00:00The theme of stormy weather continues this weekend in the central U.S.
00:04Saturday, aggressive thunderstorms will break out from parts of Nebraska and dive southeast into Kansas.
00:11Many of these storms will bring large hail and damaging straight-line winds.
00:15We're especially concerned about areas from around North Platte and Grand Island down to Topeka and Lawrence, Kansas, home of
00:21the Jayhawks.
00:22Large hail, flash flooding, damaging winds, the main issues.
00:26But there will also be the risk for isolated tornadoes in these areas even into the evening and after dark.
00:32A new disturbance begins to show itself on Sunday in the jet stream.
00:37So severe weather will be possible Sunday from the central plains to southern plains all the way into the Ohio
00:42Valley
00:42with damaging wind, isolated tornadoes, and flash flooding.
