00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:23and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord, because there is none other that fights for us, but only you, O
03:59God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:10Amen.
04:15A reading from the 2nd book of Kings, chapter 19.
04:22Isaiah, son of Amoz, sent this message to Hezekiah.
04:28This is what the Lord God of Israel says.
04:32I have heard your prayer concerning King Sennacherib of Assyria.
04:37And this is what the Lord says about him.
04:41The virgin daughter, Zion, despises you.
04:45She makes fun of you.
04:47Daughter Jerusalem shakes her head after you.
04:53Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at?
04:56At whom have you shouted and looked upon so arrogantly?
05:02At the Holy One of Israel.
05:06Through your messengers, you taunted the sovereign master.
05:11With my many chariots, I climbed the high mountains, the slopes of Lebanon.
05:16I cut down its tall cedars and its best evergreens.
05:22I invaded its most remote regions, its thickest woods.
05:28I dug wells and drank water in foreign lands.
05:32With the soles of my feet, I dried up all the rivers of Egypt.
05:39Certainly, you must have heard.
05:43Long ago, I worked it out.
05:45In ancient times, I planned it.
05:48Now, I am bringing it to pass.
05:52The plan is this.
05:54Fortified cities will crash into heaps of ruins.
06:00Their residents are powerless.
06:02They are terrified and ashamed.
06:05They are as short-lived plants in the field, or green vegetation.
06:11They are as short-lived as grass on the rooftops,
06:15when it is scorched by the east wind.
06:19I know where you live and everything you do.
06:25Because you rage against me,
06:28and the uproar you create has reached my ears.
06:32I will put my hook in your nose,
06:35my bridle between your lips,
06:37and I will lead you back the way you came.
06:43This will be your confirmation that I have spoken the truth.
06:49This year you will eat what grows wild,
06:52and next year what grows on its own from that.
06:57But in the third year you will plant seed and harvest crops.
07:01You will plant vines and consume their produce.
07:07Those who remain in Judah will take root in the ground and bear fruit.
07:13For a remnant will leave Jerusalem.
07:16Survivors will come out of Mount Zion.
07:20The intense devotion of the Sovereign Lord to his people will accomplish this.
07:26So this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria.
07:31He will not enter this city,
07:33nor will he shoot one arrow here.
07:37He will not attack it with his shield-carrying warriors,
07:41nor will he build siege works against it.
07:46He will go back the way he came.
07:48He will not enter this city, says the Lord.
07:53I will shield this city and rescue it for the sake of my reputation,
08:00and because of my promise to David, my servant.
08:06That very night,
08:08the Lord's messenger went out and killed 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp.
08:15When they got up early next morning,
08:18there were all the corpses.
08:22So king Sennacherib of Assyria broke camp and went on his way.
08:28He went home and stayed in Nineveh.
08:32One day, as he was worshipping in the temple of his god Nisroch,
08:36his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him down with the sword.
08:42And they escaped to the land of Ararat,
08:45and his son Ezohaddon replaced him as king.
08:52This is the word of the Lord.
08:55Thanks be to God.
09:02Let God arise,
09:05and let his enemies be scattered.
09:12Let the poor soul that raised him be before him.
09:18Let us sing.
09:34Let the poor soul that raised him be before him.
09:45But let the righteous be glad and rejoice before God
09:52Let them also be merry and joyful
10:01Who sing unto God and sing praises unto his name
10:12And if I win that ride with the mother of heaven
10:18Such as it were of honourable
10:22Praise him in his name we are
10:26And rejoice before him
10:34He is a father of the fathers
10:40And defendeth the cause of our wills
10:47Even God in his holy habitation
10:56He is the cause that made him then to be of one life in a house
11:04And grieve in the praise and hell's charge of captivity
11:12And let them know how the kids continue in sparseness
11:22For God, when thou wentest hold before the people
11:29When thou wentest through the willens
11:35He has stood when the heavens roped at the presence of God
11:45Even aside thy heart so was born
11:50That the presence of God
11:52Who is thy God of Israel
11:59Thou, O Lord, sent us the greatest lay of
12:04And thy life in heaven
12:07And with precious feet
12:12When it was with
12:16Thy congregation
12:19Shall well carry
12:23Thou, O Lord, sent us the greatest lay of
12:33The Lord
12:35The Lord gave the world
12:37Great was the company of the nations
12:44The Lord gave the world
12:52Great was the company of the nations
13:00The Lord
13:03For ye have lion among the thoughts
13:09Yes, shall he be as the wings of the dark
13:17That is covered with silver wings
13:21And of feathers like gold
13:28The Lord
13:29When the Almighty
13:30And of that is covered with silver wings
13:33And of that is covered with silver wings
13:41And of that is covered with silver by the nations

21:08The Gospel according to St. John, Chapter 20
21:14Now very early, on the first day of the week, while it was still dark,
21:19Mary Magdalene came to the tomb, and saw that the stone had been moved away from the entrance.
