01:12We should not justify nor hide them before the face of Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, but confess them with
01:20a humble, lowly, penitent and obedient heart.
01:24To the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same, by his infinite goodness and mercy.
01:35Although we ought always to humbly acknowledge our sins before God, we should do this particularly when we assemble and
01:43meet together,
01:44to give thanks for the great benefits we have received at his hands.
01:48To give him most worthy praise, to hear his most holy word, and to ask those things which are truly
01:57necessary as well for the body as the soul.
02:03Therefore I pray and ask you, who are present here today, to accompany me with a pure heart and humble
02:09voice to the throne of the heavenly grace, as we say together.

08:29Hold them accountable for their sins.
08:32Do not vindicate them.
08:34May their names be deleted from the scroll of the living.
08:37Do not let their names be listed with the godly.
08:42I am oppressed and suffering.
08:44O God, deliver and protect me.
08:47I will sing praises to God's name.
08:50I will magnify him as I give thanks.
08:53That will please the Lord more than an ox

09:00The oppressed look on.

11:04The sin of Judah is recorded with a pen of iron,
11:07In the sharp point of a jewel,
11:09It is cut on their hearts of stone,
11:12And on the horns of their altars flow a sign to them.
11:17Their altars and their wood pillars and their every branching tree,
11:21On the high hills and the mountains in the field.
11:25I will give your wealth and all your stores to be taken away in war without a price,
11:30Because of your sins in every part of your land.
11:33Your hand will have to let go your heritage which I gave you,
11:37And I will make you a servant to your haters,
11:40In a land which is strange to you.
11:44For you have put my wrath on fire,
11:46With a flame which will go on burning for ever.
11:50This is what the Lord has said,
11:53Ghost is the man who puts his faith in man,
11:55And makes his flesh his arm,
11:58And whose heart is turned away from the Lord.
12:01He will be like the brushwood in the upland,

15:54And from places around to Jerusalem,

16:02With burnt offerings,
16:04And offerings of beasts,

16:07Perfumes and offerings of praise,
16:09To the house of the Lord.
16:14But if you do not give ear to me,
16:16Just keep the Sabbath day holy,
16:19And let no weight be lifted,
16:21And taken through the doors of Jerusalem,
16:23On the Sabbath day.
16:25Then I will put a fire to its doorways,
16:28Burning up the great houses of Jerusalem,
16:30And it will never be put out.

20:24You clean the outside of the cup and the dish,
20:27But inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
20:31Blind,
20:32Pharisee!
20:33First clean the inside of the cup,
20:36So that the outside can become clean too.
20:40Woe to you,
20:42Experts in the law,
20:43And you Pharisees,
20:44Hypocrites!
20:45You are like whitewashed tombs that look beautiful on the outside,
20:50But inside are full of bones of the dead,
20:53And of everything unclean.
20:56In the same way,
20:57On the outside you look righteous to people,
21:00But in the inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
21:06Woe to you experts in the law and you Pharisees,
21:10Hypocrites!
21:11You build tombs for the prophets,
21:14And decorate the graves of the righteous,
21:16And you say,
21:18If we had lived in the days of our ancestors,
21:20We would not have participated with them in the shedding of the blood of the prophets.
21:27By saying this,
21:28You testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets.
21:35Fill up, then, the measure of your ancestors.
21:39This is the word of the Lord.
