AccuWeather's Bernie Rayno takes a look at the snow and cold threat in the coming days for the central and eastern United States.
Transcript
00:00It is a winter wonderland, if you like snow, from the north-central U.S. all the way toward the mid-Atlantic, where we have a deep snowpack in place.
00:08And we're not done. We're tracking three more systems that will be pushing across the lakes and the northeast over the next couple of days,
00:17including the snow that we're tracking here tonight from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and into New England by tomorrow.
00:24There's another cold shot coming, then, as we get into Thursday and Friday.
00:29That is mostly going to be flurry. Shouldn't be a whole lot of snow with this across the Midwest and mid-Atlantic.
00:35But the caboose, the final cold shot, arrives this weekend.
00:40This is going to be some very cold air, January cold, a continuation of that, as we head into Sunday and Monday.
00:47And that cold shot could be accompanied by accumulating snow from the Midwest in the parts of the northeast.
00:56After that, the cold finally eases as we head into next week.
01:01But what a stretch of cold we've had to contend with.
