00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Thursday morning which yet again is cool
00:05and showering. Let me take you through the bigger picture. The wind's coming in from a chilly
00:10direction. The air is primed for showers and as we head through into this evening time the winds
00:15will pick up further across the northeast. Through Thursday into Friday we'll see a slight change
00:22coming in from the west. Still some showers around but some drier conditions and a chilly start to
00:28the weekend even with a touch of frost before we'll see more cloud and some rain arrive from the
00:33west through the day. Now through this morning some drier breaks coming through but to be honest
00:39there are a lot of showers out there as well. And through the day as the sun gets to work
00:44they'll
00:44develop inland. Some of these will be heavy like the last few days with the risk of thunder and hail
00:51particularly for England and Wales through this afternoon. The wind's still coming in from the
00:55north with quite a strength to it so exposed to that northerly wind it's going to feel rather
01:00chilly the north coast of Northern Ireland, northern, northeastern, northwestern areas of Scotland down
01:05this east coast as well. And these showers inland could be slower moving merging to form a longer
01:11spell of rain from time to time. Temperatures struggling 10 to 14 degrees Celsius. And the distribution
01:17of these showers continues across most parts through this evening and again if you are travelling
01:22you may run into a heavy one. Through this evening and overnight though notice we'll find those showers
01:28tending to fade away. Still a few in the mix and then this low pressure system here is bringing cloud
01:34and rain down the eastern side so we could see some showers into Friday morning across eastern parts of
01:40England, northeast Scotland. Inland, in shelter we could see a touch of frost certainly a chilly start to the day.
01:47A bit more cloud across central and eastern areas of England again with some showery rain and that wind
01:52will be strong through the morning easing somewhat during the afternoon. However, some brighter skies
01:59coming through. Any showers across the bulk of the country will be fairly scattered as these showers
02:05across more southern areas tend to clear. Temperatures then possibly a degree higher towards the south,
02:1114 or 15, 11 or 12 further north. Now through Friday evening and overnight still one or two showers in
02:18the mix but some drier skies, some clearer air and that will allow temperatures to drop quite quickly.
02:25So we could see some late sunshine to end the day on Friday evening. So those showers associated with low
02:32pressure which sits towards Denmark though. The winds will tend to lose their sting through into Saturday
02:38morning and that means a quieter start to the day. But notice on Saturday the cloud will thicken from the
02:44west.
02:45It will bring the chance of some showery rain by lunch time across Northern Ireland and western Scotland.
02:51A few showers elsewhere but some brighter skies coming through and then it turns showery on Sunday
02:57but we won't see the intensity of those showers relative to the last few days and certainly how we are
03:03likely
03:04also to see this afternoon. I'll see you later. If you need more details on the 10 day trend check
03:10it out this week.
03:11It's with Annie.
