00:21They have locked up long term and or are considered cornerstones of the franchise.
00:25They're not going to trade Pete Alonzo or Gunnar Henderson. You know, Adley Rutschman's name has been out there,
00:29but they're also not in position to be buyers because they're so mediocre this year that they can't be leapfrogging
00:35teams.
00:35And again, so I say a lot about I say a lot about a lot of teams this year.
00:38One or two moves doesn't fix the Orioles. You need like four or five, six, seven moves that will actually
00:44put them in the spot to compete.
00:45And that doesn't happen at the trade deadline. That happens in the offseason.
00:50Listen, all eyes are going to be for Detroit on school. Right.
00:54So this is a I mean, those were tough losses over the weekend of Kansas City, man.
00:58I mean, they really were because if they win those and get I mean, they had a three game winning

01:04and then they lose a couple of one runners that to a team they should not be losing to.
01:10So the question becomes all of a sudden these games are pretty important.

01:18That's the big question, because what happens if he is traded?

01:24They're basically punting, right?
01:26That's what it comes down to. He'll have his last start.
01:29I believe it's going to be on Wednesday for the Tigers.
01:33And, you know, it's not just about his one start.
01:35He doesn't need to go out there and have 15 strikeouts in order for him to be a trade can.
01:39It's just about them winning games this week.
01:41That's all it comes down to them winning games and picking up games in the wild card.
01:45And obviously, they can't control the other teams that lose.
01:48They have to go and take care of their own business.
01:49Losing two games to Kansas City really put them behind the eight ball.
01:53But Scoobo not being traded and then them not making the playoffs would be a disaster.
