00:00Let's speed up this print, which comes straight from Maker World.
00:05Here, you see the colors that are loaded.
00:07Click on the preview tab to prepare the print with the current colors and settings.
00:12The total printing time is 8 hours and 33 minutes now.
00:17You see the arms and the nose have a slightly different color.
00:23The arms have color number 5 and the nose number 3, you can decide to let them both have the same color.
00:29Click on the three dots next to this color and select merge with.
00:33Then select the color of the nose, which is number 3.
00:38Click on the prepare tab and then on the preview tab.
00:43The arms will now have the same color as the nose.
00:46The total printing time is 8 hours and 11 minutes now, so this saves 22 minutes.
00:52Now click on the three dots next to the blue color and select delete.
00:58This color was not prepared in the model, so the printing time will stay the same.
01:05Click on the three dots next to color number 3 and select merge with.
01:10Then select the red color, which is number 2.
01:13To make the print more simple and quicker, the arms are also red now.
01:17The total printing time is now 6 hours and 7 minutes.
01:24To make it even more simple, merge the red color with black and prepare the print again.

01:33Of course this does not make the model more beautiful, but it can certainly be a choice to apply this, depending on your taste and how fast you want to print.
01:41Click on the black color and change it to red.
01:45Click on OK to apply.
01:48Prepare it and you see all black has been removed from the model.
01:53Click on the red color and choose more colors.
01:58Select the brighter red and click on OK twice.
02:01Prepare the model again and you see the printing time is 5 hours and 5 minutes.
02:07This is strange.
02:09The black and darker red colors had printing times of less than 5 hours.
02:14Now click on the global button to view your settings.
02:17Here you can choose to print with an increased layer height to reduce printing time.
02:27Prepare the model again and you see the printing time is now 4 hours and 12 minutes.
02:32Maybe not for everyone, but color changes are also an approach to shorten printing time.
