As six adventurous Trinis took on the mountainous trails of Guadeloupe at the weekend in the 2026 Ultra Trail Guadeloupe.

The event into its twelfth year was contested over the last three days with the ultimate 100 kilometer event being the final of four major events.

Over five hundred participants from the Caribbean, France and other international countries braved the rigorous terrain.

00:32challenge some for the first time over different distances with a 10 kilometer
00:3725 kilometer 55 kilometer and the ultimate 100 kilometer race with
00:44elevations as high as 4,000 meters TNT's top male runner and five-time King of the
00:50Hill champion Michael honorary was visibly exhausted but despite suffering from
00:55cramps and being new to the terrain he finished third in the 55 kilometer in a
01:00time of 6 hours 54 minutes and 45 seconds while TNT's reigning Queen of the Hill
01:06Patricia Sarias managed a fifth place finish among the women in the 25
01:10kilometer in a time of 3 hours 37.04 also unfamiliar with the trails she finished
01:17behind four seasoned French women while TNT's Davika Harry finished 32nd in the
01:22same event as for the ultimate challenge of 100 kilometers there were two TNT
01:28participants in Clive Pillay who finished 34th in 22 hours 9 minutes and 10 seconds
01:34while Michael Ned was not too far behind in 37 spot in 22 hours 48.04 but Clive Pillay who's
