00:00We got cold rain, steady rain falling, and if you head a little west of the city, you get into the ice and the snow northwest of the city right now.
00:08So again, overall, the back edge of precipitation moving through Connecticut, far eastern New York into areas like places near Troy and Rensselaer County,
00:18near the Massachusetts line, and then up into places like Maine, the snow continues to fall.
00:22Temperatures still a little nippy for most of us in the interior, but along the coastline, 42 in Richmond, 36 in Boston.
00:30But 26 in Portland, big difference there.
00:33Two coastal cities, both in New England, 36 versus 26, a 10-degree difference there from Boston heading north to Portland.
00:40Meanwhile, up into areas from Chicago to Green Bay, 19 degrees.
00:44Bundle up out there, it's a cold one.
00:46Overall, road surface tips you can see were below freezing in most areas northwest of Interstate 95.
00:50So even if you saw rain today as opposed to snow, you may have some refreezing in areas like Bethlehem, PA, and south of there.
01:00That is all maybe a mixed bag ending as rain.
01:02You can see some refreezing tonight.
01:03Top snow reports by state for the northeast, 8.6 inches in Beirston, New York, 8 inches in Damascus, Pennsylvania.
01:09And we're still going to see these numbers increase into Otis, Massachusetts, West Wardsboro, Vermont, 6 and 7 inches there.
01:17The snow is still coming down in those spots.
01:19So overall, we're going to wrap up this snow event here, probably ending in Bangor, Maine, maybe around 4 a.m. or so.
01:24But we're in the midst of a 6-plus-inch snow event there for some in southern New Hampshire.
01:29Tomorrow's going to be a quieter day, not as much action as the system exits, but we'll get ready for the next front to arrive from the north and west.
01:36It'll be an arctic front that is going to be a bit of a game changer, bringing cold into the mix.
