00:00Here's how to merge two separate STL files into one assembly in Bamboo Studio.
00:15You see, there are two separate STL models on one plate.
00:20When you click on objects in this menu, you can see which models there are.
00:30Select both models while holding the CTRL key.
00:36Then select the Assemble tool.
00:40Select the first face. The color of this face is cyan.
00:44Then select the second face of the other model, which will become purple.
00:53Make sure the face and face assembly mode is selected.
00:58Then click on the center coincidence button.
01:02Click on the Assemble tool button again to exit it.
01:06You see the models are aligned with each other but not merged.
01:10Select the small model here in this menu.
01:14Then click on the Move button.
01:18When you want to drag it to the upside, it will always stick to the print bed.
01:23To fix this, the models should be merged first.
01:27Click on the Undo button until you get back where you started.
01:31Click on the Assemble tool button to exit it.
01:37Select both models while holding the CTRL key.
01:43Make sure you don't move the mouse before clicking right mouse button.
01:49Select both models again.
01:51Click on right mouse button and select Merge.
01:55Then select the Assemble tool.
02:01Then select the Assemble tool.
02:03And select both faces again.
02:07Click on the center coincidence button.
02:11Click on the center coincidence button and you see the small model is now on top of the other one.
02:19Click on the Assemble tool button to exit it.
02:23Here, you can select both models which are inside an assembly.

02:31Select the small model and click on the Move button.
02:33When you drag it to the upside, it will stick where it was moved to.
02:37It will not stick to the print bed anymore.
02:41Undo until it's on top of the big model again.
02:49You can drag the assembly to the position you want.
02:55You can also remove the assembly if you want.
02:59Select it and click right mouse button.
03:03Go to Split and select two objects.
03:09Now there are two separate models again.
03:13You see the assembly designation is also gone now.
