00:38Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:47I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:58I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:08God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:17Father.
01:18Through him all things were made.
01:22For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:30the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:33For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death, and was buried, and rose again on the
01:41third day, in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:45He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:50He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:58I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the
02:05Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:13I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church, I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and I
02:22look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:28Amen.

04:14reading from the second book of Kings chapter 22
04:20Josiah was eight years old when he became king and he reigns for 31 years in Jerusalem
04:28his mother was Jedidiah daughter of Adiah from Baskath he did what the Lord approved of and
04:35followed in his ancestor David's footsteps he did not deviate to the right nor to the left in the
04:46eighteenth year of King Josiah's reign the king sent the scribe Shapan son of Azaliah son of
04:53Meshulam to the Lord's temple with these orders go up to Hilkiah the high priest and have him melt down
05:03the
05:03silver that has been brought by the people to the Lord's temple and has been collected by the guards at
05:09the door have them handed over to the construction foreman assigned to the Lord's temple they in turn
05:18should pay the temple workers to repair it including craftsmen builders and masons they should buy wood and
05:26chiseled stone for the repair work do not audit the foreman who disperse the silver for they are honest
05:38Hilkiah the high priest informed Shapan the scribe I found the law scroll in the Lord's temple
05:46Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shapan and he read it Shapan the scribe went to the king and reported your
05:55servants
05:55melted down the silver in the temple and handed it over to the construction foreman assigned to the
06:01Lord's temple then Shapan the scribe told the king Hilkiah the high priest has given me a scroll
06:12Shapan read it aloud before the king and when the king heard the words of the law scroll he tore
06:19his clothes
06:22the king ordered Hilkiah the priest Ichiham son of Shapan Achbor son of Micaiah Shapan the scribe and
06:31Isaiah the king's servant go seek an oracle from the Lord for me and for the people for all of
06:39Judah find out
06:41about the words of the scroll that has been discovered for the Lord's fury has been ignited against us because
06:49our ancestors have not obeyed the words of the scroll by doing all that it instructs us to do
06:58and so Hilkiah the priest Achiham Achbor Shapan and Isaiah went to Haldar the prophetess the wife of Shulam son
07:08of Tikva the son of Hachas the supervisor of the wardrobe she lived in Jerusalem in the Mishneh district
07:18they stated their business and she said to them this is what the Lord God of Israel says say this
07:27to
07:27the man who sent you to me this is what the Lord says I am about to bring disaster on
07:36this place and
07:37its residents the details of which are recorded in the scroll which the king of Judah has read
07:46this will happen because they have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to other gods angering me
07:54with all the idols they have made my anger will ignite against this place and will not be extinguished
08:05say this to the king of Judah who sent you to seek an oracle for the Lord this is what
08:12the Lord God
08:13of Israel says concerning the words that you have heard you have displayed a sensitive spirit and
08:20humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard how I intended to make this place and its residents
08:27into an appalling example of an accursed people you tore your clothes and wept before me and I have heard
08:37you says the Lord therefore I will allow you to die and be buried in peace you will not have
08:46to witness
08:46all the disaster I am bringing of this place then they reported back to the king this is the word

22:42The Gospel according to Saint John, Chapter 21.
22:48After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias.
22:56Now this is how he did so.
23:00Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathaniel who was from Cana in Galilee.
23:07The sons of Zebedee and two other disciples of his were together.
23:13Simon Peter told them, I'm going fishing.
23:18We'll go with you, they replied.
23:20And they went out and got into the boat.
23:23But that night they caught nothing.
23:29When it was already very early morning, Jesus stood on the beach.
23:34But the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
23:39So Jesus said to them, children, you don't have any fish, do you?
23:45They replied, no.
23:49He told them, throw your nets on the right side of the boat and you will find some.
23:55So they threw the net.
23:57So they threw the net and were not able to pull it in because of the large number of fish.
24:04Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, it is the Lord.
24:10So Simon Peter, when he heard that it was the Lord, tucked in his outer garment for he had nothing
24:17on underneath it and plunged into the sea.
24:22Meanwhile, the other disciples came in with the boat, dragging the net full of fish for they were not far
24:28from the land, only about a hundred yards.
24:33When they got out on the beach, they saw a charcoal fire ready with a fish placed on it and
24:39bread.
24:40Jesus said, bring some of the fish you have just now caught.
24:46So Simon Peter went aboard and pulled the net to shore.
24:50It was full of large fish, one hundred and fifty three.
24:55But although there were so many, the net was not tall.
24:59Come, have breakfast, Jesus said.
25:04But none of the disciples dared to ask him, who are you?
25:08Because they knew it was the Lord.
25:13Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them and did the same with the fish.
25:19This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
25:29When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than
25:36these do?
25:37He replied, yes, Lord, you know I love you.
25:42Jesus told him, feed my lambs.
25:48Jesus said a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me?
26:13Peter was distressed that Jesus asked him a third time, do you love me?
26:19And said, Lord, you know everything.
26:23You know I love you.
26:27Jesus replied, feed my sheep.
26:32I tell you the solemn truth.
26:34When you were young, you tied your clothes around you and you went wherever you wanted.
26:41But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and others will tie you up and bring you
26:48where you do not want to go.
26:52Now, Jesus said this to indicate clearly by what kind of death Peter would glorify God.
27:00After he had said this, Jesus told Peter, follow me.
27:07Peter turned around and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them.
27:12And this was the disciple who had leant against Jesus's chest at the meal and asked, Lord, who is the
27:19one who is going to betray you?
27:23So when Peter saw him, he asked Jesus, Lord, what about him?
27:31Jesus replied, if I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours?
27:38You follow me.
27:41And so the saying circulated among the brothers and sisters that this disciple was not going to die.
27:49But Jesus did not say to him that he was not going to die.
27:53But rather, if I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours?
28:03This is the disciple who testifies about these things and has written these things.
28:09And we know that his testimony is true.
28:13There are many other things that Jesus did.
28:17If every one of them were written down, I suppose the whole world would not have room for the books
28:23that would be written.
28:24Amen.
28:26This is the word of the Lord.
28:29Thanks be to God.
28:36Collect for peace.
28:39O God, who is the author of peace and lover of concord,
28:43in knowledge of whom stands our eternal life, whose service is perfect freedom,
28:49defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies,
28:55that we, surely trusting in your defence, may not fear the power of any adversaries.
29:02Through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord.
29:06Amen.
29:10Collect for our safe Preservation.
29:14O Lord, our Heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God,
29:18who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day.
29:22Defend us in the same with your mighty power,
29:25and grant that this day we fall into no sin,
29:29neither run into any kind of danger,
29:33but that all our doings may be ordered by your governance,
29:38to do always that which is righteous in your sight.
29:43Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
29:45Amen.
29:50Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me,
29:55and let me devote myself completely to your sacred will.
30:01Direct me and help me each hour of this day.
30:05Control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and words.
30:10When unpredictable circumstances arise,
30:14do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
30:18Lord Jesus, Son of God,
30:21it is better not to live than to live without you.
30:25I thank you, God, for the gift of this new day,
30:28and for all the good deeds you will help me do today.
30:34Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day to my Lord and Saviour.
30:40Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister,
30:45never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
30:49Control my will and teach me to pray,
30:52to believe, to hope, to suffer, to forgive and to love.
30:59Amen.
31:03We pray for the work of your faithful servants throughout the world, Lord.
31:10Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
31:16May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
31:19the love of God,
31:21and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
31:23be with us all today and for evermore.
31:29Amen.
