00:03Hello WA, it is Sunday the 4th of October and this is your weather forecast for the week ahead.
00:07Most of the active weather has moved through the state by the time that you'll watch this video.
00:11It's this system here which could have delivered sort of 25 to 50 mils in those local areas.
00:16But as for the rest of the week, if there's any rain, it's down here in the southeast coast,
00:20a possible accumulation of 15 to 25. Let's have a look day by day.
00:24All right, this is Sunday. You can see that system has pretty much moved off there out of WA,
00:28but a bit of rain along the border region. Monday, it is dry and stable across the state.
00:33Same for Tuesday, and I believe it's Tuesday that, yes, it's quite warm, especially in these southern regions,
00:39as a high establishes itself down in the Bight, driving this sort of northerly wind down.
00:44So, yeah, a bit warm or toasty there on Tuesday for you.
00:48Moving ahead into Wednesday, a local light sort of shower, 2 to 5 mils for most areas.
00:53It could get to 5 to 10 mils, so that could be some stronger rainfall, but it's a small area,
00:57so it just sort of depends where it lands. As for Thursday, we start to see the real system
01:02of the week establish itself. It's a front moving through. Anywhere between 5 and a possible 25 mils
01:08is on the way there for Thursday. It moves off into South Australia by Friday, and then again,
01:14relatively stable on Sunday, maybe a shower in the southeast there, and then Sunday, again,
01:18possible shower. But we're talking six, seven, eight days out here, so we'll see what that develops
01:23into. There's a possibility that that front could be a little bit stronger and bring some more moderate
01:28rainfall on the way there. As for wind, I haven't seen any particularly strong windy conditions pop
01:34up in the south of the state. I will actually show you here on Friday that up in the north,
01:41we've got some gusty conditions, so 40 to 63 kilometres an hour up in the north here, and that's
01:45sort of widespread in the region. And that will also be there for Thursday, I believe. Yeah,
01:51Thursday also quite gusty up in the north. But as for the south, I'm not seeing super,
01:55super strong gusty conditions there. All right, that is it for WA. As I said, most of the weather,
02:01or most of the severe weather has moved across with that system, but more rain on the way as
02:05a front moves through towards the end of the week. All right, stay safe, have a great week,
02:09and we'll see you next time. Bye!
