00:00Oh my gosh your car is frigging immaculate I think it's a little dirty but like oh there's
00:14no what do you expect I use that blue cleaning gel that's in the side door you've got this yes
00:20open it up I mean sorry what in the heck is this it's cleaning gel so like if you have dust look
00:28it it takes up all oh um so it's like silly putty yeah I think it I think it melted
00:40here I'll save you give me your hand oh I don't want to that's what I get for being a clean freak
00:58we do you think we could ever live together you and I I would just be more worried that
01:03my lifestyle would make you frustrated you know you run into that with relationships
01:07and I think that's what's happening with Joyce and Dean Joyce actually grew up in this house
01:12oh no way yeah so they have two kids and the house came with her dad so he still lives with
01:18him I can imagine it's a lot I'm Joyce and I'm Dean we have two children Joey she's four years old
01:30and Bronx he's soon to be two how would you describe the state of your home chaotic at times
01:36there's a lot of clutter and this is typically what our home looks like I'm not gonna blame my
01:46husband I'll blame myself since my husband says I don't take accountability and I try to keep
01:51things organized let's put the toys away can we put the toys away but even if she dedicates certain
01:56times to clean it up there's no execution you're not helping me either because I feel like the next
02:02day it's just gonna go back to the same thing so what this what's the difference it's like literally
02:06so exhausting living like this my hope is that Sabrina and Jen will help both of us fix the mess
02:11we have now and I just want to live water free yes exactly I'm excited to get started I'm really
02:23excited to meet them let's get this show on the road there are so many studies out there that show
02:31when you feel like the division of labor in a relationship is unequal it can lead to a lot
02:36of tension in the home and with Joyce and Dean they have the added stress of having an elderly
02:42parent living with them in addition to two small kids and that's why it's so important to find a
02:56solution where both parties are contributing to making the household more organized so that
03:00they can feel like they're in this together wait so this house looks great this to me looks like
03:12a normal lived-in house looks can be deceiving got it can you show us yeah we don't have any place to
03:20store the toys we have toys here we have all of this mess because we have stuff in every other nook
03:29and cranny in the house it's kind of what corners are for though right I mean you've got a little
03:33system here it's kind of the dynamic of where the toys kind of come from too my dad brings toys in
03:40from the garage like for instance that car right there that you see I mean oh this is one of them
03:45yeah that's one of them I mean it really wasn't necessary we just don't need more like write up
03:50more stuff because it's becoming cluttered he's trying to just give things to his grandchildren but
03:55there's dust all over them both of us are just like what is that so let's tackle some storage
04:04solutions for this room yeah and trickle into the living room I think your kitchen's in good shape
04:09Joyce and Dean's place looks completely normal I mean few toys around but like this place is pretty
04:15clean like I'm not sure why they called us your kitchen's beautiful thank you and that's the reason
04:20that corner pisses me off can I go see it yeah we can go look at the corner when things come up like
04:28and I don't know where to put them I that's the corner but it's frustrating for me like that fragile
04:34box right there or that white box right there yeah obviously a majority of it I'll take ownership is my
04:40stuff there are also things here that you don't necessarily need correct probably get rid of a lot of
04:46something you don't need I definitely have an issue with that sometimes when you're struggling to get
04:50rid of things it's because you have an emotional attachment to that object or you don't want to be
04:54wasteful and just get rid of it or you might just be indecisive it's common with messier people and
04:58that's why for somebody like Joyce having zero clutter it's completely unrealistic we just need to give
05:03her some solutions to hide it a little better is there anything else that you need help with
05:07definitely the bedroom okay show us where it is my goodness okay to the dungeon they don't really
05:14consider this that bad but they consider that bad I'm a little worried so here is what we like to call
05:23the tsunami of clothes all right yes it's a lot of clothes you look like you have a headache
05:31Sabrina oh no I'm sorry okay I get it I'm speechless for once during renovations we needed space to put
05:45everything so all the stuff went between this room and his office and it just kind of snowballed yeah I
