Grandi & Dibs contemplate what Giants should be on the trading block with the deadline coming up and wonder when LeBron will make his Free Agency decision.
Transcript
00:00Welcome back, Willard and Dibs. No Willard, it's Dibs and Grandy with you here on a Tuesday.
00:05We're going to get to LeBron, the latest from Rich Paul.
00:09Do we have to?
00:10Yeah, we do.
00:12Okay.
00:12We do.
00:13Everybody's terrible.
00:14Yeah, yeah.
00:15It's like trying to get my four-year-old to eat vegetables. Do I have to?
00:19Yes, Myla.
00:21Myla, you do?
00:22I love tomatoes.
00:24Yeah, tomatoes are good. It's a fruit, but I'll allow it.
00:26I love Richie and Queens' accent.
00:28Yeah, he called earlier.
00:30I feel bad. I definitely cut him off, but we just had to get back on the baseball.
00:34I guess. I mean, he could have gone for another 15 seconds on the golf.
00:37Yeah, I probably should have let him.
00:39Sorry, Richie.
00:40Normally, Richie, all you want to do is talk baseball.
00:42I was shocked when you went off baseball to talk golf.
00:46That DeChambeau thing, it was a thing.
00:50Oh, yeah, the DeChambeau one. Yeah, absolutely.
00:52I also told you there's no doubt he was going to continue to play.
00:55He could threaten to not play all he wants.
00:57He's going to play any play.
00:58Yeah, he came back and he didn't play great.
01:00I mean, he played well for a while.
01:02He was threatening.
01:03Then he had another one of those triple bogeys.
01:06Classic.
01:06Yep.
01:07Classic.
01:08Plus, we got to get to something related to Steph Curry and the Hall of Fame.
01:13We'll get to that a little bit later on as well.
01:16I did want to touch on one more thing before we got off the Giants and the trade deadline stuff,
01:22Dibs.
01:22We've been referencing this Jeff Passan piece on ESPN.
01:27Also, Kylie McDaniel contributed to it.
01:29But it's the top 2026 MLB trade deadline candidates.
01:36And I wasn't sure at first how these were ranked from one to 100.
01:40But I read the fine print during the commercial break.
01:43And the note that Jeff writes, Jeff Passan of ESPN says, players are ranked by total trade value with rest
01:51of season value as tiebreaker.
01:53So it's if you have, you know, multiple years left on your deal, you would be worth more and therefore
02:02you'd be ranked higher in this theoretical ranking by Jeff Passan.
02:06The tiebreaker is the rest of season value as tiebreaker, which is interesting that Louisa Rice, Dibs, is ranked number
02:1410 because what Jeff Passan is saying is that Louisa Rice is a very hot commodity.
02:21The 10th ranked player on Jeff Passan's trade list, a trade candidate list.
02:27And again, this is ranked by total trade value.
02:30He's only under contract through October, through September and into October, potentially, if he makes the postseason.
02:37And yet he's the 10th ranked player on this Jeff Passan list.
02:41One of the things that I've wondered for a while, Dibs, is what would Louisa Rice theoretically get you on
02:47the trade market?
02:48Because he's very likely to be traded and he's clearly having a fantastic season and a lot of teams would
02:54be interested in acquiring him.
02:56Those teams that are, you know, playoff caliber teams.
02:59But he's a rental and he doesn't hit for power.
03:02So what really would that get you?
03:04It feels like Jeff Passan is saying, well, that would get you a little something now.
03:07You get something kind of decent for Louisa Rice.
03:09Yeah, and that makes sense because even if you had a second baseman that you wanted to favor over Louisa
03:15Rice, for the most part, you could still have him be quite a pinch hitter coming off the bench.
03:22And just even if you look at some of the teams that he's targeting, the Rays, the Nationals, the Dodgers,
03:28the Yankees, Blue Jays, D-backs, Guardians, Pirates, that right there is eight teams.
03:34And so that gives you an idea that there are a lot of teams who fancy themselves still in the
03:40mix.
03:40And what Louisa Rice has done this year is what he always does, which is just get on base via
03:46the base hit every time.
03:47But also his defense has gone from liability to, like you said, possible gold glove candidate.
03:54He's been awesome.
