04:13The team that makes the most profit will win and on the losing team
04:17At least one of you will be fired
04:20Lord sugar would like to mix the teams up so more of flow and pull please move over to nexus and rachel felucia and trey please move over to supreme
04:35Off you go
04:37In the heart of hungary budapest
04:45Visited by more than four million people a year
04:49Excursions in and around the city a big business so excited to be here in budapest
04:56Guys here. We are in this beautiful castle overlooking the river danube absolutely stunning. It's beautiful isn't it?
05:03First job who's up for this decide who will guide the team
05:08I'd like to put myself forward project manager good communicator strong negotiator and i've got a really clear
05:14Mindset about where i'd place you all i'd also like to put myself forward as project manager event is something
05:18I do i dj around the whole world i do meet with different people and different cultures all the time
05:24I can retain information really well and i do work with people every day outside of here and i have had six out of six wins
05:32You're gonna get me there yeah
05:35All right
05:35I'm happy to go rich as well i've seen rich in these environments so i'm happy to go for rich as well
05:40yes right
05:41On the other team lord sugar has asked myself to be project manager this week stretching herself yoga teacher moora
05:51Which i'm actually so excited about looks to win with wine
05:55I've actually brought a yoga retreat group on a winery tour
05:58I would be confident in selling tickets on this one just because i have experience with it and also it's a little bit more expensive
06:05So i feel like we've got more of an opportunity to make more of a profit it is a profit task at the end of the day
06:09I want to keep it upbeat bring in energy the time goes really quick
06:13Everyone's having a bit of a belly laugh enjoying the tasting but also learning a bit as well
06:18We want them to have a fun experience on everyone to be engaged on people to possibly even make friends at it
06:23So the wine tour guys everyone's happy with that yes
06:28So looking at the different tours for me it's definitely the boat tour sold on seeing budapest by riverboat
06:34It provides the most entertainment there's loads of history behind it rachel's team
06:39Lots of landmark stops and i think it would be a great thing for the clients
06:42The only thing i'll say with the boat tour is we really need to make sure it's interactive
06:46Or it does end up being boring because just sometimes i sit in a boat and looking at some views and stuff
06:50With the boat tour so there's a master class and there's an activity so there's still that interaction
06:54Also i think there's actually chance for them to get off and go on to the island so it keeps them engaged
06:58Definitely
07:00Chose a boat tour because i think it's the most engaging most exciting so i think it's a good opportunity for
07:05Tourists to see budapest we have 16 tickets to sell do you think we can start 110 and make sure we're landing at
07:11Minimum of 90 yeah are you guys coming forward that yeah absolutely
07:16Picking a price point for her vineyard tour
07:19i guess we could either go really high on the ticket sales it's like 160. project manager mora
07:27like i've been on a wine tour that's 160 and i feel like if we can really sell the story then they'll
07:33believe in it we'll be selling from morning till uh late afternoon so we would have an idea early
07:39morning actually if the ticket prices are too high we could drop it quite quickly if necessary i know
07:44what you're saying i'm listening to that but what i think is project manager on this i want to get the
07:48ticket sold at that 160. everyone's happy with that
07:55next for gym owner rachel i'd like to portray myself on the tour we're going to lead the clients down
08:00there tomorrow split her team in two in terms of sub teams that is selling the tickets belushi you know
08:07how to sell i'd love to have you as sub team leader to control these boys for me
08:12um you sure you don't want me for the tour team as well and performing interacting with people and
08:18stuff is something i do day to day i appreciate that the only thing is we've got 16 tickets to sell
08:22okay i was thinking about putting more people on the sub team okay rachel's getting to the end of the
08:26day and we're struggling to sell at our locations are you happy for us to sell in bulk and if so
08:31what do you think the price should be lower to we don't really want to be getting below 70 euros for
08:34this so just bear in mind guys it is a profit task so we want to take as much as we can
08:39is that okay with you guys yeah straight away making felicia as some team leader to watch the guys
08:45all i'm saying is redemption time for me and phil and we're going to show that in this task
08:49everyone happy everyone know what they're doing absolutely
