00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:19Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
02:26and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is
03:03in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord, because there is none other that fights for it, but only you, O
03:59God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:10Amen.
04:19My child, keep my words, and treasure up my commands in your own keeping.
04:25Keep my commands that you may live, and obey my instruction as your most prized possession.
04:33Bind them on your forearm, and write them on the tablet of your heart.
04:39Say to wisdom, you are my sister, and call understanding a close relative, that they may keep you from an
04:48adulterous woman, from the loose woman who flatters you with her words.
04:53For at the window of my house, through my window lattice, I looked out, and I saw the naive I
05:00discerned among the used, a young man who lacked wisdom.
05:05He was passing by the street near her corner, making his way along the road to her house in the
05:12twilight, the evening, in the dark of the night.
05:17Suddenly a woman came out, and she was dressed like a prostitute, she was dressed like a prostitute, and with
05:23secret intent.
05:25She is loud and rebellious, she does not remain at home, at one time outside, at another in the wide
05:32plazas, and by every corner she lies in wait.
05:38And so she grabbed him and kissed him, and with a bold expression she said to him,
05:44I have fresh meat at home, today I have fulfilled my vows.
05:49That is why I came out to meet you, to look for you, and I found you.
05:54I have spread my bed with elegant coverings, with richly coloured fabric from Egypt.
06:01I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloe, and cinnamon.
06:07Come, let us drink deeply of lovemaking until morning.
06:11Let us delight ourselves with sexual intercourse.
06:16For my husband is not at home.
06:18He has gone on a journey of some distance.
06:23He has taken a bag of money with him, and will not return until the end of the month.
06:31He persuaded him with pervasive words, and her smooth talk compelled him.
06:38Suddenly he went after her, like an ox that goes into the slaughter, like a snag prancing in a trapper's
06:46snare,
06:47until an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird hurrying into a trap.
06:53He does not know that it will cost him his life.
06:58So now, sons, listen to me, and pay attention to the words I speak.
07:03Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways.
07:07Do not wander into her pathways, for she has brought down many fatally wounded,
07:12and all those she has slain are many.
07:16Her house is the way to the grave, going down to the chambers of death.
07:23This is the word of the Lord.
07:26Thanks be to God.
07:33Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways.
07:34Hear my prayer, O God.
07:37And let my crying come unto thee.
07:44I thought I faced so near in the time of my trouble.
07:51I cry, my dear, unto thee when I come,
07:57Lord, hear thee, I'll not cry soon.
08:03Oh, my days are consumed now when I smoke,
08:10And my heart, my heart, my heart,
08:13That in love of fire ran.
08:17Oh, my heart is stationed down on wind and light cross,
08:24So that I not get to eat my bread.
08:31O'er the voice of my groaning,
08:36My waters get free to my flesh.
08:41I am become like a pelican in the wilderness,
08:50And like an hour that is in the desert.
08:54And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:05And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:12And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:29And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:33And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:36And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:42And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:49And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:52And like an hour that is in the desert.
09:53And like an hour that is in the desert.

15:37The Lord executed righteousness and judgment
15:50For all them that are oppressed with wrong
15:55He shot his ways unto murders
16:01His works unto the children of Israel
16:06The Lord is full of compassion and virtue
16:13Not suffering and of gracefulness
16:19We live not for them each other
16:24By the keeping we thank them forever
16:30He hath not dealt with us after our sins
16:36More in more than us are calling to our wickedness
16:43For look how high the heavenly comparator
16:49Of the earth
16:51So great is his mercy also to all them that fear him
16:59Look how wide all the east is from the west
17:06So far have he set us in trouble
17:14The Lord is full of compassion and virtue
17:18And his good children
17:20Even so is the Lord merciful unto them that pray
17:30And his good children
17:34And his good children
17:43The Lord is full of compassion and virtue
17:51And his good children
17:53The Lord is full of compassion
17:56The Lord is full of compassion
17:58For as soon as the wind bloweth over it, this is gone,
18:07and the place thereof shall know it no more.
18:14But the merciful goodness of the Lord endureth forever and ever upon them that see him,
18:24and his righteousness among children's children,
18:31even upon such as keep his covenant, and think upon his commandments to do them,
18:42the Lord hath prepared his seated hand, and his kingdom rule the cover of all.
18:53O praise the Lord, ye angels of peace, ye that excel and spread,
19:03ye that fulfill his commandment, and hunger unto the voice of his word.
19:13O praise the Lord, ye of his hosts, his servants of his hands to his pleasure.