03:54And then the other trade idea that we were mentioning, we mentioned that Casey Schmidt won.
03:59Casey Schmidt and Eric Miller to the Mariners for George Kirby.
04:02That was thrown out there by Jim Bowden of The Athletic.
04:05George Kirby, a solid right-handed starter for the Mariners.
04:09I'd be interested in a deal like that because it would get you somebody that you can use next year
04:15to become a much better pitching team.
04:17It would be painful to say bye to Casey Schmidt.
04:20The other trade on that article that featured the Giants, though, featured Louisa Rice to the Texas Rangers for a
04:28couple of prospects.
04:28The names don't really matter.
04:31You're not going to know them.
04:32Dalton Pence and Yulfram Castillo, a Venezuelan 19-year-old.
04:37The names don't really matter all that much.
04:39But just to look at the Rangers' farm system dibs and where these two players, their prospects, rank in their
04:46farm system,
04:47what Jim Bowden is saying is Louisa Rice maybe gets you something like Dalton Pence, who's the 12th-ranked prospect
04:53in the Rangers' system,
04:55and Yulfram Castillo, who's the 8th-ranked prospect in the Rangers' system.
05:00Overall, the Rangers' system is one of the worst in baseball.
05:03They're not like a top-10 farm system.
05:06But it's getting you two, you know, top 12-ish prospects, including one that's the 8th-ranked prospect in this
05:14theoretical deal.
05:15So maybe that's the baseline for what Louisa Rice would get you.
05:18Two lesser prospects, but a couple of guys you take a swing on and maybe one of them hit,
05:23and it becomes worthwhile by a wide margin.
05:26And what if, and this is a crazy hypothetical,
05:29but just playing off the fact that one of the teams mentioned was the Dodgers,
05:34and just looking at the Dodgers and their second baseman this year,
05:37they have woefully underperformed.
05:40You've had, you know, Miguel Rojas with a .758 OPS, who's been fine.
05:45Tommy Edmund was supposed to be the guy.
05:47He's been hurt, and Freeland's been hurt.
05:49What if you could trade a rise to the Dodgers and get back James Tibbs?
05:53Could you imagine?
05:55Where does Tibbs rank in the Dodgers' system?
05:58I'm not sure prospect-wise, but I'm just looking at his numbers.
06:01He's got an OPS of .967.
06:04He's got 21 home runs.
06:06He's driven in .72 in Oklahoma City in the PCL, and he's played in 90 games.
06:12He's a guy who has absolutely torn the cover off the ball,
06:15and Tibbs was their first-round pick, if I'm not mistaken, right?
06:19Yes, he was.
06:20From back in 2024.
06:22James Tibbs is the Dodgers' ninth-ranked prospect, according to MLB.com,
06:27so that could theoretically maybe fit the market that Jim Bowden laid out for Luis
06:32her eyes, although the Dodgers' system better than the Rangers' system,
06:36but there was also two prospects going from the Rangers to the Giants,
06:39so maybe something like that would be possible,
06:42which would be really, really funny if that were to play out that way.
06:45I mean, it's laughable and farcical, but you go, Tibbs goes to Boston in the Devers trade,
06:51and then Tibbs goes to L.A. in the trade that netted him that pitcher
06:55that only pitched a couple of games for Boston.
06:58Yeah, who was that?
06:59Oh, what's my guy's name?
07:01I forget.
07:02Yeah, I do too, and he was not very good, and then, you know,
07:05Tibbs goes to the Dodgers, and he immediately starts tearing it up,
07:09and so here we are back again.
07:11Dustin May.
07:12Yeah, thank you.
07:12Yes.
07:13Dustin May struggled, and then at the end of that year, he was gone,
07:16so Boston won the trade with the Giants for Devers,
07:19and then they promptly lost the trade by sending out Tibbs.
07:23They lost it in the aggregate by a wide margin.
07:25By a wide margin.
07:26They sent out Harrison and Tibbs, and so...
07:28And now they've won 14 games in a row.
07:30Right, and so, I don't know.
07:32Just as we're thinking about wild trade scenarios,
07:35and we're sitting here 13 days from the deadline, I believe it's...
07:38Yeah, Monday, right?
