00:00I kind of threw out the question, and I think it's a question that some of you have had.
00:05Like, we've received your questions.
00:07Wherever you send us engagement, whether that's our text line or YouTube or Twitter or calling us or whatever,
00:13I know that on some level there is Kaminga fatigue.
00:17And whether that's as a subject matter or if your emotions and anger are still wrapped up in it,
00:24but I started it by throwing out the idea, when are we going to get over this?
00:29And I want to be very careful to present that in the way that I mean it,
00:33because it is a rhetorical question.
00:35It's not like, hey, when do you think we're going to get?
00:38I get July 19th.
00:40It's more like, hey, y'all, when are we going to get over this?
00:44And what I would say is, if I submit to you that the Warriors done messed up,
00:52and you can take that however you want.
00:55They didn't play him enough.
00:56They mis-evaluated him.
00:58I'm more like, I don't mind if you want to trade the guy,
01:02but how about not at its absolute lowest value to where what you receive in return
01:07is education on the POTS syndrome.
01:11Which is not nothing.
01:13That's what we've gotten out of this so far.
01:16He played against Boston and hit a three or two or something like that.
01:20I don't know.
01:21That's what we've gotten so far.
01:22So it's a bad look.
01:23We all agree.
01:26But I do think, and maybe today's not the day, and maybe next month's not the month.
01:32I don't really know.
01:33But I just, I hear so much of an angry fan base right now, and fingers getting pointed in my
01:44mind in spots that are a little unfair.
01:47I mentioned POTS earlier.
01:49You don't have to be a fan, but the guy is taking some unnecessary strays.
01:54I would imagine if we're being fair, we could all agree.
01:58He didn't do this.
01:59And he shouldn't be a part of the Kaminga conversation.
02:01He shouldn't have then.
02:03He shouldn't now.
02:04I agree with that.
02:05And he takes strays, and he also takes direct hits.
02:08Because there's a lot of the criticism that isn't about J.K.,
02:12but in light of the J.K. saga that ended, now POTS still being here,
02:17some people look at it and go, oh, he gets to stay.
02:20And J.K., I mean, he's better than POTS.
02:22You're right.
02:23Yeah.
02:23And yet he's now a Hawks.
02:25And then there's the Draymond-Steve Kerr dynamic is what I would call it,
02:29which is people who, and this is more, I think, about Draymond,
02:32his play has clearly fallen off.
02:34He's been miscast on a team that right now doesn't have Steph Curry.
02:39And Steve Kerr is running a system that has been wildly successful,
02:43and one could argue that it has expired, but they're still trying.
02:48Like, to me, those are the things you can say are wrong with the Warriors right now.
02:54And you collectively put them all together and add in some injuries,
02:58and you get this situation.
03:00I find those to be, like, mistakes, yes, but they're not, like, backbreakers.
03:06I hate this human.
03:08Get him out of here.
03:09Kind of an angry streak.
03:11And I just think if you're, I don't know, man, if you're a fan of the Warriors,
03:18on some level, you got to get over this at some point.
03:23At some point, but we're not even near that point because you had the breakup,
03:27and the person with whom you broke up is out there gallivanting around
03:32and having the time of his life, and he's on highlight reels,
03:35and he is absolutely feeling free, and you are at home with a box of tissues
03:40sobbing and blowing your nose and watching The Notebook.
03:44And it's because right now what you thought you were going to get out of the breakup,
03:48you haven't gotten it.
03:49You've gotten about 17 minutes of the player that you went to acquire,
03:54and all your friends are basically saying, dude, why'd you break up with him?
03:58Like, why couldn't you make it work?
04:01You see how happy they are, and you see what they're doing out there,
04:04and you're here, and you're miserable, and it's not working.
04:08What would your therapist tell you?
04:09Your therapist would tell you to get over it.
04:12It's about you.
04:13You need to heal yourself.
04:14Don't worry about social media and how Kaminga's got the ha-ha and how he's dunking on people.
04:20Don't worry about Dominique Wilkins.
04:22Just worry about improving yourself.
04:25Dominique Wilkins.
04:26I've never been to therapy, so I'm just guessing.
04:29You've never been to therapy?
04:30Nah.
04:30Like, not even once?
04:31No.
04:32No.
04:32Really?
04:33Yeah.
04:33That's interesting.
04:35I mean, tell somebody my feelings.
04:38I mean, oh, I'm so sad.
04:41I feel so unfulfilled.
04:43You do it with me all the time.
04:44We talk all the time about stuff.
04:46Right.
04:46I know you, and you're not on the payroll, so.
04:49I could be.
04:50I should probably get about $175 an hour to talk with you.
04:53I mean, honestly, if we want to play that game, Valachie might be pretty even.
04:58You should probably make about $350 an hour.
04:59Yeah.
05:00I thought about therapy, but, I mean, now it's too late.
05:04It's never too late.
05:04I got 57 years to unpack.
05:06Yeah, but you probably got another, you know, 30.
05:09Got another 30 burger.
05:11I mean, maybe.
05:1120 burger.
05:12I don't know how you look at it.
05:13You might have a 40 burger left.
05:14I don't know.
05:16What do you mean it's too late?
05:1720 seconds on therapy.
05:18It's never too late.
05:20Well, I'm not telling you to go to therapy.
05:21You can tell me that, but.
05:23But it's never too late.
05:25I mean.
05:25You still have today and tomorrow, don't you?
05:27The cost-benefit analysis of all the stuff I'd have to unpack.
05:31Yeah.
05:32I'm looking at a 57-year stint on the couch.
05:35Yeah, but you might find it pretty freeing.
05:39Believe me, I've put up my roadblocks to therapy.
05:41I think it's a very male thing to do.
05:43Yeah.
05:43I think I'm going to go talk to somebody I've never met before about this kind of stuff.
05:47Like, it's not going to help and cost and all.
05:49Like, I've had all those.
05:50It's not for everyone.
05:51No, it's not.
05:52If people get a lot out of it, I've got some people close to me that go.
05:55My only thing is, I would be a little bit cynical about getting upsold.
06:01Like, we're going to go ahead and string you out a little bit longer.
06:03We've got some more stuff to resolve here.
06:05I'm sure that happens, I would imagine.
06:10But, you bail any time.
06:12There's no contract.
06:13Yeah, I've already bailed.
06:15It ain't like, everything's a player option.
06:18With the therapist.
06:19And the good ones are probably more expensive than the hacks.
06:22Yes.
06:23So, I'm going to find somebody for $29 an hour, first hour's free.
06:26No different.
06:27No different than anything else we do.
06:30Exactly.
06:30You know what I mean?
06:31You want good seats at the game?
06:32It'll cost you more.
06:33You want organic spinach?
06:35It's more than this, just the garden variety.
06:37Go over to Whole Foods, get your little Amazon QR code out.
06:40That's going to cost you.
06:42It's going to cost you.
06:43That's why I see you in the aisles.
06:44Yeah.
06:46Won't see me on the couch.
06:48Therapy.
06:49Enjoy it.
06:49All right.
06:50You're listening to 95.7 The Game.
06:53Enjoy it.
06:55Knock yourselves out.
06:57Therapy.
06:57Enjoy it.
06:58And do you lie down?
06:59Oh, yeah.
07:00I mean, no.
07:01Okay.
07:01No.
07:02No.
07:02Are you allowed to?
07:03Yeah, you'd probably do whatever the hell you want.
07:05All right.
07:06That's kind of all.
07:07Like, yeah, maybe some people do.
