00:02Hello South Australia, it is Sunday the 12th of July and this is your weather update for the week
00:07ahead. Tomorrow there will still be marine wind warnings as the frontal systems are hanging
00:14around. They will ease on Tuesday and by Wednesday they should be well and far off. So that means
00:22that as the high pressure system moves through it should calm the winds right down. Let's have a
00:27look at rainfall though. Starting on Monday we still get the showers left over from the fronts
00:34anywhere really between one and sort of five mils. Tuesday similar story but the spatial extent
00:42contracts down into the southeast and then Wednesday it's clear and it stays clear for Thursday, Friday,
00:50Saturday and Sunday. Because of that high pressure system there is a chance of fog and frost across
00:59South Australia with minimum temperatures at the end of the week reaching the zero to five degree range.
01:06So that's something to watch out for. The frost won't be as intense as it was last week. It should
01:13clear out relatively quickly in the day with some milder midday temperatures compared to last week.
01:21So let's have a look. This is Clare, South Australia. It's going to be our little town in profile. At
01:28the
01:28start of the week you can see the rainfall from the fronts but light showers 1.2 mils, 2 mils,
01:343 mils.
01:35And if we look at the certainty yep pretty much all the models are showing just that light scattered
01:40shower. It's down here on the Friday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday that we get the two to three degree
01:46range. On Friday you can see that there's frost risk for the morning but that clears up fairly early
01:51as the sunshine comes in and starts to warm the ground. So the fog, there might be fog with those
01:59calm winds and the high pressure system setting over as well as the moisture from the start of the week
02:04but the fog will not be anywhere near as intense as it was last week. So yeah, there we go.
02:11So that's it for South Australia. Frontal systems at the start of the week, clearing off and cooling
02:17down towards the end of the week in the overnight minimums. We will see you next time. Have a great
02:23week, stay safe. Bye.