08:53first up is the tour team working out staffing on her wine tour flo i'd love you to lead this team
08:59i know you're really good at remembering facts and also our negotiation queen for maura
09:03a last minute change the selling team myself and raj and nora as well unfortunately maura
09:11um due to my faith religions i wouldn't feel comfortable sell or be around alcohol totally
09:16understand that nor would you like to swap over to supreme and go on the boat tour on this occasion
09:22okay thank you thank you guys thanks nori don't share our secrets noise
09:29um more i understand that obviously there's less people on the selling tickets team can i make a
09:34suggestion if i can switch to that team i had to help out with the ticket selling i actually do feel
09:38really confident on this one so if it's okay no no i can appreciate yeah definitely thank you
09:43welcome to supreme thank you very much i was going to put you with trey and i to go learn
09:48about the tour you happy with that yeah that's perfect right yeah sounds good let's go
09:5511 a.m half of each team head off to sell tickets i mean not to keep my own horn but i have
10:03been selling quite a bit in the last couple tasks so i'm looking forward to seeing how people respond
10:07to that especially with that 200k now do you know what i mean the big seller while the rest will plan
10:12their tours today's one about learning tomorrow you've got your top student right here i'm not
10:20about you guys i can't wait to cruise you on it in the morning i've got you what city are we in right
10:23now we're in hungary hungry what city city it starts with a b but god help us you know we do the tour on
10:32budapest oh yeah i knew that on the banks of the river danube i'm going to leave the negotiation
10:43leave it to me guys first job for project manager rachel we don't want to be going any higher than 35
10:49per person secure a boat for tomorrow's trip hello at the best possible price so andrea how much would
10:57you charge for 16 people on the boat per person i would say 960 for the whole tour that would make
11:03like 60 euro per person how about that oh okay how about that that is a little bit out of our price
11:10range andrea i've got to say business to business commercially we just need to make sure that we're
11:14meeting our own okay we started with 960 okay what if we go down let's say 700 that's still a little
11:21bit about out of our price range andrea what if we go down like 450 i really really appreciate you
11:29coming down it's i know um it's a beautiful beautiful boat would you be willing to meet us at 350 euros the
11:37whole tour for all 16 people and that works out at 20 to 21 euros per person 350 350 yeah 350
11:45deal andrea thank you very very much that is brilliant thank you rachel was really clear she
11:51went to lead this negotiation and she did really well 22 euros a ticket leaves enough margin to make
11:56some profit which is the focus of this task we've got down from 960 euros to 350 euros that is 610
12:03euros off what she initially suggested so really really happy with that so all we got hope now
12:08is that the other guys are gonna smash their end of things exactly i think we're quitting
12:13etiac one of hungary's many wine regions it's so lovely yeah beautiful is absolutely stunning drilling
12:24for a deal on a vineyard tour we can aim for around 20 euros per ticket for 16 people dentist paul
12:33so we were looking you know per ticket we were looking at about getting it for about 8 euros per
12:38a ticket from yourself i mean how does that sound um 8 euros per person that's cute i have to be honest
12:49with you guys the minimum is 37 per each person um what i can do is i can go um up to kind of 11 euros
12:56per ticket if you can maybe a little bit but we are running a business here it can be 28 okay um if we
13:03could do you know 20 euros for all 16 if you could meet us somewhere there uh my last offer will be
13:1226. i'm happy with that yeah brilliant martin so that's the total cost of 416 euros deal done thank
13:20you very much at 66 euros more than the other team lord sugar has always made it clear to candidates
13:27that you shouldn't offend people by offering ridiculously low prices i think eight euros ahead
13:33for a full day full tour of the vineyard and a wine tasting master class that really is taking the
13:39mickey saint stephen's basilica one of budapest's most popular tourist attractions if anyone's a
13:48tourist in hungary would love to share at all with you no pushing their premium prices 150 euros each
13:56lovely wine we're doing a wine tour maura and raj tomorrow in the afternoon we're going to be
14:03delivering a really fantastic afternoon full of wine drinking and learning about the vineyard how's that
14:10sound do i have to pay something yes so it's 150 euros each but if you were to come down together we can
