01:32This year, Germany is Vivatec's guest country,
01:35partnering with France to boost Europe's sovereignty and competitiveness.
01:40Europe's payments, for example, still rely heavily on American schemes like Visa and Mastercard,
01:46especially for cross-border transactions.
01:49Backed by 14 European banks and the two largest payment processors in Europe,
01:55Vero changes that.
01:56BNP Baribas Group is one of the founding banks behind the European Payments Initiative,
02:01Vero's mother company,
02:02and has extensively supported the launch of its several use cases
02:07by integrating them into its own ecosystems.
