Drier conditions are in store for the Plains by this Wednesday.
Transcript
00:00We can take you now into South Texas and other parts of the Southern Plains.
00:03Really, our South Texas thunderstorm threat has been diminishing sharply,
00:08but we've got action up to the north.
00:10There's even a severe weather threat emerging up into the northern panhandle
00:13and into southern Kansas.
00:14Numerous severe thunderstorm warnings in progress.
00:17Yeah, we've gone from mainly a flash flooding threat, which is still a concern, don't get me wrong,
00:21but we're starting to see some of these storms really strengthen and get to the severe side of things
00:26where our focus may start to shift towards those storms.
00:29Heavy storm just south of Wichita, not quite worn as severe.
00:32Here's new brothels in the area between Austin and San Antonio.
00:34You've had some heavy rain.
00:36That really has been fizzling as we step on and through today.
00:39That was footage from what's from yesterday there.
00:42And then into Tuesday, we have some warmth out there to the west and great weather a little farther east.
00:47A quick snapshot at Wednesday, a little drier for most of us by then.
00:51Somewhere like El Paso, though, we do see temperatures drop slowly,
00:53but surely we're at 98 by the time we get to Wednesday.
00:56Mid-90s for Austin and low 90s for Dallas.
00:58And turning a little warmer into Little Rock after some mid-80s tomorrow, upper 80s return.
