00:00in the first race yeah gates drop here we go looks like jetson and jetson finds some prowess

00:10and he takes the milwaukee hole shot as well stewart up the inside of him and stewart looking

00:15to make a move in turn two and he goes so wide there he got spooked in the turn he had flashbacks

00:22of tom vial launching back up the inside of him yeah this is kind of what i mentioned before it

00:28just his first lap intensity just has not quite been there and and luckily for him it hasn't really

00:34needed to be but uh we'll see if anything changes with 13 minutes to work with you know hunter yeah

00:41you think that first main event just maybe took the wind out of jet sales just all of it like yeah

00:45maybe just took the edge off a little bit i know i don't know oh over jump there for hunter as well

00:50and again rough rough rhythm for a hunter there but closing in yeah so mookie leads hunter lawrence

00:56second jet lawrence in third web in fourth is down his way past cedric subaras who's now in fifth place

01:02then vial grace kind of remember reminds me of australia last year for them where just nothing

01:08seemed to kind of go right yeah nothing smooth

01:14but mookie yeah that doesn't take anything away from the ride that malcolm's had i mean this has been

01:19master class with him absolutely on fire tonight loves the whoops getting on top of them better than

01:25anybody else okay he's got like uh eight tenths of a second over hunter lawrence but the race is still

01:30young eight eleven and a half minutes plus a lap this one is only just getting started jet lawrence

01:36potentially just getting warmed up as he homes in on brother hunter on the number 96 honda

01:42webb into fourth but uh how far back is he a couple seconds there he is in red closing in on the number

01:4718 so uh this might be the best race of the night for cooper web if he can maintain that kind of pace

01:53guys yeah i agree yeah it's it's still early you know as far as this race goes um

02:01you see just see jet he misses the triple there it just i not used to seeing sloppy jet that's it's

02:07really what it has been mistakes gets a start moves immediately to third stuart will be leading on three

02:15hunter second cooper webb third sub and jet fifth at the moment tied

02:24that 11 points difference between stew and uh

02:28speaking of betty you could have made a lot of money if you had laid down the hunter uh

02:31some money on malcolm's room one one one tonight here in paris incredible great great work you can see

02:37jet like right there like just that's just yeah no sharp at all as jt was mentioning yeah and you guys see

02:43him on a regular basis so you you know you know when we've seen him here and uh you know win two

02:48years ago and obviously dominate five races and still lose last year you know it's definitely a

02:53different jet i just wonder yeah that he's had two crashes one in time practice in the in the super

02:58pole yeah when he went down on that shoulder and you know okay he tried to save it as long as possible

03:03so maybe the impact wasn't that bad but then obviously getting caught in that uh turn two incident with

03:08tom vial which was completely uh a racing incident you know and a bad move on well not a bad move

03:14it was an oj wasn't it from uh tom vial in the end that just took them both out or took jet out

03:19and you say jt you mentioned wind in the sails for for jet lawrence it's pretty much what it was you

03:25know you fight your way through and you're already thinking man you know yeah it would be nice to win

03:30don't necessarily need the title king of paris but you just want to win the overall event you know and

03:34to do that you need to be up there fighting from the beginning and eighth in race one and then you

03:40know third in race two or whatever and you know you're already chasing it now maybe we're just

03:45seeing a a different jet just trying to get through the weekend now who knows well and i think what he

03:49would be frustrated with is things just haven't gone smoothly then you finally get the start in race

03:55three and you immediately are pushed to third and you have to chase them down again right it's it's just

04:01being sharp and executing when the opportunity arises and that's normally what he thrives on

04:05he when opportunity arises he takes absolute advantage of it and capitalizes and he has been

04:10the exact opposite of that so far this weekend yeah we mentioned it in the previous race where

04:14all of a sudden from out of nowhere he can find two seconds and then that momentum just keeps pushing

04:18him forward yeah you know he doesn't have the elite pace right like he's not setting the quickest

04:24laps he and it's just you don't know if it's you know it's hard to analyze exactly what's going on in

04:30november but maybe he hasn't been riding a lot maybe you know there could be a myriad of things

04:35but this is not the same jet warrants look that has won him multiple championships i can promise you

04:41that pulled four tenths on cooper that left jet did so he put together a little better left but still

04:46the third under best yeah right over it yeah malcolm was faster than him too so absolutely and still eight

04:54minutes to go we've got to write it down in the whoops a couple corners from where these guys are now

04:59picking himself up oh that's roman pep he's had a rough couple of mains here last last in the

05:03second main and now down in the whoops we kind of talked about how this race can be a way to gauge

