The Ministry of Defence has issued a strong warning following reports of unauthorized drone activity near the nation’s two international airports.
It's now investigating who were the perpetrators.

00:00In a media release issued today, the Defense Ministry confirmed that drones were flown within the five-kilometer no-fly zones of both Piyako International Airport and the A&R Robinson International Airport.
00:14According to the ministry, objective verification contradicts claims that the drone operations occurred outside restricted airspace.
00:22The ministry describes the actions as reckless and dangerous, warning that drones operating near active flight paths pose a serious risk to incoming and outgoing commercial aircraft, with the potential for catastrophic loss of life.
00:37Officials also expressed concerns over attempts to capture and distribute footage of military installations and equipment, noting that such actions threaten national security and expose the country to serious risks.
00:50The ministry says investigations are underway to identify the so-called anonymous source responsible for the illegal drone surveillance, as authorities move to prevent further breaches and protect public safety.
01:03The Ministry of Defense has also warned that anyone who continues to defy the law will face decisive action by the state, including measures available under the current state of emergency.