14:19give you a discount how's that sound we'd love you both to join us so we're going to have four stops
14:25and then we're going to do a master class at the end where we'll be tasting different wines maybe next
14:29time if i bring enough money oh okay all right no problem thank you very much i don't really have
14:35an issue with the price at this stage i know with panic you start reducing the price but we've not
14:39really got to that point so we need to speak to more people are you still comfortable with the price
14:44point at 150. i think i think there is people around we just need to find the right people
14:51the ferris wheel of budapest yes ladies and gentlemen we are hosting a danube river tour tomorrow
14:58picking up passengers for their boat tour if you want to get involved come down here have a
15:02conversation with us birdie felucia and phil so hi there my name is phil uh what was your name
15:08maximilian oh lovely man maximilian okay so basically maximilian we have designed a tour to go down the
15:14danube river and see all of the great monuments and all the great attractions yeah prices start at
15:19115 euros each would you like to join us would be probably very much fun but uh sounds a little bit
15:25expensive if it's the price maximilian we can work a little bit maybe we can do a deal for the two of
15:30you i think you could not do the deal that i say yes if you don't have a fantastic experience you'll
15:36have the option to get refund can we close this at 210 for the both of you maximilian yes thank you very
15:42much i appreciate you're a gentleman 200. no no no it was 210. you're a salesman maximilian 210 is
15:50a deal thank you guys thank you guys i do feel as if i've probably got the most energy i feel as if
15:55i'm the most desperate to sell i think we have to sell them the tour and we have to fill the tour up
15:58and then rachel will be happy 105 ahead is you happy with that yeah i'm happy with that okay 100 mark
16:03that rachel set so i'm happy with that let's aim for that moving forward yeah yeah go let's do it man let's
16:07do it let's get it mid afternoon
16:24for both teams what's that called in english i think i can call it a thief a taste of tomorrow's
16:30activities and if you wish you can take a sip focused on facts recruitment consultant flow
16:37this is reminding me of my stack party in hungary all over again
16:43why do you do it we have to check the quality and how do you know if it's good or bad we have to check
16:49a couple of things for example the color is cloudy or not if it's cloudy what does it mean i think that
16:54the wine hasn't been finished yet so it needs a couple more months and what wines do you keep in
17:00here okay so it's it's a pinot noir but it's gonna be sparkling wine later like a rosé sparkling wine yes
17:08i'm asking a lot of questions in there and being sub-team leader i want to make sure that nothing trips
17:13us up tomorrow and that we know as much as we can do we all feel comfortable that we can suck out of the
17:19thief tomorrow and steal some wine yeah yes that came across yes yes we can yes yeah i think we can
17:26yeah good brilliant back in budapest i do think we should drop the price for project manager maura
17:34even if we got 99 it just be incredible and we've got a bit of a safety net absolutely still no sales
17:41oh there's a guy hi we've got a fantastic day in the fantastic stunning vineyard so it's an opportunity
17:48to get out of budapest city and really experience some homegrown wine we've been told as well it's
17:54michelin style absolutely incredible so no doubt that you won't have a fantastic time it'll be
18:00absolutely stunning and you know what we're all about having a bit of craft so it's 99 euros each
18:05in total 198 euros is that okay you're gonna do it for 99 euros each amazing fantastic really looking
18:12forward to see you tomorrow i promise it's going to be an absolutely incredible day they've got a high
18:17price for their tickets but they've also promised a lot they've been talking about michelin style
18:22fun packed it'll be a crack i mean they've literally promised the world i just hope they can deliver
18:31on the other team you do not want to miss it it's bespoke for you you guys over there four of you
18:35people spoke for you charged with keeping phil and verdi in check it's gonna be an incredible
18:41experience it's okay thank you for your time it consultant for lucia what do we think of the
18:48footfall here do you think there's enough people coming in there are a lot of people in this area
18:52is changing location in your mind at all are you happy to honestly i don't think it's worth it people
18:55are people everywhere but we've got people here so i think we should just stick here i definitely think
18:59the price is an issue i don't think we should just to reiterate what i said before obviously start the
19:02115 each and then drop to around just below 100 if we need to but i think 95 is a comfortable no
