00:00So how long has the International Sport Kickboxing Association been in TNT?
00:05Well, it was a question posed to local director of the organization, Medford Charles.
00:10Iska has been for a while.
00:12It had previous people with Iska, you know, used to run Iska,
00:15but it fell for a while, but it kicked back up.
00:19We have been in the franchise right now,
00:20so we, you know, tried starting to move it from its policies
00:23to take it at a different level.
00:25So this is something, you know, it could be like new to people,
00:28but it has been for a while.
00:30So we're just moving forward to the best way we can.
00:33Will the TNT public gravitate to K1 fighting?
00:35K1 is, it's nothing new really, but it's new to Trinidad in a proper format.
00:42It entails strikes with the fists, feet, and knee strikes with the clinch, right?
00:49And it's a very exciting form of fighting,
00:51and yes, I think Trinidad will definitely gravitate to it.
00:54They intend to get more people involved as the organization aims to spread its wings.
00:59As we go along, we'll be putting people in place,
01:02we'll be organizing to get different champions, you know,
01:04to get them title as well, because we're looking to have a team.
01:08We're just looking to keep this one-man title, this one-man title.
01:10We want to have a team, so we can move from Trinidad and go,
01:14the world, bring the world here,
01:16because it's not people out there waiting for men to have titles, you know,
01:20because they need it.
01:20As a fighter, you need to take a boy title,
01:23so you need to keep it going on, keep it going on.
01:26They've already begun to line up more tournaments.
01:29Okay, so the next promotion for ISCA would be on October 3rd.
01:34It's a kickboxing series called Brave.
01:37It's an under-17 tournament,
01:39and as I said, it kicks off on October 2nd.
01:41It should be within every four months
01:44that we would have an installation of the tournament.
