00:00When he said that this isn't the same old Jets, I'm tired of that narrative.

00:03I don't even understand what that means.

00:04That's what he said.

00:06This is the same old Jets, though, because it's, I believe,

00:09eight or nine of the 11 starters on defense,

00:12and you didn't make another stop on defense late in the game when you needed to.

00:17And that narrative is still going to be there,

00:19that this defense just cannot come up in the clutch,

00:21whether it's causing a turnover, sacking the quarterback in key situations,

00:25or making a big stop when they needed to at the end.

00:29Do you agree with that assessment?

00:34Look, same old Jets is tough, right?

00:36And I am, if I was advising head coaches of the New York Jets,

00:42I would say do not ever utter that phrase.

00:44Nothing good comes of you saying that until you win the Super Bowl, right?

00:48Or even when Rex, you know, Rex could do it when they win the playoffs.

00:51Like, if you go on a playoff run and get to the championship game,

00:54we can go ahead.

00:54We're not the same old Jets.

00:58Like, because you guys have seen it.

01:00And I am surprised.

01:01I thought Aaron Glenn would have a better feel for you guys than he does.

01:06You know, as a guy who played here and was a scout here.

01:10And just, I, he, he doesn't,

01:13he's not hitting the right notes in these press conferences, I think.

01:15But his audience is the locker room, honestly, not you.

01:19So maybe, maybe this does help with the locker room.

01:22But yeah, you know, same old Jets.

01:24I'm not going to go there right now because it's, it's three games, right?

01:29So I think, I do think this is a tough task that he was given.

01:32They won five games last year.

01:33There was a lot of cleanup to do.

01:35He was playing with a backup quarterback.

01:36So, but, but, you know, that's not going to last forever.

01:42And I think this season is about, do they, do they close games out like this in December?

01:47Even if they're going nowhere, can they get to a point where you're in November and December

01:51and you feel good about the way they're playing?

01:54Because then they're going to have a lot of money in free agency.

01:56They're probably going to have a good draft pick.

01:57Like Glenn and Muzi are going to have an off season to have assessed everyone, figure out

02:02what they need and come back next year and do better.

02:06So I hate to already be turning the page to 2026, but I do think to me, this season now

02:12is about, can they not look like what we've seen these three weeks or especially the last

02:18two weeks?

02:18Can we not see that in December?

02:21Can they look better then?