05:55mean it's a bedroom there's a lot of clothes they have a nice king-sized bed you can't possibly walk
06:01into that bedroom and think that there's nothing that needs to be fixed oh there's a mirror oh there
06:06I mean I guess it's the word fixed I mean improved change renewed fine refresh great you're not a hundred
06:15percent responsible for all this clothes chaos because this closet is tiny yeah it's really for two people
06:23yeah it's a lot I don't have anything Dean doesn't really have stuff in where's your stuff and there's
06:27another class in the office what's going on in the drawers so in the drawers I mean this is Dean's
06:32side and this is my side okay so this is I mean it's nice and organized and then this one that's my side I
06:40can't even pull it open it's completely like stuck yeah to capacity that's how my drawers look she
06:46leaves the drawers open and I always shut them for her because I want it to be a little neater yeah yeah
06:50it's easier to find stuff because you know you're just going to open the drawer again later yes you
06:55might as well leave it open high five yeah I got you I definitely love how I relate to Jen and I
07:02relate to Sabrina they both kind of lend themselves to each of our personalities and perfection isn't me
07:08so somewhere in between I think it's gonna be great you know during COVID I was not like this you
07:14know we had time we were home yeah but now it's just accumulated into this disaster this can't be
07:22where you guys sleep here every night Dean does yeah she's been sleeping in the living room so when is
07:27the last time you slept in this room it's been a few months this goes way beyond just having clutter on
07:38the floor this is affecting their marriage and that breaks my heart you know it's it's hard for
07:44me to get back in here and then after a day of having the kids working cooking cleaning and then
07:49come back in here and be like oh my god where do I start you know it's really um exhausting like
07:56looking at it I feel bad for Dean I feel bad like I don't even let my children in here because I don't want
08:02them to really see this as a mom who is a working mom I totally get it I'm gonna get emotional this
08:10has nothing to do with storage this has to do with you putting yourself last yeah and I've been trying
08:17to make time for myself and people I don't think know how hard it is and being a mom is we're expected to
08:25like have everything together I'm kind of in that rut too I put my daughter my work everybody else in
08:35front of myself and sometimes that gets a little overwhelming this room should be your safe place at
08:42the end of the day yeah for us for both of our marriage yes and it's hard wasting time stressing
08:48each other out so would it be okay with you guys if our team installed Roku security cameras like I
08:55want to see how you live how the kids move just so that we can really come up with solutions that
09:00you can maintain sure when it comes to mess what people say they do and what they really do are
09:06always a little different we don't even realize what we're doing or what habits we're creating until
09:10it's too late so part of our process is with consent adding some video cameras to our clients home to see
09:17how they use the space when we're not there so we're gonna be watching you we're good with that okay
09:20good we're going to reorganize we're gonna come up with storage solutions so everything's gonna
09:26change once we fix this I'm so excited we are ready all right good all right let's go thank you all
09:32right we'll see you all right take care I think Joyce and Dean they have a lot of love between them I
09:40just think they've let like a lot of couples in this world let the everyday life activities get in
09:45a way of remembering why they got together in the first place I think they're just stuck in this rut
09:50bye bye guys bye there are a million reasons why some couples don't sleep together I don't want
09:57organization to be the reason why they are you ready to talk Joyce and Dean yes I feel like the living
10:11room's off to a good start the bedroom is really going to take most of our energy we need lots of
10:16storage solutions and that closet is absolutely tiny and there's an added weight to this house it's
10:22been months since they've slept in the same room there's a lot more to this story than just the
10:27clutter agreed do you want to look at the surveillance video definitely oh that must be Jose
10:41dad we we don't need any more we're trying to clean up we're not trying to have more you know
10:48the Jose's intentions are pure and good but in addition to the clutter that Joyce and Dean don't
11:01want we've also got him bringing in stuff from the garage and it's not really sanitary for the kids
11:06yeah have you seen my sweater the beige one I mean I don't know there's three there's three feet of
11:15clothes in here so they found it you gotta clean this stuff up I know that but I mean it's just a lot
