00:06video I'm gonna be doing nothing nothing you know today I'm gonna be
00:14really interesting sequel but I'm gonna be really quiet please to know we wanted
00:23to start this film that's gonna do it quick waiting on the first one to the
00:28fact that it is relevant and about the sequel okay I didn't really like a full
00:34video on it so I felt it would be unnecessary so I decided I'll just put it
00:40right here quickly like the first film it was basically about this parents who
00:48and struggling to survive in a much of this who's apocalyptic world where you
00:54have these alien-like creatures but this is a weird sense of hearing okay long
01:02story short the film this supposedly a horror film but it's not really that
01:08scary it's very well made of very well acted very well directed everything is
01:16very good about the movie seriously very good about the movie except for like a
01:21minor thing and that is the film isn't really scary and it is for one apparent
01:28reason but the film gave away the monster to begin the movie you know because it
01:35wanted to accept the tone for the film because it'd be like a crime delivered and you know the whole team of the
01:42movies you cannot make any sounds loud sounds because you could have a monster come
01:49after you and that's a whole premise of the film is you you're under the impression that you can get killed at any moment so you have to be always on guard and I really like that premise right
02:03it's a really good premise it allows a lot of suspense a lot of tension and a lot of really good moments but at the same time
02:11it is done in a way that sacrifices the horror element and with that being said it's not really that scary although it is very well
02:25suspenseful and it has moments that could probably give you a jumpscare I will give it to them right so yeah the film no grain across the board
02:36I would rate that a 8.7 out of 10 ish
02:43no it wasn't for the opening of the film it probably have gotten a 9 way higher to be honest right but it's it's good
02:51great it's a great movie right now that being said on to the sequel quiet place 2
02:59now the reason why I felt the need to talk about the first film before talking about this film is because this film
03:06it's one of those rare sequels that actually probably does as good as the first film in my opinion even though some of the reviews on people who talk about the film so far have acknowledged the first film is better I think this film
03:26in my humble opinion is probably just as good or even better than the first and the reason why I say it is because earlier I said the first film is a horror film right that's what it's described as right and I said that it's not really that scary given you know how it starts off right this whole premise
03:33not the second film not the second film it actually went in a more I'd say more actiony sort direction you know it has a slightly bigger budget and there's more set pieces more exploration and there's more
03:48going on there's something going on there's something going on there's something going on there's something going on here and it also they give you a bit of a backstory as to what happens you know like how the
04:00breakout actually began which is really interesting and they do it briefly you know like what happened which is interesting
04:19they do it briefly though they didn't spend a lot of time doing it, and then they get into the current day with what's going on and it's well shot really
04:26and it's well shot well edited and some of the scenes it's a bit on the slow side
04:37but for the most part it's done very well and when you get to the current day which is
04:44continued from the first film what happens here is that you have you know the lady and
04:51the children who are a little bit older and now they have to venture off and they find
05:00a highlight with a new character played by cillian murphy who in my opinion was actually very good
05:08here in this one and it was like expand where you get a bit more backstory you get a little bit more
05:15stuff over the characters and then you get to find a little bit more about you know the whole
05:22law in this place and beyond where did this one family was you get to see more and here you actually
05:32get to see the side characters shine you know the daughter who is a speaks of sign language and she
05:42uses so like um piece in the airs she actually stands out more here and then you also have her
05:51brother please also have this little thing where he can't really like here i think like both of them
06:00have their disabilities so that they interact using sign language and you actually see more performances
06:06from them like they stand out when it comes to acting as opposed to the first film where it was very much
06:14on emily brunt's acting and like she was definitely probably awards worthy for that performance in the
06:23first film but here it's cillian murphy and melison simmons those are the standard performances in this movie
06:32in my opinion and yes digimon also makes an appearance in this movie although it's very briefly sad to say the
06:43man can't get any leading roles but he's always good when he makes his uh appearances nonetheless right
06:53now with that being said this film like i said it's in my opinion a little better than the first one because
07:01like i said the first film everything was done right aside from the opening i think it sort of like
07:10lost me there with that and but still tried to play itself was as a horror film when it really couldn't do
07:20it because of the new way it premise plays out it's more of each other this film it it embraces that
07:29element of true and suspense more so and it actually works out better you know it's not trying to be
07:40much of a horror even though it's classified as a horror film for some reason but this how they say
07:46those people who are saying this is how this isn't a horror game it's a trailer it's a bit of action
07:52so you know more suspense yes and like i said very well active i think the acting is better here the
08:02directing is better cinematography is better soundtrack is better and on top of that the pacing is very well
08:13this is barely a hour and a half okay you don't see moves this short being this good unless if you're
08:25looking at maybe at all films and this in some ways has all that elements in the world time like slower
08:34pace scenes and such but it's definitely not that it's more of a mainstream film even and it also has a
08:45much bigger budget than the first film which was no budgeted this one is still low budget and it works
08:52it actually works it was very weird to see a sequel like this be better than the person happening
09:00overall i have to sum it up i have to rate this on 8.8 ish out of 10 i wouldn't have given it a 9 and above
09:11if the film had a more better um ending because like the first film this film it ends abruptly you know
09:22after the um to act like it doesn't actually have much of an ending which i find which in some ways i can
09:29actually see being a good thing you know it could actually make be a good way to set up more
09:37suspense which have more interest for the sequel which this is definitely going to get a sequel
09:43given how it ends but i still felt like it could have used an actual proper ending in my opinion
09:51especially compared to the first one the first one actually ended off
09:54very well if you were missing the first one had a very great ending but i felt that this film could have
10:04been better than ending um but that being said that's probably the only criticism i think i have
10:09with this one to be honest um other than that i think this film is very much a great movie overall and
10:19very much worth recommending especially given the wrong time right but anyways guys that's pretty
10:26much my opinion on this from a quiet place two and a quiet place one let me know what you guys think