19:08okay 95 so you aren't saying for 95 all right yeah let's just get out then so yeah if it comes a little
19:12bit lower i am comfortable with that okay but just as long as we're getting 95 on average you on average
19:17okay but we won't go below 95 otherwise yeah yeah okay volucia's the sub team leader but she wasted a huge
19:23amount of time staying in a location where they've got no interest they've got no bikes they should have
19:28moved on to a new location all right you guys happy to jump right in right there let's go and check on
19:35excuse me while rachel's team focus on a fun tour i would like tray to get and everyone involved yeah
19:44that's going to be very critical is getting them involved getting them up getting them dancing
19:48for flo and the boys we have got the sauvignon blanc which i'll kick start with the intro
19:53precision planning followed by pinot noir and the antique wine press which is paul
19:59we'll then go down to the cellars um and i'll take on the sparkling wine um then on to you uh steve for
20:06the wine stealing experience and then we've got the barrel and barrel cellar and the wine corking at the
20:12end i'm calculating seven stops there i mean what would you cut out do you think we'll have enough time
20:17it's a fine balance because we've got to make sure we're giving them a worthwhile enough experience
20:21that they're not going to demand refunds because we haven't done enough at the same time we've got
20:25to allow ourselves enough time at the end to make sure that we're upsetting the wine i think we can do
20:28that in an hour and fifteen flo has decided to do seven of the stops i do think that's very risky
20:34because the main showpiece for this vineyard is the master class of wine tasting if we don't have
20:39enough time for that our clients are not going to be happy just to recap then does anybody have
20:45any concerns about our plans tomorrow 6 p.m we're happy to offer it for 99 euros each how does that
20:53sound that sounds good yeah with 30 minutes to go altogether 198 euros is that okay we can do it
21:00yeah fantastic thank you sales soar for raj and maura 99 each so 198 euro are you happy with that yeah
21:10for felucia phil and verdi stay positive guys stay positive yeah yeah 100 okay
21:14two tickets sold i feel like there's football here yeah but we're talking to people and just the
21:21sales are just not coming in yeah you know what we've been here what two three hours now we're banging
21:26a bit of a dead drum okay i definitely think maybe a new location might help okay so i personally think
21:31it's worth going somewhere where we can try to bulk sell some tickets that's my gut feeling what do you
21:34think early all right happy to do that yeah right now i feel so stressed we've got seats to fill up and
21:41we've only got two out of 16 we haven't got long left the price ain't right time is money and we
21:46need to get selling all right guys we need to get our time left come on five minutes till sales must
21:52cease come on we've got five years for four east that's 400 euro plus 50 off for you and your lovely
21:5721st birthday as raj and moora find their final customers 440 euro is that a deal yeah that's a deal
22:04come on let's go with 14 seats still to fill we need to just drop the price make sure we just get
22:09tickets sold for lucia's prices plummet what i'm prepared to do for you two guys is 80 euros each
22:16yes differently i am willing to go down for you guys two tickets for 60 euros each what are you thinking 35
22:2340 the lowest i can go is 60 euros per person yeah i don't think i can go up 45 euros each for you guys if
22:30if that prices the issue okay let's go for two tickets at 40 euros each yep 35 euros each how does that
22:38sound yeah yeah that'd be brilliant yeah
22:436 30 pm selling over 16 in the end that was all right wasn't it yeah we pushed we pushed we pushed
22:50we got ourselves in the bag tomorrow tour time
23:017 a.m today both teams will run their excursions yes people how's everyone doing yes catching up with
23:10her crew slightly nervous how was your afternoon maura we got it we sold 16 tickets yeah yeah we're
23:19absolutely thrilled now fantastic we have sold a vision okay so the vision is raj jeff we used the word
23:26michelin um yeah i think the experience will be incredible what have you promised then so we've
23:31promised that along the way you know there's going to be high energy lots of banter we're going to get
23:36some belly laughs going we've actually got a few set africans you know who love their wine so we want
23:41to really um you know showcase budapest wine here in a fun way i'm sincerely hoping that no customers come
23:48asking us about our michelin stars hopefully that doesn't happen because it comes a high risk of
23:52refunds which we cannot afford to do we've sold um 10 for 99 euro each the last six people uh we sold it
