00:04Hello, it is Sunday the 27th of September and this is your forecast for Queensland and Northern
00:08Territory for the week ahead. There is not a lot of rain on the way, some light showers up in
00:12the
00:13coastal tropics areas and down in the southeast but no major systems is crossing the parts of
00:18either of these two states. Day by day we'll start off here on Sunday as we can see just these
00:24sort
00:24of light showers in some of the coastal regions, similar for Monday but an intensification down
00:28here in the southeast with some onshore breeze, similar for Tuesday but that eases off a bit,
00:33Wednesday it dries out in the southeast we have potentially sort of one to five mils up in the
00:38Northern Territory's coastal region, Thursday similar story, Friday it dries out, Saturday and Sunday so
00:45as you can see it's pretty dry coming through here and that's um we've seen that in the seasonal
00:49forecast that it's relatively dry across this northeast area. All right let's have a look now
00:54at wind there is some gustier winds um nothing nothing too strong that I'm seeing throughout
01:00the week but um Tuesday did pop out as the stronger wind day we have some little pockets of 40
01:04to 63
01:05kilometer hour gusts but mainly sort of in between the 20 and 40 kilometer hour zones seeing that spraying
01:10conditions are likely poorer at the start of the week and improving towards the sort of middle of
01:14the week there. As for temperature there is a risk of fog at the start and end of the week
01:20a lot of
01:20these patches here you'll see the 10 to 15 degrees through Queensland could be associated with some
01:25morning fog um and then if we go into Wednesday we'll go midday I just want to show you this
01:31pocket
01:32of warm air here sure yeah um now this is maybe 35 to 40 degrees and that's coming quite far
01:39south
01:40this is um adding to some amplified bushfire risk in a lot of these central Queensland regions it's only a
01:46high fire danger risk so um not in the sort of extreme categories but just something to be mindful
01:52of as there's a possibility of some uh lightning and thunderstorms as a trough moves through but they
01:58really are quite unlikely to be seen in Queensland or the Northern Territory. All right that is it for
