00:00Just as things quiet down, snow and ice return early next week from the mid-Atlantic to the
00:05Northeast, and it all begins late Sunday as we see what? Another injection of cold air. And this
00:12is true Arctic air. It's coming right from the Northwest Territories. So after a spring-like
00:18feel on Saturday, we're back to January standards on Monday. Then a dose of double trouble because
00:26we have two storms. Our first storm, Monday and Monday nights, taking more of a southern
00:30track across the Carolinas. There's going to be a cold rain with it, and on the northern
00:35side, some ice in that pink area, and there will be a band of snow. Doesn't look like a
00:41huge amount of snow, but certainly a coating to a few inches. That could cause some slippery
00:45travel Monday and Monday night. That storm leaves, but then we have a second storm. Now, this
00:51storm takes a farther north track. Warmer air will overrun that cold air, at least in the
00:56mid-Atlantic states. That pink area is where we have snow and ice, or at least the potential
01:01for that. The southern areas, you'll start with snow and ice that goes over the rain,
01:06but the farther north you go, the more likely it stays snow and ice, the more likely there's
01:11accumulation, and the longer the travel headaches will continue.
