00:05after an earlier attempt to kill him by pushing him off a rooftop field
00:08in Telangana's Nizamabad district.
00:12According to investigators Sandhya,
00:14her alleged lover Anil and his friend Venkitsai conspired to kill her husband Prashant
00:20who had recently returned from the Gulf.
00:22Police alleged the trio first made him heavily intoxicated
00:26before Anil and Venkitsai assaulted him and pushed him from the rooftop.
00:30Prashant survived the fall with serious injuries and was admitted to a hospital.
00:35Police alleged that while Prashant was undergoing treatment,
00:38Sandhya, a nurse at a private hospital,
00:40injected toilet cleaning liquid into his IV line, leading to his death.
00:44The alleged conspiracy came to light after the victim's mother grew suspicious
00:48and filed a complaint on 1st July.
00:50Following the investigation, police arrested Sandhya, Anil and Venkitsai.
00:55The three have been remanded to judicial custody
00:57while forensic examination and further investigation are underway.
