00:00As we take it farther north, two opportunities for snow in parts of the northeast.
00:04Neither of these are big ones, but there's potential for two rounds in the northeast this weekend.
00:08The first one will be moving over the next 12 to 18 hours here from southern Ontario
00:13right down into New York City and heading offshore by mid-morning on Saturday.
00:18It's going to bring us coding to an inch or two in some of these areas in the deep blue.
00:23Syracuse to Binghamton may be prime time for an inch or two with this,
00:28and then we'll see some snow showers move into New York City with probably a coding to a fraction of
00:32an inch there.
00:33Here it comes. We'll press pause at 1.30 a.m. Scranton and Wilkes-Barre up into areas around Binghamton
00:38facing the bulk of the snow. We'll see a little bit of this into areas around the Berkshires,
00:41and then that scoots through New York City by 6 or 7 a.m.
00:45We'll see a few flurries or snow showers into Long Island, and that'll be about it for that one.
00:51Then we turn our attention to the southern storm, the bigger one that Adam was tracking, and here it is.
00:55We're not far from snow on the northern side of the storm, Sunday at 3 p.m.
01:00Temperatures just warm enough for cold rain in most of these areas.
01:04We are actually, with our AccuWeather forecast, allowing for a little bit of snow there in western Maryland, eastern West
01:09Virginia.
01:10We need to keep a close eye on this. I know that this particular version of future radar and clouds
01:14indicated all rain.
01:16It's going to be close temperature-wise to a little bit of wet snow there in some of those areas.
01:20So Saturday, our New York City snow showers will be offshore, moving away after a few lingering at daybreak.
01:27Saturday afternoon, there's a couple of leftover flurries.
01:30Albany 38, New York City 45, Harrisburg 45, D.C. 56, and we have some snow showers up to the
01:35north.
01:36Pretty warm there in Louisville with some rain showers.
01:38Sunday, here's that storm system moving in from the south, and again, we've got to keep an eye out for
01:42the northern fringe of this.
01:43At worst, into Sunday night, we could see a little rain and snow mixed into New York City.
01:47Stay with us for more.