07:39Yep, it was two weeks from yesterday, so just a thought.
07:43You know, Louisa Rize, I do think, will be on the move,
07:46and you're looking to net something back,
07:48and I do think that James Tibbs III is somebody who will be ready
07:52to be a major leader next year.
07:54Yeah.
07:55Let's see.
07:56The trade deadline, Monday, August 3rd, 6 Eastern, 3 Pacific.
08:00So, Willard and Dibbs will be live on the air
08:03when the trade deadline comes, Monday, August 3rd, 3 o'clock Pacific.
08:08Oh, heck yeah.
08:08You can find it right here, of course, on 95.7 The Game.
08:11The 925 asks, why trade a known stud now for a prospect?
08:16Is it to get the money off the books?
08:21For the, I mean, the Willie Adamas, Matt Chapman,
08:25Rafi Devers conversation, I guess, theoretically,
08:28you could say it for that, not for Louisa Rize.
08:30You're trading Louisa Rize because you're not very good.
08:34You don't really have much use for Louisa Rize the rest of this season
08:38because you're not good.
08:39You're not going to the postseason, no matter how good he's going to be,
08:42and he's not under contract the rest of the season.
08:44So, you trade him to get something for him
08:47when he probably is going to walk and go elsewhere
08:50at the end of the season anyway.
08:52So, you're just recouping value on Louisa Rize
08:54that you probably won't get if you don't.
08:58It's as simple as that.
08:59You're not very good, and you trade away your guy that's expiring
09:01on an expiring contract.
09:02To get something back, and you could re-sign Louisa Rize
09:06and keep him, and that would be great,
09:07but then you're kind of stuck with the same old logjam
09:11of Casey Schmidt, he's an infielder,
09:13and Matt Chapman has a no-trade clause,
09:15and Willie Adamas has got a long contract.
09:18So, if you keep Adamas and Chapman and Arise,
09:22where does Casey Schmidt play?
09:24Because first base is locked as well.
09:26So, for me, it's either trade,
09:28you have to trade one of the four,
09:31Adamas, Chapman, Arise, or Schmidt,
09:34and Adamas and Chapman have no trade clauses,
09:37and Arise is expiring, and Casey is cheap.
09:39So, for me, it's an easy priority list to say,
09:42yeah, Arise would be the first one that you would want to trade.
09:45Yeah, you have to trade an infielder.
09:47You absolutely have to trade an infielder.
09:50There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
09:52It's probably going to be a rise.
09:54Maybe it's multiple, but it's probably going to be a rise,
09:57and that's the starting point,
09:58and not even including the pitching,
09:59and you're probably going to trade Robbie Ray as well.
10:01But we'll see how that all plays out.
10:04There is plenty more time to talk about that,
10:06as, again, we're 13 days away
10:08from the Major League Baseball trade deadline,
10:11August 3rd, Monday, August 3rd, 2026.
10:16Dibs, do you want to hear the latest on LeBron James?
10:19I've been dying to hear the latest, Mark.
10:21We're now on LeBron Watch.
10:24It's the 21st of July.
10:27Feels like we've all aged five years
10:29over the last three-plus weeks
10:31trying to figure this thing out.
10:33Rich Paul did the latest episode
10:36of his podcast with Max Kellerman,
10:40the Game Over podcast.
10:42Yes, he's not a guest on that podcast.
10:44It is a co-host situation.
10:47He and Max Kellerman co-host that podcast together regularly.
10:50You probably are just hearing it
10:52for the first time the last three weeks
10:54because Rich Paul has never been
10:57more in the news
10:58than during these last three weeks
11:00when LeBron James is making his decision.
11:03There's a number of things here from Rich Paul.
11:05The first one is how he talks about
11:07nobody knows what the hell they're talking about, Dibs,
11:10when it comes to LeBron's free agency.
11:12Here's Rich Paul.
11:14I'll say it again.
11:15None of these people know anything.
11:17Nobody knows nothing.
11:18And I say that respectfully
11:20because we haven't made it
11:23to where anybody knows anything.
11:24So I think it's important for people to understand
11:27we're not making this about attention
11:30and a spectacle.
11:32It's not about a decision or anything like that.
11:35He has a choice to make.
