00:00What took place a few days ago is the fact that a glass bottom boat pulled into the beach,
00:06unknown persons from onshore stormed the boat to attack somebody on board the boat.
00:12It's not the issue of a glass bottom boat to fight off intruders onshore.
00:16We do not carry weapons, so we don't have any way to fight off these people.
00:19So the best we can do is try to defend ourselves and our clients.
00:22Mr. Frank of Frankie Tours said the cutlass attack that occurred is bad for Tobago's tourism
00:29and the area should be regulated.
00:31But in the case where we are just doing our jobs and people from onshore is coming on board our boats with weapons,
00:38we can't resist this type of thing. It's too much.
00:42It's bad for tourism generally, but because anybody can go anywhere in Tobago and do anything,
00:47it seems like everybody can do what they want.
00:52People are walking around the street with weapons. People are cursing in the public anyway.
00:56People are just doing whatever they want and there's nothing to stop them from doing that.
01:00Frank said measures for the tourism sector must be instituted.
01:05First to begin, maybe there should be a restriction as who to come on the beach and how you can operate on the beach.
01:11For instance, I would like to see starting from the beach all the way out of the boats,
01:16where there should be zero tolerance on disobedience on any beach.
01:22You're not allowed to come there and curse. Somebody should apprehend you immediately.
01:27If there's tourists around the area and you curse, it should be even more fun.
01:30If you fight on the beach or you fight in the public place, also should be apprehended.
01:34People is allowed to get away with anything, anytime, without no problems.
01:40You know what I'm saying? And this has to stop.
01:42He said the operations of vessels at no man's land and the surrounding areas must be regulated.
01:49You cannot stop somebody who has a private boat to jump on and say,
01:52OK, I'm going to go to an island pool.
01:54You cannot stop people with a fishing boat to say, I'm going to go to no man's land.
01:58And I'm not saying that they should actually stop it.
02:01There should be some type of control as to who takes who.
02:04It's the same like doing an island tour.
02:06Anybody could jump out of their hotel or out of their bedroom and decide that they are tour guide.
02:11It's not supposed to happen.
02:13They should be trained to do the job.
02:15These are what is unregulated.
02:18The whole system, the country, needs to be regulated in a way that you can't just decide
02:23today for today, you're going to do this.
02:25I reached a group of tourists on the beach, man, they've had a nice conversation.
02:28I'm crying to them on a tour to the rainforest.
02:30You know it's not more the rainforest.
02:31What are you going to tell them?