05:10yourself and you just wonder it does you know jet oh we got jet down jet down on the entry just been one

05:19one of those days yeah for the number 18

05:24shaking his head did he wash out coming into that first whoop because it's right at the beginning of

05:29the whoops there would have had to lose the front maybe to lose the rear i mean obviously lost traction

05:34no matter what marshall welton's down getting up marshall's on a had a good ice build great main event

05:39going there he was seven for a while so yeah down to ninth and then obviously uh going to pick himself

05:44up losing another couple of positions malcolm stewart though and jet lawrence had just set the fastest

05:48lap last time around as well 45.3 and uh so maybe just starting to push but we've mentioned it as

05:55we mentioned it every year actually the dirt here when it starts to uh you know there's a little bit

06:01of moisture comes up overnight there's uh yeah and i'm watching him down here off screen speaking with

06:08his mechanic and he did the prototypical lost the front end maneuver there coming out of the corner

06:13so i what i was starting to say right before he crashed was this race can be a gauge for a lot of

06:18things and you just wonder for jet you know with johnny amara all the people in his program his father

06:23darren gonna be like hey we have some work to do like that that wasn't the weekend we needed to have so

06:31uh maybe it's maybe it is a kind of wake-up call focus wise going into the rest of the offseason how

06:36dangerous is that then for the competition you know moving forward because uh you know an angry

06:40jet yeah you've seen him like when he's uh not happy with how things are going and all of a sudden

06:45he turns it around and turns it around like already impressively he's gonna need a good heavy off

06:50season he's got an australian race in seven days yeah that'll be interesting to see if he can turn

06:54around there or even if he maybe maybe doesn't even line up if there's an issue with shoulder or anything

06:59else but a good battle here on screen right now between two french heroes we mentioned in the

07:04beginning of the day didn't we uh jt in terms of uh who is the favorite uh french rider is it

07:09super s because of his 450 experience or is it tom vial even with his skill set first time out on a

07:14450 and you said super s may be a little bit long in the tooth and is that evidence right there as uh

07:19vial nips up the inside gains the position moves into fourth yeah i mean just think uh you know caliber

07:24of racer vial certainly takes the nod mx2 world champion two times too many supercross champion like

07:31those those speak for themselves uh but soups is a force to be reckoned with at this race period

07:37so it doesn't shock side down the other warrants is that hunter down yeah so hunter's upside down in

07:43the whoops and uh slow to pick himself up there he's taking a bit of a beating by the bike oh that's

07:47terrible to see so uh not in a hurry to get up hunter lawrence

07:51well we haven't seen this in a while maybe ever i mean this was this is a1-esque 2025 right like

08:01well right now but we have 200 we got the lawrence yeah no no i'm just saying but this type of like

08:06what's going on type performance yeah absolutely well mook is going to come around here and he's going

08:11to see hunter lawrence there who was behind him a minute ago so that puts uh cooper webb up in the

08:17second tom vial is going to be in the third yeah hunter's uh he's up on his little beat up over

08:23there i was gonna say he's up on his feet he's trying to track track back you know

08:29i that crash reminds me of anaheim 2 2022 huge whoops and kind of over the front type thing

08:37hate to see that boy watching vial and suits right now i have a lot of respect for cedric super ross he

08:43gives these uh american ringers a lot of problems here every year uh he's a great rider really nice

08:48guy uh very underrated i was made a comment to somebody that has he ridden every bike brand and

08:53everything now just about right now he's on a honda i mean i've seen the guy two strokes here

08:58yeah i've seen him on uh four strokes everything yeah cedric super ross got a lot of uh a lot of parts

09:04in his car a lot of rear sprockets no one cares he'll make a good test rider yeah yeah no one cares about

09:09my racing but when i stopped racing germany he kind of took the torch yeah like he was the guy

09:15that was when i left he was doing all the winning yeah the lord's getting some attention yeah eric

09:19perron down there as well having a quick word with him and uh yeah but look at this though for uh malcolm

09:25stewart stayed out of trouble got to the front early both races prior to this one he's done the same in

09:30race three and uh the head of the course there as it says on screen three and a half minutes ago 12 second

09:37lead for malcolm stewart over cooper webb a little bit of help yeah a little bit of help with that but

09:42boy how the turns have tabled here yeah geez the turns have tabled yeah perfect

09:54yeah wow you gotta wonder if we'll see hunter tomorrow i'm just glad to see him walking off yeah

09:58honestly turn around and um yeah

10:01it's gonna be a warrants regroup meeting here in about an hour i think lars is uh really wishing