11:37He has a business choice to make.
11:38We're not going to sit here and decide
11:41or allow someone else to decide
11:42when he makes that decision or that choice.
11:45It's a business choice that he's making.
11:47And I think as an athlete,
11:49why is it that an athlete has to rush his choice?
11:53Okay, I want to answer that.
11:54Because from a business perspective,
11:55from a business perspective,
11:56you are making a choice between jobs,
12:00high-level jobs,
12:01and you've earned the right,
12:03you're a big-time executive.
12:04That's with an unbelievable,
12:07arguably the best resume
12:08in the history of your job.
12:11Who's rushing you?
12:12Nobody.
12:14Okay, Rich Paul says,
12:15first of all,
12:16nobody knows anything
12:18about LeBron's decision
12:20because we haven't told anybody
12:22about how LeBron feels
12:24and the decision that he's going to make
12:25because he hasn't made the decision yet,
12:28and it's his decision,
12:29it's a business decision,
12:31and we're not going to rush it.
12:33Latest from Rich Paul.
12:35Sorry, Granny,
12:36I buy that part of it,
12:38but the other piece of it is
12:40when he says,
12:42we're not doing this for attention.
12:44If you're not doing it for attention,
12:46then, I don't know,
12:47maybe you follow the DeMar DeRozan blueprint,
12:49because I think DeMar DeRozan
12:51is also a free agent.
12:52He is.
12:53And you haven't heard any podcast.
12:56I don't even know who his agent is.
12:58I'm not sure who the teams are
13:00who are the favorites to land DeMar DeRozan.
13:03So the whole idea of you not doing this for attention,
13:06well, then lay out.
13:08Go ahead and, you know,
13:09as Grandy would say,
13:10shut up!
13:11Shut up!
13:12That's right,
13:12but they won't,
13:14nor should they,
13:15nor do they have to.
13:16Shut up!
13:17It's Bobby Brown.
13:18It's their prerogative.
13:19He can have a podcast,
13:21and he's had a bunch of them,
13:22and LeBron did that live interview,
13:25not live,
13:26but with Rich Kleiman
13:27back in New York last week,
13:29and you've got Shams coming out every day.
13:32I don't know if Shams had a PTO day today.
13:34I don't know if he took the day off,
13:35and Windy,
13:36and all the rest of it.
13:38And so,
13:38yes,
13:39you have maybe the best resume
13:40in the history of your field,
13:42and you don't have to rush.
13:44I get that part of it.
13:45I'm with you.
13:47Many of us want you to rush,
13:48including Adam Silver.
13:49You don't have to,
13:51but the whole idea of
13:52he's not doing this for attention,
13:54well,
13:54then if he's not doing it for attention,
13:56then just go ahead and lay out,
13:58and when you decide,
13:59then let us all know.
14:01That's all.
14:02Yeah,
14:02I don't think the delay
14:05is necessarily
14:06for the attention aspect of it.
14:09I do think he is,
14:10I know Willard is dead set
14:12and has said this
14:13for a long time now.
14:14He knows where he wants to go.
14:16I think he has
14:17in his mind
14:19the way ideally
14:20he wants it to go.
14:21I'll put it that way.
14:23And if things play out
14:24the ideal way,
14:26then he has an easy decision
14:27to make in his mind.
14:28But not all things
14:30have happened just yet,
14:31so there's no decision
14:32to be made just yet.
14:34At least I think
14:35that's how LeBron feels.
14:37So I don't think
14:37it's necessarily
14:38at the heart of it
14:39is not an attention issue
14:41or an attention thing
14:43for LeBron.
14:44But in the meantime,
14:45while he's waiting,
14:46they're clearly saying,
14:48well,
14:48we're waiting.
14:50Our main motivation
14:51isn't the attention.
14:52We want LeBron
14:53to go to the right spot
14:55and we're going to give
14:55these teams time
14:57to make moves
14:58so that LeBron
14:59can go to the right spot.
15:00But while we're waiting,
15:01we might as well
15:02kill two birds
15:03with one stone
15:04and let's up
15:05the listenership
15:06on all of our podcasts
15:07and everything we do
15:08because we might as well.
15:09We're here.
15:10Let's go for the attention.