11:20and when do I have time to do it well it would be nice if you could like help me and like watch the
11:25kids and give me a designated time yeah but Joyce it doesn't matter I know you'll come in here you'll
11:30get one little thing done and that's it that is false I could I could do it I just literally don't
11:36have time it's just a lot I don't know what you want me to say okay let's let's come on yeah come
11:46come come come come come see look you just left your sweater on top so there you go it's just I know
11:52but thanks for finding my sweater helping me it was a tough watch that breaks my heart
12:00Dean has a lot of pent-up frustration it's clear what is her stuff but she seems like she's at her
12:07breaking point I don't think that him pointing out what's wrong is gonna help anything neither of them
12:14are helping the situation at all Joyce and Dean both agree they want the space more organized but
12:19they are coming at it from completely opposite directions so nothing's getting done and when
12:24resentment like that starts to build up it's really hard to find momentum to come together to tackle the
12:28mess at hand we need to get them on the same side so to bring some joy back into their marriage and
12:35getting something accomplished in the house would be a good idea
12:39is this clean or dirty
12:45I recognize this dress from the bed yesterday it looks much better on you than on the bed
13:00okay this is my dad hey dad I'm nice to meet you we've heard a lot about you oh thank you so much
13:09we saw you bringing some stuff in the house how are you guys doing because we saw you on the video too
13:17I mean yeah there's definitely frustration we saw that kind of tension overall it's stressful you know
13:23it's not a easy thing to change a behavior and a lifestyle really so the way that we work we don't
13:29believe that it's a one-size-fits-all solution for every family every family's different and has different
13:34needs what we came up with is a strategy called Pavlov's cleaning as you may remember from your high
13:39school science class Pavlov's dog was an experiment where they conditioned a dog to get a little bit of
13:45food every time a bell rang eventually the dog would associate the bell with the food with Pavlov's
13:52cleaning it's the same idea it ties something fun and positive with the misery that is tidying
13:58well misery for most people it hurts my heart when you say that this method is called Pavlov's cleaning
14:04not everyone loves the act of cleaning Sabrina so the idea is to connect it with something that makes
14:10you feel good it could be listening to your favorite podcast listening to music or even
14:17doing some squats and lunges while you vacuum to get a quick workout in while you clean whatever it
14:24is that makes you feel happy when you're cleaning that's what we want you to do Pavlov's cleaning can
14:30also be rewarding yourself with a sweet treat or even a few minutes of cell phone time for every 15
14:36minutes of cleaning as long as you're making positive associations with something as
14:40unfun as cleaning go for it I haven't cleaned yet we're going to put a collage of photos on the TV
14:49photos from when you were young and happy and carefree and when you felt that love and passion
14:55for life and no responsibilities so we can watch that while we're cleaning I love that it's like
15:01motivation for us to get back to our previous life I think it'll be really nice to remember those
15:06things while we do this this is why we give our clients different methods so that when we're not
15:13around they're able to move forward and get things done oh that's when we did our baby moon we went to
15:23Italy oh I love it there well this was to be in the background oh yeah keep looking up how many of
15:33these toys do the kids actually use like can we kind of pare down what they don't touch anymore and
15:39donate it yeah absolutely yeah toss that toss but what if there's like pieces in there she has trouble
15:48opening that garbage and just tossing in I don't have any trouble like that I would throw out this
15:53right now I would throw out this right now this belongs to a door let's take a pause because again
15:58the Pavlov thing is if you're feeling stressed look to your love yes deep breath deep breath oh look
16:09where did we go Anguilla look at us look how happy we look you remember these times that we were just
16:16like so happy and carefree with no obligation keeps our eye on the prize about what we're working towards
16:22yeah this keep I I would say toss oh wow I think focusing on these positive memories is helping Joyce
16:31realize it's okay to let go of some stuff this thing I would nobody use I would donate that yeah
16:37it's always easier to clean when you're in a good mood cleaning puts me in a good mood some people
16:42need to be put in a good mood first so this is to get you started tonight are gonna leave you guys
16:48you have to finish in the bedroom it's not gonna be easy the bedroom but the goal at the end of this
