00:10So AWS is the cloud computing division of Amazon.
00:14How has your company's innovation strategy changed
00:17over the last 10 years
00:18and where do you see it going in the next decade?
00:21Cloud started 20 years ago
00:22and back then it was mostly used by startups
00:25that found a way to scale and thrive like never before.
00:2810 years ago, cloud was still mostly about compute and storage.
00:33Today, it's all about data and AI.
00:36And AI is becoming the new compute,
00:38transforming the world like never before.
00:40When electricity started,
00:43people saw a better way to light a room.
00:45What they couldn't see was actually that electricity
00:48would reorganize every industry on Earth
00:50and it took more than 40 years.
00:52AI adoption is moving 10 times faster.
00:55The next decade will be about AI embedded in every workflow
01:00and every decision.
01:01So how do you keep the culture of innovation alive in your organization?
01:05At Amazon, we say it's always day one,
01:08meaning that we never stop operating like a startup,
01:11no matter the scale.
01:12Two examples.
01:13First, our leadership principle called customer obsession.
01:16It means that every idea, every project starts with a customer
01:20and works backwards.
01:21Second, we organize in small autonomous teams,
01:24we call two pizza teams,
01:26not bigger than we can feed with two pizzas,
01:28American pizzas.
01:29This ensures speed and agility.
01:32And on a personal level,
01:33skilling is foundational to innovation.
01:36We are committed to training over 800,000 people in France
01:40in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and AI by 2030.
01:45And if I had one piece of advice for innovators,
01:48go all in on AI agents.
01:51What can visitors expect from AWS at Vivatech this year?
01:56This year is special.
01:57Vivatech turns 10 and AWS celebrates 20 years of innovation.
02:01Our main booth will be at the entrance of Hall 7.2.
02:05It will be impossible to miss.

02:10where AI creates personalized perfumes based on your preferences.

02:26And you know, startups have always been close to our hearts since day one.

02:33Oh, the NBA Shooting Lab.
02:36A real basketball court where AI analyzes every shot in real time.
02:40It's a perfect example of what we mean by AI in production.
02:45Not a slide deck, not a concept,
02:47but something you can touch, you can feel, and you can compete on.