15:11Maybe it's not
15:12their number one motive,
15:13but they're clearly
15:13leaning into it.
15:14And it's July 21st
15:16and we talked about
15:17this yesterday
15:17about a bit
15:18of a sports desert
15:19and baseball is awesome
15:21and it's a great
15:22summer daily companion.
15:24It's a April
15:25to October companion
15:26and we love
15:27that about baseball.
15:28But the real actionable
15:30stuff for baseball
15:31is 13 days away
15:32of the deadline.
15:33World Cup is over.
15:34Championship golf is over.
15:35The rookies are in camp,
15:37but the vets aren't.
15:38So by the time
15:39we get to next week
15:40or I guess this weekend,
15:41you get some teams
15:42with their veterans
15:43starting to report.
15:44So we're starting
15:46to get football
15:46ramping back up.
15:48The football summer
15:49is ending
15:50and football teams
15:51are now getting ready
15:52to get back to it.
15:53You've got Debo Samuel.
15:55Rumors, I'm sure,
15:57as boy,
15:58I don't know
15:59if Brandon Iyuk
16:00has been putting out
16:00content of late,
16:01but he can't be
16:03too far away
16:04from more IG videos,
16:07but football is about
16:09to take the spotlight
16:11from the NBA free agency
16:13and I do think
16:14before that happens,
16:16LeBron James
16:16will miraculously
16:18come to a decision.
16:20Miraculously.
16:21It'll just be
16:22a coincidence.
16:23Right,
16:23because if you get to,
16:25you know,
16:25camp is rolling
16:26and now all
16:27of the big major
16:28TV networks
16:29and all the great
16:29radio shows
16:30like ours,
16:31we're going to be
16:31locked in on football
16:33and, you know,
16:35LeBron James
16:35won't have the same
16:36opportunity to capture
16:37everyone's imagination.
16:38Just imagine
16:39Shanahan takes the podium
16:40for the first time
16:41and he says,
16:43McCaffrey,
16:44limited,
16:44calf.
16:45Got to be delicate
16:46with those calves.
16:47I mean,
16:47just imagine
16:48the alarms
16:49that are going to go off
16:49when Shanahan says that
16:50for the first time.
16:51Trent Williams,
16:52vet day and stuff.
16:54Diomito Lenore,
16:55limited and stuff.
16:56We weren't able
16:57to get it done.
16:57You got to do
16:58a full injury report.
17:00You know,
17:00when he goes up
17:01to the podium
17:01for the first time
17:02before the pressure
17:03and he's,
17:04all right,
17:05injuries today,
17:06guys.
17:06Nick Bosa,
17:08limited,
17:08knee.
17:09You do your
17:10Shanahan so well.
17:11You just got to,
17:12I mean,
17:12I know it's rusty
17:13because it's July.
17:14Right.
17:14You got to get back
17:15into it.
17:16George Kittle,
17:16Achilles,
17:17limited.
17:18Brandon Ayuk,
17:19hurt feelings.
17:20He's out.
17:22Nick Bosa,
17:23knee maintenance.
17:24He'll be working
17:25on the side and stuff.
17:27Michael Williams,
17:28knee,
17:28limited.
17:30Fred Warner,
17:32haircut,
17:33limited.
17:34Trey Greenlaw,
17:35Achilles management,
17:36limited.
17:37I'll take your
17:38questions and stuff.
17:40I'm not a doctor,
17:41so.
17:42That's pretty good.
17:43Not bad.
17:43We'll get there.
17:44We'll get there.
17:44We'll get back
17:45into mid-season form.
17:46You got to get back.
17:46You got to get back there.
17:47We haven't heard him
17:48speak in a long time,
17:49so a little rusty,
17:50but we'll work on it.
17:52Yeah,
17:52I know,
17:52but you're right.
17:53That is going to become
17:54a major part of this show
17:56of talk shows
17:57across the world
17:58when training camp begins,
17:59when preseason games
18:01get here,
18:02when joint practices
18:03are happening,
18:04dibs.
18:04I personally can't wait.
18:06It's going to be so much fun,
18:07but if LeBron is trying
18:09to capitalize
18:10on as many eyeballs
18:11and ears as possible,
18:14this is the week to do it.
