“Likes Over Life?”: Pregnant YouTuber Vaishnavi Murdered by Husband Over Viral Videos Row

In a shocking incident in Telangana’s Jagtial district, a woman YouTuber, Vaishnavi, was allegedly murdered by her husband Haribabu in Korutla Mandal, police said.

The incident took place in Madapur village, where the accused reportedly stabbed Vaishnavi to death following a domestic dispute. She was pregnant at the time of the attack, adding to the gravity of the crime.

Dispute Over Social Media Content:
According to police investigation, the couple had been creating videos portraying Haribabu in an alleged extramarital affair. Investigators are probing whether these videos were made purely to gain views or had another motive.

Reports indicate that Haribabu had repeatedly objected to such content, claiming it was damaging his reputation. Police suspect that frequent arguments over these videos escalated tensions between the couple.

Love Marriage Turns Tragic:
Vaishnavi, a native of Madapur, had met Haribabu through YouTube. Their relationship turned into a love marriage about two years ago, despite opposition from Haribabu’s family. The couple had been living at Vaishnavi’s parental home since then.

Fatal Attack:
On the night of the incident, a quarrel reportedly broke out between the two. During the altercation, Haribabu allegedly attacked Vaishnavi with a knife, killing her on the spot, before fleeing the scene.

Investigation Underway:
Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused. Family members of the victim have demanded strict punishment, alleging that Vaishnavi was killed unjustly.