16:53is to remember that you're a team okay get to work thank you so much don't leave I'm not that
17:04confident that I can organize I'm exhausted babe this is where we have to suck it up and we have to
17:11get it done right I mean it's just think about I know but think about the end game think about how
17:17happy we're gonna be after it's all organized yes we get over the hump and then we're in the clear
17:22kid stuff dresses with tugs dresses I know I know no no no it's funny it's funny it's really not funny
17:32Dean I don't know how this is gonna play out tonight but I'll do my best yeah
17:39ready to rock I'm ready let's do this it's a 50 50 chance that anything got done last night to be
17:59honest I'm often hopeful but there's some studies that show that actually it's not just an emotional
18:05attachment that causes people to have trouble getting rid of things it can actually cause a
18:09pain impulse in the brain it actually hurts me not to throw things away you're triggering my pain and
18:18pulse how are you doing garbage bags but I'm sorry Dean's not here he's working right now yeah but I
18:26made a little bit of progress so I got a bag of trash and donations I'm so happy she made so
18:34much progress this clutter train is a moving to two help are the toys that I see now the keep pile
18:43yes I mean I see some things that were in the donate pile that just are still but that's okay
18:49that's okay that's okay the kids came home and you know what happened they're like no I want that I do
18:56I normally donate things when Olivia's at school when they're not here yeah and then she's like hey did
19:00you see my bunny and I'm like what bunny do you not still have all of your stuffed animals from
19:05childhood Jen Jen Jen I have like a stuffed animal from when I was little the purple reindeer named
19:13Pumples where's Pumples now in a closet somewhere okay so Pumples isn't on your bed no okay that was
19:20close it's only for special occasions anniversaries so romantic you know you get into that mindset
19:28sometimes of overthinking so that's where I get very conflicted of course that's why I need help
19:35what we're gonna do for this space is practical solutions because we know that the house isn't
19:42gonna be perfect life happens you have two kids you have your dad living here this house isn't gonna
19:47look like a magazine spread because nobody lives like that so I want you to have a space in the house
19:52where you can just take a deep breath and let it just be a little chaotic at times yes so what we
19:57want to create is your hall pass it's a place where you're allowed to have that mess you don't need
20:04to feel guilt about it it's just there it's your permission pile of stuff this method is called hall
20:11pass Joyce is overwhelmed by the mess she doesn't even know it but she's actually making things worse
20:18we have a really simple solution that's gonna help her get out of this rut giving yourself a hall pass may
20:23sound counterintuitive like wait I get to leave one area messy but by giving yourself permission not
20:29to be perfect in a particular space you're giving yourself a much-needed psychological break so you
20:34will have the energy to tidy other areas in the room and a hall pass can be whatever works for you it can
20:40be an actual junk drawer like this one but just keep in mind to keep one hall pass per room otherwise
20:47things are gonna get out of control so it's allowed to be messy so if you had to think of a space what
20:57would it be I think this okay yeah okay yeah the reason why this is good for Joyce is because she
21:03already puts so much pressure on herself so it's not realistic for her to keep everything perfect it's not
21:08realistic for her or really anybody so the top of it or this whole area I mean mainly like this tray
21:15okay of just like stuff if you have a messier person in the household it's really important
21:20to give that person a space where they can still be themselves you've got a lot of stuff here you've
21:24got an empty Kleenex box and some books you've got you need empty frame I've been meaning to put a
21:35picture of my mom in there she passed away sorry to hear that and just wanted to find a way to remember
21:42her we relocated from New York to here and she got to meet Joey and spend three weeks with her and then
21:48she passed suddenly sorry to hear about your mom I can relate I lost my mom in 2015 it's really tough
21:56I'm so sorry I understand the emotional toll that losing a parent can take on you and it can really
22:02be difficult in that situation to feel motivated to keep your house clean so by having this hall pass
22:07is a good reminder for Joyce or really anyone to know that it's okay to have a little mess in your
22:12house especially if having one less area to clean gives you the time and space you need to deal with
22:16what really matters maybe I can make this my free space and then he can have that his face we'll give