24:00for 80 euro so that's amazing touching base with her team dying to know guys how was yesterday project
24:08manager rachel it was a stretch but towards the end of the day we managed to sell 15 tickets amazing it
24:16was for a reduced price what were the price on average then about 65. i'm going to be honest with
24:22you rachel i'm going to be a little bit critical i feel as if the price point was a bit lower but we
24:26probably would have been going into the back end of the day with maybe six tickets sold had we have been
24:30more at the 75 to 95 price range i never said i know you were kind of trying to respect rachel's
24:37and i'm not i'm not putting that on you i'm just saying that's just how i feel i am personally glad
24:39that we stuck with the higher numbers to start off with just because i feel like if we had lowered it
24:43too much we would be in the reverse of the situation saying we could have got more for the ticket what
24:46did you sell each those tickets for so we started obviously trying to push for 105 um and the lowest we
24:52got was with three girls and they paid 35 each i think the selling team possibly panicked it is
24:59frustrating at the end of the day i negotiated really hard to make sure we had a really low
25:03overhead and all i wanted in return was a really high selling price myself and raj you know sold
25:09yesterday we worked really well together ahead of her wine tour but now i've met everybody um i feel
25:16like that possibly i should be on the tour for maura a last minute reshuffle just because i've already
25:24built that rapport with everyone my concern would be that if we swap at this late stage but you
25:28personally might not have enough time to actually learn some of the key facts to be honest i can
25:33take in you know i drink wine so i can take that in the only thing is there's a lot of information
25:37all the facts about the wine that's fine but we just have to give you an information dump maybe if we
25:42can somehow get that to you at some point during the day then well do you feel like someone else then
25:46that doesn't have as much information should come and do the master class again we've all got our own
25:50information about our own stops really sorry guys i really do feel like i am gonna jump over i can connect to
25:56people that's where my strengths are 9 00 a.m today half of each team will top up takings by partnering
26:06with local businesses who's looking forward to learning how to make some strudels in you know
26:10what philts i'm confident that the payment be confident in the kitchen while the rest will run the
26:16tours
26:20only thing is um with this sauvignon blanc vineyard uh flo did write down the facts for that yeah there
26:27might be some stuff we can talk about a few sort of generic generic like more we can maybe talk about
26:32more about the vineyard itself rather than sauvignon blanc yeah i can talk a little bit about sauvignon blanc
26:37okay yes at least i drink it okay so i can have a little chat about that
26:44on the stately danube river okay guys are we all ready to get going while rachel's team get the
26:51party started buddha past buddha buddha buddha buddha best at the vineyard hey guys don't forget to
26:59breathe it is a little bit of a climb up here short on facts while we're here can we just take a little
27:05look back at the view and just take it in for a moment yoga teacher mora focuses on feeling
27:12and while we're looking at the view can we all just take a moment to really feel your feet on the
27:17earth so i feel like we're all so busy on our lives we're in this experience to get away from
27:23whatever you have going on at home so let's just take a moment to feel the earth breathe in that new
27:28fresh air and a big breath out i think it's just amazing just to take in the simple things
27:35i have no concerns i'm totally confident in myself i'm able to host i'm able to bring the
27:40energy feel like as long as they're having fun as long as they're enjoying themselves that's what
27:43they'll remember breathe in that fresh air and a breath out on the boat tour don't forget the
27:53hammers and we're gonna head onto margaret island all right let's go first stop should we get some
27:58photos of you a musical fountain when i say buddha you say first buddha first buddha first there you
28:10go look it works guys you've got to dance let's go come on come on i want to see you guys go
28:20come on absolutely buzzing oh my god i'm having such a good time they're dancing in the middle
28:38of the park they're just in the moment i think we're definitely delivering on what we promised
28:42guys amazing bravo ready to go let's go let's go guys back at the vineyard let's say that again
28:53together come on together sauvignon blanc sharing her wisdom on wine mora is the grape itself called
29:02sauvignon is that where it gets its name from the name to my understanding is when it gets that wine