18:15There's no doubt about it.
18:16Looking at veteran report dates
18:18tomorrow,
18:18Arizona and Carolina.
18:21Then you get,
18:22I guess that would be Friday.
18:23The 24th would be
18:25the Patriots and the Seahawks.
18:26And then the 25th,
18:28the Rams and the Niners
18:29because they get to go
18:30to Australia and stuff.
18:31True.
18:32And so they get to report.
18:33And then the 28th,
18:34everybody else.
18:36Everybody else.
18:37So by the time we get
18:38to a week from today,
18:39Tuesday,
18:40everyone has reported.
18:41Everyone is in
18:42and it's football season,
18:43so he'll still,
18:45you know,
18:46get everyone's attention.
18:47Oh,
18:47of course.
18:47If he drops this thing
18:49on Thursday,
18:51Wednesday or Thursday,
18:53well,
18:53now you get Wednesday,
18:55Thursday,
18:55Friday,
18:56and then all the way
18:56into next Monday.
18:57And it's like,
18:57yeah,
18:58camp's reporting,
18:59but can you believe
19:00that LeBron James
19:01is a Phoenix Sun?
19:02Who could have seen
19:04that coming?
19:04No one saw that coming.
19:06Eric in Pano
19:08makes a good point
19:09on our text line,
19:10888-957-9570.
19:12Let's not forget
19:13the Tour de France
19:14is going into
19:15its third week.
19:15That's why LeBron's
19:17holding off
19:17on a decision
19:18of the Tour de France.
19:18And I wonder
19:19if you know
19:19who is in the
19:20Maillot Jean
19:21right now.
19:22Is that the
19:22yellow jersey?
19:24Look at Grandy.
19:25Look at Grandy.
19:25Do they call it jerseys?
19:27Yes,
19:28it's the yellow jersey,
19:28but I believe
19:29in French
19:30it's the Maillot Jean.
19:32I could be wrong
19:32He's an Italian.
19:34I have no clue
19:35who's in the lead.
19:37You don't know either.
19:38No,
19:38I enjoy the event
19:41and it's a great
19:42early morning
19:43popping on.
19:44It used to be on
19:46USA,
19:47now it's probably
19:47on the cock
19:49because everything
19:50goes on Peacock now.
19:52Uninitiated.
19:52Nothing like
19:53waking up at 6
19:54in the morning
19:55and seeing
19:56174 people
19:59when you get
20:01the crashes
20:01those are brutal.
20:02Yeah.
20:03You get like
20:0450 bikes
20:05all piled up
20:06at once.
20:06You can
20:07and I love the fact
20:08that the Peloton
20:09could be
20:096 minutes
20:10behind the leaders
20:11with 50 miles
20:13to go
20:14and they know
20:15full well
20:15that they're
20:16going to
20:16buy their time
20:17and you two
20:18little plucky
20:19riders who think
20:20you're going to
20:21steal the stage
20:22are coming for you
20:23now
20:23and eventually
20:24the Peloton
20:25will catch
20:26and usually pass
20:27those two guys.
20:28Still a European.
20:29I don't think
20:30I can name
20:30a single person
20:31participating
20:32in the Tour de France.
20:33I think the only person
20:33I could ever name
20:34was Lance.
20:35Yeah.
20:35I mean I couldn't
20:36right now
20:37but back in the
20:38Lance days
20:38I would
20:39I'd watch a little
20:40bit more.
20:41I actually famously
20:42lost a bet
20:42when Lance
20:43was coming back
20:44from his cancer.
20:46I bet
20:46the radio host
20:48with whom I worked
20:49way way back
20:50I said
20:50no way he wins
20:52and I said
20:53if he wins
20:54the Tour de France
20:54I will ride my bike
20:56from AT&T Park
20:58down to the Shark Tank
20:59Wow.
21:01Come to find out
21:02yeah
21:02here he comes
21:03here comes
21:04the American Hero
21:05so I lose the bet
21:07and so I show up
21:08at AT&T Park
21:09and the great Larry Olson
21:11we did a Christian
21:12morning show
21:12he was the host
21:14I was the traffic guy
21:15God loves you
21:16on 280 by the way
21:17so I'm getting ready
21:18to do this ride
21:20and in he comes
21:21bounding on his bike
21:22and so he and I
21:23rode from
21:24Oracle Park
21:25as it's now named
21:26to the SAP Center
21:2750 miles
21:28on our bikes
21:29How long did it take?