22:22him his corner back it's nice to have my own designated space where I'm allowed to be a little messy it
22:29reminds me that not everything has to be perfect can we take a look at the bedroom you ready yeah it might
22:35look a little worse than we started let me show you all the progress I made yesterday what let me show
22:50you all the progress I made yesterday okay all right there is more chaotic yes I did get very
23:06overwhelmed yesterday but I have piles of dresses sweaters pants shirts and this is all kids stuff
23:12right here but are we keeping it all um I have to go through it I mean it's clear that Joyce wants to
23:18be organized but the problem is she doesn't have the space and she has too much stuff and she's got
23:23a lot going on emotionally she just needs some easy and practical ways to tackle all of this and that's
23:28where we come in so this is all your stuff yes it's like a lot of stuff it's just old and I haven't worn
23:35in forever oh really I have some little tips and tricks to just make it easier to maintain
23:40a good little tip is when you wear something you put it back with a hanger the other way yeah that
23:49way at the end of the year you could see how much you really used and what you didn't use yeah that
23:53way at the end of six months or a year when you're ready to assess you know what you're really wearing
23:58and what you're not but if there's a special jacket that you just didn't get to wear it doesn't mean to
24:03toss it it's more about those everyday items that you're not really using everyday anymore yes I get
24:08it I love that tip I think it's the coolest way to be able to keep track of what you're wearing and
24:13possibly throw away if you're really not going to use it I see there were a few new toys that weren't
24:20here yesterday these like car toys I don't know where those came from look at this look at that
24:27um I actually have something in my car that's going to help clean these cars so I'm going to go grab
24:33that as much as Joyce and Dean don't need more toy clutter it's not realistic to ask Joyce's dad to
24:39stop bringing them for his grandkids because it brings him so much joy I've seen my dad just hand
24:44them things like this without thinking but often with old toys there's a lot of dust and
24:49dirt that you don't really want your kids exposed to so we're going to clean these cars with
24:55something that I actually seen my car with the blue goo so using a cleaning gel is a really effective way
25:01to remove all the dust and debris from the old toys and it's easy and inexpensive to use so you see
25:06all those all that dust that's in there yeah this gel is going to get it all out you see oh it just
25:13lifts it all up all the little dust and the dirt that's in the little spaces you can't really reach
25:18oh my god where does the dirt go right there oh and then see but you can keep reusing it for a
25:24while until it gets really gross and then you just get rid of it oh it's like new again right wow it's
25:32like a brand new car um blue goo might be the only cleaning product that I enjoy you know what's good
25:45to take crayon off of furniture no toothpaste stop not the gel toothpaste the white toothpaste you take
25:51a little bit of it and you take a rag and you put it on the crayon and it'll come right off are you
25:56choking no people often underestimate how many household items can be used to do everyday cleaning
26:02and it's not just toothpaste another easy way to remove crayon tennis ball you just rub it where
26:07any crayon mark is on the floor it'll come right off we're cleaning all your toys yeah you want to
26:22help oh i have something fun for you oh yeah it's not fair for one person in the household to have to
26:28keep the entire house clean so the trick is to introduce fun cleaning activities to get the kids
26:34and then pull it out can you clean the table good job so whether it's creating a chore chart with
26:40stickers or magnets to incentivize the kids or you could personalize cleaning apron with their name
26:46on it like fun colors what's most important is to make it fun so it doesn't seem like a chore
26:52it's fun right isn't cleaning fun yeah i know let's not gush you for aprons are for like making
27:00chocolate chip cookies and making a mess you don't have a cleaning apron no bronx you want to help
27:06can you come help bronx might not be ready for the hacks quite yet
27:17but that's exactly why golden hour is such a good strategy because it lets one parent do some fun
27:21cleaning and then one parent gets to really just focus on spending quality time with the little one
27:26and it shows them how to be great partners so you guys made a lot of progress obviously we're going
27:32to do a lot more but in order to really start transforming this place tomorrow tonight we need
27:37you to figure out what needs to stay and what you can toss and then we'll pick everything back up
27:41tomorrow morning is that good sounds good what do you think are you going to make a mess tonight