29:08stage so i'm not sure of the actual name of the grape but when you get to the name when it goes
29:15through the formation process then it becomes sauvignon blanc and if you're not aware sauvignon blanc is a
29:21white wine so um on also on the sauvignon blanc best served with usually a lovely white fish or else like
29:33a chicken so personally when i'm out and about and i'm looking for a glass of wine i'll often say a
29:38glass of salve and just to make it a little bit easier she told them that sauvignon blanc comes from
29:47the process it's actually the name of the grape i mean it's a pretty key thing to get wrong let's bring
29:52a little bit of energy so i want everyone again i want you to hear your best sauvignon blanc and let's use
29:58our hands oh come on better than that everyone 1 p.m is there interesting facts about strudel that's
30:10worth noting while felucia fact finds on strudel making the pastry has to be as thin to be able to
30:17read a love letter oh that's really exciting before leading a wine tasting at the end of their tour
30:24do you like it really like that i should have another little sample flow and raj get to grips
30:29with the grapes and so ladies we are going to move to the white wines right now so it's called the
30:36fresh cuvee what are you smelling white wine just got to think i've got to put in my mouth but not swallow
30:46do you like it tastes like apple oh definitely citrusy it's amazing now we are going to try the
30:53flagship the flagship cheers my dear third one down so it's a 2022 sauvignon blanc really nice
31:03should we move on to the next one sounds good yes definitely it's going to be a pinot noir cheers
31:10i'm okay at remembering information but this will see quite a lot of information in short space of
31:15time so yeah just trying to stay focused but it's very hard because it's so easy to be distracted
31:20because it's so good should we carry a drink it trying something some more we've already started
31:25with this one but i'm happy to just remind myself yeah let's have one more reminder
31:31mid-afternoon did you know there was a world record attempt next stop for music man trey 13 000
31:41people got together and they kissed just outside of parliament former home to hungarian royalty buda castle so guys
31:50here we are on the grounds of this absolutely magnificent castle now underneath these beautiful
31:56buildings there are various prisons and rumor has it that dracula himself was locked underneath here
32:02what time period was this so good question from what i would know it would probably be the 16th or 17th
32:09century i know it's just a legend but dracula was living in the 15th century and that's 16 17 i think
32:16you'll never forget one century out but wait wait one important fact he's count dracula which means he
32:21never dies so he actually was around in the 16th century come on always got a way to win it round i've
32:27always got to spin it
32:32at the vineyard still winging it on her wine tour so what is sparkling wine good for i feel a celebration
32:39it's always good to hear that pop mora there's nothing better when you open that wine and you
32:44hear that little pop pop and i feel like that's just a sign of a celebration was there a question
32:49yeah just one question given that it is a wine tour and we've not had any wine yet are we gonna get
32:56any wine soon honestly so soon we're saving the best to last we've just got another little bit to show
33:02you and and then we're gonna get our tastings but we do feel we wanted to give you all this knowledge
33:07so that every sip that you taste you'll just really cherish the guests have been asking where's the
33:14wine they want to taste the wine she told them well that happens at the end that's the exciting part of
33:19the tour is she implying the rest is boring often you can find a chardonnay quite sparkling and as well
33:25sometimes and a rosé as well can be lovely when it's sparkling back in budapest
33:39while rachel's team and their tour on a high
33:44thank you so much for joining us dad you are going to go strudel making with our sub team
33:48at the vineyard earlier today wine was stolen this device here is called a thief trick question
33:58consultant steve gets down to business we create a vacuum by sucking up
34:04right now maura is going to sample the wine steve i'm trusting you now come on don't let me down
34:10nice and kind i've never done this before so you're witnessing a world first right now yeah probably a good
34:15idea to stand back yeah tell me when you're ready okay here we go oh dear how did it taste maura
34:24that's the most absolutely stunning absolutely no it really does
34:305 pm the key here you've got to spread it thin enough so you can read a love letter on the other
34:35sides while felucia delivers strudel facts so feel free to stick that one in your valentine's box for
