00:02Thanks, Disha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:05I hope everyone had an enjoyable long weekend and a happy Diwali.
00:10It's now time for your weather.
00:12Let's begin with conditions in Portispring presently.
00:15Currently, conditions are 27 degrees and with winds calm, we have humidity at 89%.
00:23And for tonight, conditions are looking partly cloudy with a few overnight showers
00:28with minimum temperatures at 24 degrees in Trinidad and 25 in Tobago.
00:34Now, I hope your umbrellas are fully functioning because you will need it tomorrow.
00:39According to the Met Office, conditions are looking partly cloudy
00:42with occasional showers and the medium chance of the isolated thunderstorm.
00:47There will be an increase in cloudiness as the evening progresses into nighttime.
00:51Note that gusty winds and street flooding can occur in areas under heavy showers and thunderstorms.
00:58Trinidad and Tobago will both have a maximum temperature of 32 degrees.
01:04And don't even think about putting away your umbrellas after tomorrow because the rain continues.
01:10In our two-day forecast, Thursday will be mostly cloudy with occasional showers.
01:14Expect gradual improvement as the day progresses.
01:18Thursday's maximum temperatures are coming in a bit cooler at 29 degrees Celsius in both Trinidad and Tobago.
01:26And on Friday, we will get slightly less rain than Thursday as conditions are expected to be partly cloudy
01:32with isolated showers and the low chance of thunderstorm activity.
01:37Maximum temperatures are 32 degrees in both islands on Friday.
01:41With all that rain forecast tomorrow, you're probably wondering what our seas are looking like.
01:47Well, seas are moderate with waves up to 2 meters in open waters and near 1 meter in sheltered areas.
01:53And if you're heading out early, sunrise is at 5.54 in Trinidad and it will set at 5.45.
02:00Over in Tobago, sunrise is at 5.51 and it will set at 5.41.
02:04Now, as of 8.57 this morning, the hazardous sea alert has been discontinued.
02:11Although impacts from high-energy northerly swells have diminished, lingering larger breakers can still be expected.
02:19Therefore, all marine interests should assess sea conditions before any sea-related activity
02:24and continue to monitor updates from official sites.
02:29With that being said, here are your Thai Times.
02:34In international news, a tornado tore through Valdez, north of Paris, on Monday,
02:50toppling construction cranes, damaging properties and uprooting trees in its path.
02:56One person was killed and four others critically injured.
02:59The town northeast of Paris was hit the hardest by the sudden twister,
03:04which caused damage in multiple districts.
03:07Interior Minister Laurence Nunes said on the ex-social media platform that it had been a storm of rare intensity.
