00:02It is Sunday the 4th of October and this is your weather forecast for the week ahead.
00:07Fairly standard distribution of rainfall this week but day-to-day there's some variability
00:11so we'll just dive straight into it. All right looking here at the Sunday rainfall not a lot
00:15of rain on the way there same for Monday but Tuesday we get this sort of west coast rainfall
00:20but all parts of the state are going to see rain anywhere between two and five mils if you're on
00:24the east coast and some of the northwest five to ten mils. All right Wednesday it dries out again
00:29Thursday it's still dry but you can see this front that's about to move through that it arrives
00:33in Friday mainly in the west coast lighter rain for really Saturday for it to establish itself a
00:37little bit more five to ten mils across much of the northwest region. However I don't have a lot
00:43of confidence in how this system in itself acts we're talking six to seven days out here and if
00:48I zoom out and show you how it sort of looks across the rest of the country you can see
00:53that there's
00:53not a lot of organization to that so it's showing me that the models might be all sort of spinning
00:57something else up but yeah a bit of rain on the way it doesn't look too serious at this point
01:02but
01:02that's something I would be watching. Okay let's have a look at Tuesday and Wednesday because there
01:08is severe weather on the way so we have very strong winds on Tuesday these large orange bits are 60
01:15to
01:1593 kilometer an hour gusts and you can see they really come into the island state across the large
01:20areas of it so a lot of wind on the way there. For then Wednesday morning we've got this cold
01:25air mass
01:26in the region so the morning of Wednesday we're seeing negative five to zero degrees up in that
01:31sort of cradle mountain region but across pretty much the whole state zero to five degrees celsius
01:35so I definitely think there'll be like sheep graziers warnings issued potentially frost and fog there as
01:40well so it's something to keep in mind just because it's not rainy doesn't mean that there isn't severe
