00:00Let's go farther south now to central Kentucky where storms brought heavy rain and lightning to the region yesterday.
00:05Here we are in Versailles, Kentucky, and Woodford County.
00:08And it has been a nasty time with these thunderstorms in many areas here.
00:13And as we look at the overall radar view for the southeast, a lot of us have just been sweating
00:18it out.
00:18But now storms are activating in scattered parts of the central Gulf Coast area.
00:22But farther north, what really has our attention has been ongoing flash flooding.
00:26Look at this. We've got flash flooding in progress in parts of Ohio and West Virginia.
00:30More storms also bringing flash flooding to areas near Kingsport and Bristol, Tennessee, and Virginia.
00:35Knoxville has had some flash flooding.
00:37A lot of reports of damaging wind are coming in here from the Smokies and western parts of North Carolina
00:42as well.
00:43Slow-moving storms are also popping into areas northwest of Philadelphia, northern Lancaster County, by the way.
00:48But some of these storms to the south have a little bit more wind gust potential that will be a
00:53problem.
00:54Flash flooding, damaging wind. Those are your main concerns here.
00:57And again, we have some slightly less organized storms near the Gulf Coast.
01:01So flooding concerns are still with us.
01:03Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio.
01:05Ongoing river flooding in Illinois and Indiana.
01:07And the severe risk from this point forward for the evening.
01:11Damaging wind and flash flooding.
01:13Western parts of Virginia, eastern Tennessee, and especially western North Carolina.
01:18So again, the flooding and the wind are what really have our attention this evening with this ongoing severe threat.
01:24Temperatures right now, pretty steamy in areas like Nashville.
01:2792, 96 in Charlotte, really hot there.
01:29But the storms are cooling us down to 73 in Knoxville.
01:33are some major supplies where it can be loaded with you to keep the flow. We
01:33well, I love to ensure that every breath comes from Alex and Madison is down to person. Keep on
