00:00Here are three nice Bamboo Studio tips. Let's start with tip number one.
00:05When you click on objects, you can select the model you want.
00:09Click the right mouse button on an object, and you see there's the option replace with STL.
00:18A quicker way is clicking the right mouse button on the model directly, and select replace with STL.
00:26Then you can select a model that's similar but modified, for example.
00:30The new STL will load into Bamboo Studio directly.
00:34You see the small holes are gone in this model.
00:38Instead of replace with STL, you can also choose reload from disk.
00:43Then the modified version of your current model will load directly in Bamboo Studio.
00:49Now let's change the model back to the original version.
00:58And here it is.
01:01The second tip is about previewing models.
01:06Sometimes you see the printing time is too long, then you can change the settings profile to one with thicker
01:12layers.
01:15Instead of clicking the Prepare and then the Preview button, you can also click directly on the thumbnail here.
01:25Let's change the orientation, and choose another settings profile.
01:33When you click Prepare and then Preview, the orientation will stay the same.
01:41But when you click on the squared thumbnail, the orientation resets.

01:49Go back to the Prepare tab.
01:52And go to others.
01:55Change Brim Type to Painted.
02:01Then select the Brim Ears button.
02:05Here you can auto-generate brims on specific positions only.
02:12Let's preview this.
02:13Then you don't have to print a brim along all sides of the whole model.
02:17Go back to the Prepare tab.
02:19And select the Brim Ears button again.
02:21Click Remove All to remove all brim ears.
02:27You can change several parameters and paint them yourself by clicking on the print plate.
02:37Use the Section View slide to get a better view.
02:48Let's preview this bigger brim ear.
02:52Brim ears can be used to save print time and material.