34:41next year for the other tour group so thought we'd start with a bit of a bang with the first one
34:47finally some wine this one is a little bit unusual the rose pesgo pino are obviously red grape and
34:55traditionally used for red wines um this one is being used for the rose a flow just while we've
35:01got you do and tell them the amazing thing about the cork um so yeah does anyone know what this is
35:07the screw cork no not quite so well there we go raj has sorted it um yeah i've got an interesting
35:13question i think it's sorry so this is actually a zork and it's relatively new technology um this is
35:19actually the second vineyard to use it um so this is designed to keep it fresh for at least three days
35:25and keeping the the fizz in it should move to the next one there seems to me to be a little bit of
35:31attention between raj and flo um i think flo thinks she's supposed to be managing all the talking
35:37but raj keeps chipping in they've talked about a variety of um grapes going into this as well
35:43no sorry this is just 100 pino noir grape and the pino noir grape traditionally more of
35:47i guess it's your raspberries strawberries 6 p.m 30 minutes till coaches leave let's really put your
35:57charm on guys you know keep the smiles keep the energy and let's just get as much sales as we can
36:03for both teams the last chance to boost profits i just wanted to offer you the opportunity to take
36:09some shriddle home which one has tickled your fancy one box of six and that's 15 euros the question is how
36:15many bottles are you bringing back if you guys do have any tips if you want to just dig deep if
36:20there's any little notes floating around oh thank you so much how many cases did you want that box of
36:27six is 15 euros this sauvignon blanc is 13 euro you got a deal 64 euros for four bottles then i can give
36:34you a tip you're the best good job i mean that wasn't subtle 7 p.m thank you enjoy the work
36:45i think it was a bit of a silly move for more to switch um i knew about the tour that's what i'd
36:50learned i was meant to be leading it so yeah just praying that there's no refunds how did the strudel
36:55making go amazing honestly phil smashed it any refunds i'll be very surprised i do think the selling
37:01team have a lot to answer for they dropped the price big time towards the end of the day so i've got
37:06some big questions for the sub team if we do end up in that losing team tonight takings will be totaled
37:12refunds if any review tomorrow's excursion to the boardroom
37:19you can go through to the boardroom now
37:31well i sent you to the magnificent city of budapest in hungary to run a tour
37:44so let's start with supreme what'd you do so we went to the tour operator she wanted 960
38:05euros for the entire experience so it's something around 60 euros per person a little bit of back
38:10and forth between us and we ended on 350 euros which works out just under 22 euros per person
38:16did you think you'd done a good deal trey yeah no i thought we should did a really good good job
38:20maybe we could have gone down as low as 18 but still it was a fantastic deal at 22 euros per person
38:25all right then you've got the selling team who are responsible for selling the tickets and who was
38:31that so that was felicia the sub team leader verdi and phil so verdi i heard that you said i am an
38:39international dj leave it to me is that right was those your words i wouldn't say that's exactly my
38:45words no i did say i'm an international dj i didn't i think you said that about 20 times yeah but i didn't
38:50say leave it well recall yeah yeah maybe 23 times i'm not sure yeah but i didn't say leave it to me
38:56right okay and uh felicia i think you kind of took it upon yourself see i'll keep these boys in check
39:05because unfortunately these two have lost the last uh six to be fair that was that was my words in the
39:12brain keep them in check yeah right so what did you do to sell tickets tell me so within the first
39:17i got our first two tickets sold which i was really happy with phil did that sale and it gave
39:21me a lot of confidence and moving forward and then it just it just died down the response wasn't
39:26there but towards the end of the day after running around like headless chickens we managed to um
39:31sell more tickets i personally just being a little bit critical of you guys i felt as if
39:36at the start i think i learned from the cheesecake it's all about hustle you've really got to be
39:39getting in people's faces and really keeping the energy high and i felt at the start you two were a little
39:43bit tentative yeah okay so on day two we've got rachel noah and trey going on the tour is that right yes
39:54so we took them down the danube and they really enjoyed it we got them all dancing by the end i think
40:00we got them dancing literally all the way through because our thing was not to one of your songs i hope