27:45you're going to clean i'm kidding i'm gonna make a mess perfect
27:56ready to rock i'm ready how you feeling a little nervous we have some solutions for these spaces but
28:10they're not going to be simple so we have a lot of work to do to get the house done and get this place
28:16in tip-top shape hello hello joyce and dean and the whole family they're not going to be staying at the
28:23house tonight because we need the house to ourselves to really get to work we know it's been
28:28a lot we know there's been a lot of organizing a lot of emotional stuff happening so we've arranged
28:33to take you out of the house we're going to go beyond the mess what we've set up for you today
28:39is a cooking class we know you love restaurants we know you love eating out and so we really just
28:43wanted to give you an opportunity to come together the two of you not only are joyce and dean on
28:53opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to cleaning it's caused a lot of tension in their
28:58relationship i'm gonna tag along so it's gonna be like a thruple situation if that's cool all right
29:02you guys go have fun all right i'm gonna get to work let's go you ready okay let's go cooking the next
29:08time joyce and dean are not on the same page about organizing or they're feeling stressed about the
29:13house that's the perfect time for them to step back get out of the space and go take a moment that's
29:19just for them
29:35joyce and dean did a great job sorting through everything the key pile the donate pile now the
29:40rest is up to us
29:43in the living room toy management is going to be key because they have two little kids and
29:47joyce's dad who brings in more toys so we need to find practical and stylish storage solutions that
29:53are going to be easy to maintain
29:57they also have a ton of clothes the bedroom is going through a complete overhaul so we had all of this
30:06unused space that was underutilized not only do they have more closet space they have extra doors here
30:12as well our goal is to make sure that joyce and dean sleep in this room together from here on out
30:26now start mixing it we're pasta making and this is where everything is gonna start making sense and
30:33become beautiful simple ingredients but a lot of hard work you're doing a great job right here look at that
30:41and i think that kind of leads into like what we need yeah simplicity so pasta now it's time to rest
30:47cool let's open some wine we need to work at it you guys thank you francesco
30:51cheers thank you we'll be here that was so much fun yeah i'm so happy we were able to do this because
30:59i do think when you have clutter and mess in your home where there's a little bit of blame you know
31:05people aren't holding up their end of the bargain it's a hard rut to get out of and that's why taking
31:10a step out of the home removing yourself from that stress we want to make it repeatable yeah well listen
31:16i'm ready to get us out of this rut you know and it's time to prioritize like myself and us us yeah
31:25doing date nights or having time for ourselves getting back to our roots right yeah we've learned
31:31how important it is to step away from the house and the kind of chaos that we've created by going
31:36to things like this because if not we wouldn't have really truly appreciated our marriage again
31:42and realize why we got together in the first place cheers cheers
31:54doesn't it feel different here already it does jen and i had a really long night last night clean table
32:03but i'm feeling excited and happy it's because of all the cleaning you did you're on a high
32:08high we made a lot of changes to the space to make it more functional and organized but how dean
32:14and joyce are going to react we don't know
32:21oh my gosh they're here they're here they're here they're here yay
32:27i'm feeling so anxious i have no idea what to expect how are you feeling excited but nervous
32:36yeah hopefully with the reorganization it's the start of like a new building block for our marriage
32:43are you ready to go in yeah okay go go let's do it okay deep breath let's do this
32:48all right okay here we go oh my gosh holy crap oh my god oh my god oh my gosh it is oh my
33:07this is beautiful like i love it i would have never ever thought like look at the rug our house
33:18could look like this just looks so beautiful and there are still toys in this room yep they're
33:25everywhere the living room was really about accessorizing and adding multifunctional pieces
33:40that serve not just as furniture but storage as well and everything that was in here all the toys that
33:46were in here are in any of those spaces they're all here so now the toys are still there but not in sight
33:51it's just perfect speaking of hall pass do you want to take a look make sure your mom this is so
33:57beautiful look at this this is just perfect thank you oh my god where'd you find that