21:30It took about
21:31five hours
21:32and you know
21:33we did a couple
21:34of live radio hits
21:35and you know
21:36the six or seven people
21:36who listened to
21:37100.7 The Bridge
21:39we had some people
21:40like you know
21:41Hong Kong
21:42Jesus loves you
21:43and stuff
21:43it's kind of a fun day
21:45I'm going to
21:46absolutely mispronounce
21:47this guy's name
21:48but apparently
21:48the leader currently
21:49of the Tour de France
21:51is Todd
21:52Juan Jennings
21:53you love that
21:55pasta
21:56Tadej Pogakar
21:59nicknamed Poggy
22:00a Slovenian
22:01professional cyclist
22:0227 year old
22:03he's leading
22:04the Tour de France
22:05currently dibs
22:06okay
22:07go Poggy go
22:08I love it
22:09I'm absolutely
22:10butchering that name
22:11I know it
22:12but he's apparently
22:13leading the field
22:14at this stage
22:15that's why LeBron's
22:16delaying
22:17he needs to let
22:18Poggy
22:18take care of business
22:20and then LeBron
22:21will take over
22:22the media landscape
22:23yeah
22:24with football
22:25reporting's coming
22:26so I do think
22:28that because of that
22:29it's kind of a
22:31realization sensation
22:31for me
22:32it's happening
22:33before we get to
22:34Saturday
22:35you're locking that in
22:37I already locked in
22:38I think I locked in
22:39Wednesday
22:39you locked in
22:40Thursday
22:40or vice versa
22:41I think I locked in
22:42Wednesday
22:42then I must have
22:43locked in Thursday
22:44that's what I said
22:44yesterday
22:45although the
22:46events of today
22:47and we haven't
22:47played all of it
22:48we'll do more of it
22:49when we come back
22:50both Rich Paul
22:51and Dave McMiniman
22:52today
22:54seem to be saying
22:56maybe it's going to
22:57take longer
22:57than
22:59than we're expecting
23:00but
23:01I don't know
23:02who the hell knows
23:03what the hell's going on
23:04yep
23:06I just
23:06I just wanted
23:07I'm with you Steve
23:08I just want it to be over
23:09I do know that
23:10Miami is now in the lead
23:12on Kalshi
23:13I believe so
23:14it doesn't feel that way
23:15I mean
23:16Draymond
23:17you made your pitch
23:18you took him to
23:18Puerto Rico
23:19so
23:19committed to winning
23:21come on Draymond
23:22you're going to have to
23:22do a little bit more
23:24to get LeBron
23:25to choose
23:25the Golden State Warriors
23:27everyone has a personal agenda
23:28yeah and your agenda
23:29is to get LeBron here
23:31I agree with you
23:32okay
23:32there we go
23:32Cleveland still in front
23:34Miami second
23:35Golden State
23:36has fallen into third
23:37but they're ahead of Philly
23:39right
23:40yeah
23:40and Phoenix too
23:41alright
23:41Phoenix
23:44we're brought to you
23:45by Fremont Bank
23:46here for you
23:47here for good
23:48we'll let you hear more
23:49from Rich Paul
23:50plus that sound
23:51from Dave McMiniman
23:53it feels like
23:54at least the people
23:55in the know
23:56the people that should know
23:57are saying this might take
23:59a little bit longer
23:59than we were expecting
24:00which really is unfortunate
24:02because it's already
24:03taken so long
24:04we'll let you hear that
24:05and a whole lot more
24:06as we continue
24:07plus you're going to
24:08want to hear
24:08what the
24:09Naismith Memorial
24:11Basketball Hall of Fame
24:12has planned
24:13for Steph Curry
24:14yes
24:14for Steph Curry
24:15as he's still playing
24:17basketball in the NBA
24:18we'll tell you about that
24:19next as we come back
24:20it's Willard and Dibbs
24:21Dibbs and Grandy
24:22with you on 95.7 The Game
