00:00Did you know you can swap STL files easily in Bamboo Studio? Here's how.
00:07This is the original model that was created in FreeCAD.
00:10To export it as an STL file, select the latest feature and go to File.
00:16Select Export and save it as an STL file.
00:22Then you can import that model in Bamboo Studio.
00:26Now let's change this model.
00:29Let's go back to FreeCAD and remove this center hole from the model.
00:33This was done by editing the sketch and deleting the circle.
00:40The center hole has been removed.
00:43To create a new STL file, repeat the same steps to export it.
00:48Then replace the original STL file.
00:52But when you go back to the 3MF file in Bamboo Studio, the same old STL file appears.
00:58Click on Objects to see which models are loaded.
01:02Then right click on the STL model and select Reload from disk.
01:09You see the hole disappeared because a newer version was loaded.
01:12So with this feature, you don't have to import the modified model again.
