Four hikers are safe now after an intense overnight search operation in the forests near Edith Falls, Chaguaramas.

00:12says the distress call came in just before 7 p.m. on Thursday. Within minutes, emergency
00:20responders were mobilized, led by Hazemouth Officer Hernandez and supported by Officers
00:26Victor, Charles and Sombrano from the Santa Cruz Fire Station. Despite the difficult conditions,
00:33the officers pushed through, making every hour count. At around 6.03 a.m. Friday, the team reached
00:41the hikers, who were reported to be in good health. The Ministry praised the commitment and coordination
00:48of the search team and used the moment to remind the public when venturing into remote areas,