34:08jen found it i did some digging i love this this is one of my favorite parts about what we do
34:15because people are so overwhelmed they've got so much stuff going on and they're not making time
34:19to place the things in their home that matter to them this is so it has to stay exactly like
34:25no it doesn't this is joyce's hall pass and she has permission to let it get messy
34:32without feeling guilty about it oh my god
34:38this is so cool oh my god all the baskets all the baskets you need
34:45baskets are one of my favorite tools for organizing because you don't have to organize
34:55all the clutter inside of it all you got to do is get it in there i never know what to do with my
34:59daughter's and son's stuff like so now i can just go okay you can do the bronx move just knock it off the
35:07table the bronx move i love that so do you want to take a look at your bedroom yeah let's do it
35:16there's more i mean i think it's just too much the bedroom is such a disaster to begin with and the
35:23closet's so small so i can't even imagine them being able to create more room i just really want to
35:31see it
35:36so do you want to take a look at your bedroom
35:44oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god look at this choice look at this closet this is
35:59unbelievable holy crap wow it's all there oh my god we had to remove the dresser because it was taking
36:10up too much real estate in the room but i never take storage away if i don't add it in another
36:15place so the closet now has more shelves drawers and rod space oh folded clothes how wonderful and
36:24remember your closet used to be just this size yes that's insane this was just a wall so it's three
36:30times the size yes unbelievable these don't have to be organized this can just you could just throw
36:36things in and they slide out yeah you can stuff it full of stuff now they have a whole new storage
36:42system floor to ceiling where joyce could if she wanted to throw her clothes right into a basket so
36:49in addition to all the new closet system you have the nightstands this whole bed is on a hydraulic system
36:55if you can help me this is my favorite part
36:57wow so now you have all of this space to put more bins and any seasonal items that you don't
37:07necessarily need and then the clutter is gone as soon as it goes right back down goes bye-bye bye-bye
37:13this is incredible and for somebody like joyce who just wants to throw things on the floor
37:17this is going to be perfect this is so wonderful this is incredible guys this is gonna sound so weird but
37:23it almost makes me forget about like all the stuff i had and how like not necessary it's not necessary
37:29that's right what makes me want to get rid of more stuff because now i can just enjoy this space
37:36did i hear that did i hear that correctly it's almost like i don't even care like what's in here like
37:40none of this stuff like the stuff does it matter that's right it's just like how you feel like when
37:45you walk into your home it feels like a home it feels lighter in here right so much and i feel lighter
37:52right yeah energy it like that clutter came with me when i walked out of the house and i felt it like
37:58all the time and i always just felt like a huge mess and so when you take away like the physical
38:05clutter it gets one layer that's like lifted off of you we just really really needed this in order to
38:12like get back on track of course i think it was holding us back from a lot of things like especially
38:18like in our marriage now you have it yeah and it's something you could keep up with yeah now i just
38:25feel like i can do it now of course you can do these things it's not just the physical space that's
38:31been transformed like it really it seems like it's their whole outlook i'm so happy to like be able to
38:36sleep in this bed again ready to go to sleep not yet wait for us to leave
38:42we're gonna let ourselves out because i want you guys to actually enjoy this space by yourselves
38:48yeah this is let it sink in it's so rewarding to see them feeling like connected again
38:56it just feels like so i just feel so special and they made like our wildest dreams come true
39:03like this is it helped us in ways that we don't even know yeah i think at the beginning of this process
39:09i was like ashamed embarrassed disappointed in myself and like just felt like a huge weight lifted
39:16off my shoulders oh my gosh i think kids are here oh my god let's go get them yep we'll spend less time
39:25worrying about the clutter and like where to put everything and we can focus more on enjoying
39:30our time as a family are you ready to see it let's go see the pool let's go see the pool
39:38frogs watching with fronky look at the house guys don't touch here joey look you want to see where
39:46your toys went this is an incredible life change good job buddy physically mentally every way because
39:56they found a system that allows us to have the mess but have it in a place where we make it still
40:02look nice absolutely