19:25O praise the Lord, ye of his hosts, ye that excel and spread,
19:36O praise the Lord, ye of his hosts, he of his hosts, he of his hosts, he of his hosts,
20:08O praise the Lord, ye of his hosts, He of your hosts, and he of our hosts, heof grizzляis.
20:23O praise the Lord, ye of his hosts, he of his hosts, he of his hosts, he of rivals, he
20:27of his hosts, he of mine,
20:28The Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 21.
20:32When we arrived in Jerusalem, the brothers welcomed us gladly.
20:37The next day, Paul went with us to see James and all the elders were there.
20:43When Paul had greeted them, he began to explain in detail what God had done among the Gentiles through his
20:50ministry.
20:51When they heard this, they praised God.
20:55Then they said to him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who have believed, and they
21:03are all ardent observers of the law.
21:06They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews now living among the Gentiles to abandon Moses,
21:14telling them not to circumcise their children, or live according to our customs.
21:20What then should we do?
21:23They will no doubt hear that you have come here.
21:26So do what we tell you.
21:29We have four men who have taken the veil.
21:31Take them and purify yourself along with them, and pay their expenses, so that they may have their heads shaved.
21:41Then everyone will know that there is nothing in what they have been told about you,
21:46that you yourself live in conformity with the law.
21:51But regarding the Gentiles who have believed, we have written a letter,
21:55having decided that they should avoid meat that has been sacrificed to idols and blood,
22:01and what has been strangled, and sexual immorality.
22:07Then Paul took the men the next day, and after he had purified himself along with them,
22:12he went to the temple and gave notice of the completion of the days of purification,
22:19when the sacrifice would be offered for each of them.
22:23When the seven days were almost over, the Jews from the province of Asia,
22:28who had seen him in the temple, stirred up the crowds and seized him, shouting,
22:34Men of Israel, help!
22:36This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people, our law, and this sanctuary.
22:44Furthermore, he has brought Greeks into the inner courts of the temple,
22:49and made this holy place ritually unclean.
22:54For they had seen Trophimus, the Ephesian, in the city with him previously,
23:00and they assumed that Paul had taken him into the inner temple courts.
23:06The whole city was stirred up, and the people rushed together.
23:10They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple courts,
23:13and immediately the doors were shut.
23:17While they were trying to kill him, a report was sent to the commanding officer of the cohort,
23:23that all Jerusalem was in a state of chaos.
23:27And immediately he took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to the crowd.
23:34When they saw the commanding officer and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.
23:43Then the commanding officer came up, arrested him, and ordered him to be tied up with two chains.
23:50He then asked who he was and what he had done.
23:54But some in the crowd shouted one thing, and others something else.
23:59And when the commanding officer was unable to find out the truth because of the disturbance,
24:05he ordered Paul to be taken into the barracks.
24:09When he came to the steps, Paul had to be carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the
24:15mob.
24:16For a crowd of people followed him, screaming,
24:20away with him!
24:22This is the word of the Lord.
24:26Thanks be to God.
24:32Collect for Peace
24:35O God, who is the author of peace and lover of concord,
24:40in knowledge of whom stands our eternal life,
24:43whose service is perfect freedom,
24:46defend us, your humble servants,
24:49in all assaults of our enemies,
24:51that we, surely trusting in your defence,
24:55may not fear the power of any adversaries.
24:59Through the might of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
25:02Amen.
25:07Collect for Our Safe Preservation
25:10O Lord, our Heavenly Father,
25:13almighty and everlasting God,
25:14who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day,
25:19defend us in the same with your mighty power,
25:22and grant that this day
25:23we fall into no sin,
25:26neither run into any kind of danger,
25:29but that all our doings may be ordered,
25:32by your governance,
25:35to do always that which is righteous in your sight.
25:39Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
25:41Amen.
25:46Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me,
25:51and let me devote myself completely to your sacred will.
25:57Direct me and help me each hour of this day.
26:01Control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and words.
26:05When unpredictable circumstances arise,
26:09do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
26:15Lord Jesus, Son of God,
26:17it is better not to live than to live without you.
26:22I thank you, God, for the gift of this new day,
26:25and for all the good deeds you will help me do today.
26:31Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day to my Lord and Saviour.
26:37Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister,
26:41never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
26:45control my will and teach me to pray,
26:49to believe, to hope, to suffer,
26:52to forgive and to love.
26:55Amen.
27:00We pray for the work of your faithful servants
27:03throughout the world, Lord.
27:06Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
27:13May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
27:15the love of God,
27:17and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
27:20be with us all today and forevermore.
27:25Amen.
27:26Amen.