21:27So she went running to Simon Peter, and the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them,
21:34They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him.
21:41Then Peter and the other disciple set out to the tomb.
21:45The two were running together, but the other disciple was faster than Peter, reaching the tomb first.
21:54He bent down, and saw the strips of linen cloth lying there, but he did not go in.
22:02Then Simon Peter, who had been following, arrived and went right into the tomb.
22:08He saw the strips of linen cloth lying there, and the face cloth, which had been around Jesus' head,
22:15not lying with the strips of linen cloth, but rolled up in a place by itself.
22:23Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, came in, and, seeing, believed.
22:31For they did not yet understand the scripture, that Jesus would rise from the dead.
22:38And so the disciples went back to their homes.
22:42But Mary stood outside the tomb, and as she wept, she bent down and looked into the tomb.
22:52She saw two angels in white sitting where Jesus' body had been lying, one at the head and one at
23:00the foot.
23:04They said to her, woman, why are you weeping?
23:09Mary replied, they have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him.
23:18When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there.
23:24But she did not know that it was Jesus.
23:28Jesus said to her, woman, why are you weeping?
23:33Who are you looking for?
23:36Because she thought he was the gardener, she said to him, sir, if you have carried him away, tell me
23:43where you have put him, and I will take him.
23:49Jesus said to her, Mary.
23:55And she turned and said to him in Aramaic, Rabboni, which means teacher.
24:03Jesus replied, do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my father.
24:11Go to my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my father and to your father, to my God
24:18and to your God.
24:22Mary Magdalene came and informed the disciples, I have seen the Lord.
24:29And she told them what Jesus had said to her.
24:35This is the word of the Lord.
24:38Thanks be to God.
24:45Collect for peace.
24:48O God, who is the author of peace and lover of concord,
24:53in knowledge of whom stands our eternal life,
24:56whose service is perfect freedom,
24:59defend us, your humble servants,
25:01in all assaults of our enemies,
25:04that we, surely trusting in your defence,
25:08may not fear the power of any adversaries.
25:11Through the might of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
25:15Amen.
25:19Collect for our safe preservation.
25:23O Lord, our Heavenly Father,
25:25almighty and everlasting God,
25:27who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day,
25:31defend us in the same with your mighty power,
25:34and grant that this day we fall into no sin,
25:39neither run into any kind of danger,
25:41but that all our doings may be ordered by your governance to do always that which is righteous in your
25:51sight.
25:55Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me,
26:04and let me devote myself completely to your sacred will.
26:09direct me and help me each hour of this day.
26:14Control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and words.
26:18when unpredictable circumstances arise,
26:22do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
26:28Lord Jesus, Son of God,
26:30it is better not to live than to live without you.
26:34I thank you, God, for the gift of this new day and for all the good deeds you will help
26:40me do today.
26:43Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day to my Lord and Saviour.
26:49Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister,
26:54never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
26:58Control my will and teach me to pray,
27:01to believe, to hope, to suffer, to forgive and to love.
27:08Amen.
27:13We pray for the work of your faithful servants throughout the world, Lord.
27:19Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
27:25May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
27:28the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
27:32be with us all today and for evermore.
27:38Amen.
27:42Amen.
27:42Amen.
27:43Amen.
27:43Amen.
27:44Amen.
