00:29They ended up sweeping in Chicago, and now the White Sox get the return of favor at Fenway.
00:35But I don't know that I want to step in front of this Boston train right now.

00:42Adley Rutschman, when he's healthy, will be there.
00:46They clearly are looking toward winning this year.
00:48They've made that statement, may have sacrificed for the future, too.

01:08I don't know that they necessarily did a ton to make themselves better, but they always seem to make these

01:13And I think by adding Joe Adele and adding Foster Griffin, I think they did that.
01:18And, you know, White Sox didn't do a whole lot, but I think they probably looked in the mirror, Joe,

01:22You know what? Like, were we supposed to be here anyway? I don't think so.
01:26I'm with you. I probably, until Boston starts at least playing 500 baseball, right now they're playing, like, 700 baseball.
01:33When they get back to 500 baseball, then I can think about going against them.
01:36But right now, they're not a team, as you said, that you want to step in front of.

01:43Now, they are coming off of that West Coast road trip, but, hey, they swept the Dodgers while they were

01:50They had a night off yesterday.

01:54You know, you have been pointing this out for a while now, where we have some of these pitchers that
01:59have been very good this year.
02:01And then all of a sudden, you start looking at their last, you know, four or five starts, and you're

02:08Well, they're certainly getting up there in innings.
02:11And, yeah, this is a lot.
02:12And Davis Martin is one of those guys here.
02:17He's an all-star.
02:18He's been way better than I thought he would be.
02:21But it does appear that maybe some fatigue is starting to set in, because his last four starts have not
02:28been good for the White Sox, home or away.
02:32And how much, I mean, how much does it matter they just saw one another three and a half weeks
02:37ago in the scope of things to you?
02:40Oh, yeah, probably not much.
02:41They make those adjustments.
02:42But the innings and the pitches, that's a real thing, Joe.
02:45And we really don't know about him or Burke or any of, really, the pitchers on the White Sox.
02:50And, you know, you're going to have a lot of other teams that are going to go through this, too.
02:53A lot of uncharted territory where just don't be surprised if you see guys not be able to make it

03:01I think that that's a possibility, too.
03:04But, look, I mean, you kind of have to go through it, and you have to figure out who you

03:09Back in the days, in the 80s and the 90s, it was like 200 innings.
03:13And then you started to worry about it.
03:15But right now, it's like 140 innings is when you start to worry about guys, a completely different scenario.
