really want to salute the National NPTA.
50:57More than that, I also had an audience with the President of TUTOR, Mr. Ash.
51:02What is happening, these things, you would not find these things in the forefront, but they are quietly being done.
51:09And when we're going to do lectures, we talk to young people about choices, about suspending certain type of lifestyle
51:16for now
51:17and focusing on who you are, what you want, because you have a purpose.
51:21There's a lot of good work going on, you know.
51:23And sometimes it's not being advertised, marketed, and promoted.
51:26And that is one of the questions I ask the President of the NPTA.
51:29How do you get the media?
51:31And this is an absolutely excellent platform where we can remind people that we understand the problem
51:38and we address it.
51:40However, sometimes, Mrs. Husbands, and you will know that too, is the reinforcement.
51:44So you speak to the children in the school, and therefore there's no reinforcement at home.
51:49Sometimes parents undermine your work and ask you, will you come in here?
51:53I want you come in with that for.
51:54Thank you very much.
51:56We have a caller.
51:56Caller, good evening.
51:59Hello.
52:00Hi.
52:01Good evening.
52:02Hi.
52:02Good evening to you, sir.
52:05Good evening to you, sir.
52:07That's a silly answer.
52:09I just want to stay by the people's formation.
52:12I think I always try to get from, I try to get a lot of what I'm going on.
52:16Yes, you can know the team members who have done.
52:20I mean, we mentioned everybody's youth club, but then he also did so many lectures over those years.
52:27I think, you know, in school, in churches, and that's why I choose the very effective.
52:32So I imagine, in terms of youth, he has turned away from crime.
52:39And, you know, I want to tell you, as you can't say, that I want it well-deserved.
52:44The only thing I want to do is, as I always tell you, when I call it, that you should
52:48be
52:48IACP right now.
52:49But, um, that speaks upon people.
52:53They are very effective, I know, sometimes, in the organization.
52:59And, also, I think your program should have been a template for the youth by the government
53:05to transform youth instead of going after this Zoto, Muka, Muka, Muka, which is a very challenging.
53:13I think, right, it should have been something like yours, it should have been effective plus
53:17the quick apprehension of Cullinan.
53:19So, congratulations again for, you know, for what you have contributed to this mission.
53:26Thank you so much, Cullinan.
53:28I'm grateful for the love, to God be the glory.
53:30Amen.
53:31You know, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding come from God.
53:33Always, yes.
53:34You know, health and strength, I thank Him.
53:36I thank Him for my family.
53:38I thank Him for the people I've surrounded and, you know, who have done justice in terms
53:42of my personal development.
53:44You don't bite the hand in that video.
53:45No.
53:46I always remember people have contributed to development.
53:48My brother, who called us now, from Tobago, he was instrumental in allowing me to form a
53:53part of team for, um, customer service.
53:55We were going Sandy Grandy and talking to officers about customers, where you speak, stand, you
54:00communicate, transforming the chat room into an area where people can receive, you know.
54:05Well, we have our final caller this evening.
54:07Caller.
54:07Good evening.
54:09Good.
54:09Blessing to you, Whitney.
54:11Good evening.
54:11See you.
54:12Nice.
54:12And from yours usual.
54:14Blessing to you, sir, for the hard-working police officers in the trial.
54:16In the trial.
54:17It's great.
54:19Before the war, I wanted to pick up TV6 for the movies we have been getting for the weekend.
54:23I tell another people who lost the world with Gohano Internet, and we are glad to do movies
54:28on TV6.
54:29By the order, frequency, I am sure that it's garbage.
54:33We have TV6 with any family.
54:35So, it's it all and live.
54:36I watched it through with me, movie every Saturday.
54:39So, I tell another, I pick up TV6 for this.
54:42No, Mr. Shabuddin.
54:44So, Mama lost, Mama boy, get condoned by the police in this world.
54:49Mama, good, good boy, and then four things, they get through it.
54:51So, that is four percent less, Trinidad, to be good to become an Asiva place, and I hope
54:55the others will live, but they still have lived in us.
54:57So, Shabuddin, I just think outside the box, you know.
55:00Here's what's happening here.
55:01The police should not be given, big man saying, you know it, the police should not be given
55:06camera.
55:07Give the police camera when they find a separate camera.
55:09You see, because they could do the nonsense and get away with it.
55:12Why the police can't do, the police could never do the job properly with camera on.
55:18If they find it, don't have no camera.
55:20They could do what they want.
55:23Thank you so much, Kola.
55:24I mean, you know, how they get passionate about what is going on in the country.
55:29I love that.
55:29I love people who can contribute to, and this platform provides people to share.
55:33Once you lock people off, then you have lost touch and connectivity.
55:37Now, Corporal, we have a few seconds.
55:39Let us know what's going on with CIC and St. Joseph Conference.
55:41Well, big things.
55:42I just want to commend Terrell Edwards, my son Malik, and students of the St. Joseph Conference.
55:49Then they'll be participating in the 24th International Model, UNESCO.
55:54It's being held in Argentina.
55:56It's on the 18th of October.
55:58I want to come.
55:58You know when young people do well, you must applaud them.
56:01So, St. Joseph Conference, I want to commend Mr. Sampa, the Vice-Principal of St. Mary's,
56:05you know, who really came together and do justice.
56:08Well done, young people.
56:09And to Zaya as well, congratulations to you as you all go and represent Corporal.
56:12We'd like to thank you so much for being here with us.
56:14We get ready for news up next.
56:16Don't forget, deep dive is at 8.30.
56:17God bless.
56:18We're out.
