Cat Fight Turns Street War! Neighbours Clash Over ‘Kitten Controversy’ in Bengaluru

A bizarre neighbourhood dispute in Seshadripuram escalated into a tense confrontation, forcing police intervention after an argument over pet cats spiralled out of control.

The incident began when a resident’s male pet cat allegedly impregnated a neighbour’s female cat. The situation took a turn after the female cat gave birth to four kittens, with its owner blaming the neighbour and confronting them over the issue.

What started as a verbal disagreement quickly escalated into a heated argument, with both sides exchanging abuses.

According to police, tensions peaked when the agitated owner of the female cat allegedly picked up one of the newborn kittens and threw it near the neighbour’s house, further inflaming the situation.

The commotion drew the attention of other residents, as both families continued arguing, refusing to back down. The kittens were reportedly left distressed during the chaos.

Following the escalation, the owner of the male cat alerted the police. A patrol team from Seshadripuram police station reached the spot and brought the situation under control after counselling both parties.

Police confirmed that no formal complaint has been filed so far. However, both sides were warned against escalating trivial issues and advised to maintain peace in the locality.