10:09he would have been here family meeting yeah so malcolm stewart rockstar energy husvana he has been

10:16pretty much meticulous he's been edge perfect all night cornering like he's on rails just nailing

10:20everything it's looking like he's on a training run um sort of mid-season training run where everything

10:26is just clicking like clockwork you know i haven't seen him put a foot wrong like i said earlier six

10:31time on the bike since smx banged up told me he was just happy to be here and put some laps in and

10:36reevaluate nothing he told me led me to believe that we would be seeing this at all malcolm stewart

10:43so i've been very impressed um i already sort of had thought of my narrative about his race in this

10:48weekend and where i was going to go with it but i got to change that i got to write everything uh rip up

10:53my story and uh write again because this guy is rewriting the story tonight james stewart won in

10:592008 versi on the yamaha the next year was justin brayton he doesn't let anybody forget it either

11:07well james decided to not participate in race three jb forget leaves that part he does he does but i was

11:14there i was racing so just under two minutes plus a lap to go cooper webb is eyeing up a second place

11:20that was the year of the hey we're going to invert the start for race three yeah james said no you're

11:25not yeah not if i'm involved we got also we have we have 15 riders start this race four of them are

11:31out uh 10 riders on the track right now yeah amber has uh time with a lot to complete the lap jet

11:37lawrence is out roman pack has uh pulled out and the valentin i think is also called out then hunter

11:42lawrence so uh 11 15. yeah so 10 riders circulating at the moment been an expensive day yeah absolutely or

11:48expensive final race i should say hopefully there's uh no problems for uh the riders lining up tomorrow

11:54but uh cooper webb there still want to see a replay of hunter's crash i know exactly what jet did like

11:59like we talked about but geez hunters probably wasn't very good that's a drop in front end if you'll go

12:05for a ride i'm just wondering whether that being a uh replay in the highlights uh thing they may have

12:09got it but but anyway less than a minute to go tom vial eyeing up a top three finish sold uh gg down there

12:16gacomo garibaldi you'll be uh having kittens won't he uh top three finish having kittens yeah

12:24um i've been i haven't been overly impressed with tom vial tonight but also here he is he's doing okay

12:30um you know first ride on a 450 in supercross um so in a binary judgment third place is great yeah

12:37yeah there's a lot to unpack exactly about getting to third but you know what in terms of uh riders and

12:43confidence and team owners team managers and kind of uh going yeah blah blah blah they look at the

12:48other side of the corner he's not racing supercross anyway yeah so take it for what it is yeah solid

12:54opening night just just like we saw hayden deegan's debut last week he got a third overall lots of debate

12:59about that but third is third and you're standing on the podium um and there's something to be said for that

13:04yeah so uh malcolm stewart then uh timers ticked up one lap to go he is over on the milwaukee jump

13:12heading in towards turn one here is uh mitchell harrison harrison is uh in fifth position at the

13:18moment i mean he's put 20 seconds into cooper webb yeah and i'm sure coops backed it off no question i i

13:26there but still yeah this uh from what we had in the first race where it was action through the

13:33first couple of corners this last race has been uh complete polar opposite to that in terms of uh that

13:39excitement and uh you know that anticipation and the uh you know everything else but uh checkered flag

13:44getting ready for malcolm stewart who goes into his final lap because time ticked away whilst he uh just

13:52after he passed the line last time around so uh this is a uh a bit of a a parade lap for him if you

13:57like with that gap over cooper webb nearly 22 seconds he's gonna be in dreamland isn't it right now

14:05yeah i mean he looks so sharp still and earlier on we were thinking yeah six times on the bike a good

14:12first race can he hold it together for a second one yes will this double distance in the final race

14:17almost kind of catch him out the answer has been no malcolm stewart goes one one one on day one here

14:22in paris as he leads going into day two and uh on those kind of performances it's going to take a

14:28brave man to bet against him doing something similar to come away as the king of paris tomorrow well

14:33really just cooper webb right that's all stands between malcolm and getting a king of paris does

14:38malcolm have one or no no no he doesn't so he's going for his first one he's a veteran of this race

14:42but just really right now for for how it's going cooper webb and him will be battling for this king

14:46tomorrow game battle tomorrow so cooper webb crossed the line second we wait for tom vial here he is

14:51the uh the french fans will have enjoyed that as well top three finish for tom but uh cedric

14:57subarat and mitchell harrison who's already over the line uh they will round out your top five then

15:01it'll be ascoffier walton harville and camparese and adrian malaval but that does not tell the full story
