00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the
02:07Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and
02:27the life of the world to come.

04:15the book of Esther chapter 6 throughout that night the king was unable to sleep so
04:23he asked for the book containing the historical records to be brought as the
04:29records were being read in the king's presence it was found written that
04:33Mordecai had disclosed that Bigthana and Teresh two of the king's units who
04:38guarded the entrance had plotted to assassinate King Azuherius the king asked
04:46what great honor was bestowed on Mordecai because of this the king's
04:51attendants who served him responded not a thing was done for him then the king
04:59said who is that in the courtyard now Haman had come to the outer courtyard of
05:07the palace to suggest the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had
05:11constructed for him the king's attendants said to him it is Haman who is standing in
05:18the courtyard the king said let him enter so Haman came in and the king said to him what
05:29should be done for the man whom the king wishes to honor Haman thought to himself who is it that
05:36the king would want to honor more than me so Haman said to the king for the man whom the
05:43king wishes to
05:43honor let them bring royal attire which the king himself has worn and a horse on which the king
05:50himself has written one bearing the royal insignia then let this clothing and this horse be given to
06:00one of the king's noble officials let him then clothe the man whom the king wishes to honor and let
06:07him
06:07lead him through the city on the horse calling before him so shall it be done to the man whom
06:14the king
06:15wishes to honor the king said to Haman go quickly take the clothing and the horse just as you have
06:26described and do as you just indicated to Mordecai the Jew who sits at the king's gate do not neglect
06:34a
06:34single thing of all that you have said Haman took the clothing the horse and he clothed Mordecai he led
06:45him about on the horse throughout the plaza of the city calling before him so shall it be done to
06:52the
06:52man whom the king wishes to honor then Mordecai again sat at the king's gate while Haman hurried away
07:01to his home mournful and with a veil over his head a man then related to his wife Zeresh and
07:10all his
07:10friends everything that had happened these wise men along with his wife Zeresh said to him if indeed
07:18this Mordecai before whom you have begun to fall is Jewish you will not prevail against him
07:25no you will surely fall before him while they were still speaking with him the king's eunuchs
07:33arrived and they took Haman to the banquet that Esther had prepared this is the word of the Lord thanks
07:44be to God
07:50the Lord

08:53of the Lord,
08:55and habitation for the mighty Lord of Jacob?
09:05For he had on that day had every time, and found it in the world.
09:16He will go into his tabernacle, and the Lord at ease before his cross too.
09:30For he had on that day, and the Lord at ease before his cross too.

22:09The Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 8
22:14An angel of the Lord said to Philip,
22:16Get up and go to the south to the road which runs from Jerusalem to Gaza, through the wasteland.
22:24He went and there was a man of Ethiopia, a servant of great authority, under Kandas, queen of the Ethiopians,
22:33and controller of all her property, who would come up to Jerusalem for worship.
22:39He was going back seated in his carriage, reading the book of the prophet Isaiah.
22:46The spirit said to Philip, Go near and get on his carriage.
22:52Philip, running up to him, saw that he was reading Isaiah the prophet and said to him,
22:58Is the sense of what you are reading clear to you?
23:02He said, How is that possible when I have no guide?
23:07So he made Philip get up by his side.
23:12Now the place in the book where he was reading was this.
23:16He was taken like a sheep to be put to death, as a lamb is quiet when its wool is
23:22being cut.
23:23So he made no sound.
23:26Being of low degree, his cause was not given a hearing.
23:31Who has knowledge of his family?
23:33For his life is cut off from the earth.
23:39The Ethiopian said to Philip, About whom are these words said by the prophet?
23:44About himself or about another?
23:48So Philip, starting with this writing, gave him the good news about Jesus.
23:55While they were going on their way, they came to some water.
23:57And the Ethiopian said, Look, here is water.
24:02Why may I not have baptism?
24:06He gave orders for the carriage to be stopped.
24:09The two of them went down into the water, and Philip gave him baptism.
24:16When they came up out of the water, the spirit of the Lord took Philip away.
24:21And the Ethiopian saw him no more.
24:24And he went on his way full of joy.
24:28But Philip came to Azotus, and went through all the towns, preaching the good news,
24:33until he came to Caesarea.
24:37This is the word of the Lord.
24:40Thanks be to God.
24:46Collect for Peace
24:49O God, who is the author of peace, and lover of concord,
24:54in knowledge of whom stands our eternal life,
24:58whose service is perfect freedom,
25:01defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies,
25:05that we, surely trusting in your defence,
25:09may not fear the power of any adversaries.
25:12Through the might of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
25:19Amen.
25:21Collect for our safe preservation.
25:24O Lord, our Heavenly Father,
25:27almighty and everlasting God,
25:29who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day,
25:32defend us in the same with your mighty power,
25:36and grant that this day we fall into no sin,
25:40neither run into any kind of danger,
25:43but that all our doings may be ordered
25:46by your governance,
25:49to do always that which is righteous in your sight.
25:56Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me,
26:05and let me devote myself completely to your sacred will.
26:10direct me and help me each hour of this day.
26:15Control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and words.
26:20When unpredictable circumstances arise,
26:24do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
26:29Lord Jesus, Son of God,
26:32it is better not to live than to live without you.
26:36I thank you, God, for the gift of this new day,
26:39and for all the good deeds you will help me do today.
26:45Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day
26:48to my Lord and Saviour.
26:51Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister,
26:55never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
27:00Control my will and teach me to pray,
27:03to believe, to hope, to suffer,
27:06to forgive and to love.
27:10Amen.
27:14We pray for the work of your faithful servants
27:17throughout the world, Lord.
27:21Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
27:27May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
27:30the love of God,
27:31and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
27:34be with us all today and for evermore.