40:05oh no i wish i'd got those extra royalties but no so we'd come up with a chant which is like a typical
40:11chance in clubs it was buddha buddha buddha pest it was just a chance to get there who's the pest
40:16so we split them in two groups so it was the buddha and the pest and then we'll say so it's like
40:20when i say buddha you say pest buddha and it sounds cheesy now but trust me it sounded cool at the
40:26time they loved it they loved it a bit cringy it was a bit cringy but they loved it i mean i jumped in
40:33the danube yeah i'd have been right behind you well what's all this strudel making and all that
40:39stuff then so that came in when they had dropped them off to us um and then we did a strudel making
40:44master class essentially and phil yes not sugar easiest pie it was fantastic it was my favorite
40:51part of the whole process so far it was absolutely fantastic i've heard you did well in that yeah i
40:54thank you i appreciate that jolly good okay all right let's move on to uh nexus yeah now um maura i made
41:02you the uh pm yes sorry sugar you ended up with wine and i'd been on a white couple of wine tours uh
41:08and i think flo's been on wine tours maybe steve as well so we had the last story we went to budapest
41:14once and got pissed didn't you yeah um so the tour team in other words the team responsible
41:21for buying the tickets was yeah so i wanted to split it up into everyone's strong suit so
41:27knew flo was negotiation queen so she negotiation queen yeah well she's got a good name in this
41:33process you did a good negotiation because well i can understand you negotiated that paul should do the
41:39negotiation that was the most tense yeah you negotiated it amongst yourself didn't you yeah i did yeah
41:45you opened the open the discussion at eight euros ahead that that was myself lord sugar because this
41:51is to the winery yeah this was to the winery yeah well you've got some bottle going in at that price
41:55yeah he i think his response was that's cute i think that was a mispronunciation
42:02frankly as a total package we finished on 26 euros per head with the total being forced 416 euros 416 yeah
42:11yeah they were 350. they were yeah right okay well um then let's move on to the selling team moora
42:22and uh raj you were the partners in wine then really yeah rather than the partners in crime yeah so um
42:30literally sold our souls to get rid of those tickets um yeah so a little bit like rodney and
42:35old boy yeah definitely we were finishing each other's sentences did you kind of hold firm on the
42:42pricing we did hold firm yeah up until the end until the last 10 minutes so on day two having taught
42:51these people about wine you in your wisdom i think you swapped places didn't you yeah swapped over did you
42:58take over from the pilot on the flight back uh no definitely not did you know anything about wine when
43:04you changed over small bit very very small what is the point you're the project manager and you're
43:11supposed to be advising people about the wine and you know nothing about it yeah well lord sugar even
43:18though i didn't have as much knowledge as flow with wine i still think it was the best decision for the
43:22team really yeah well the rest of the team taught so as well when we discussed it i think we we did
43:28sort of advise in that in that meeting that it would be a risk because um i think you ended up talking
43:33a pile of shiraz from what i can understand you didn't know a lot of your questions so tell me
43:39about the master class then so um myself and raj adir we did four wines that they were sampling and we
43:45had to talk them through um information about the wine how it was created how it was made any
43:49chateauneuf de crap no flow really remembered the facts and i think they really appreciated that
43:56and i think they really liked raj's very large glasses of tasting wine okay look let's go and
44:03talk about the results we'll start off with you tim can you let me know what the total team spend was
44:10yeah the total spend for the team was 352 euros right uh and how much did they make from ticket sales
44:17and tips and strudel sales and they took 1012 euros and 50 cents uh any refunds well the guests loved
44:27the tour they built up a great rapport with the actual individuals and there was no refunds given
44:31them a total profit of 660 euros and 50 cents right okay karen same question to you uh well alan nexus spent
44:42a lot more 416 euros and when it came to ticket sales and wine sales they made a lot more uh 1586 euros
44:53right any refunds there well um they loved the master class really really loved that um and therefore no
45:05refunds so they gave an overall profit of 1170 euros ah you won by 509 euros difference so for your treat
45:19you'll be the ones that are being waited on as i'm sending you to the immersive 40 towers the dining
45:26experience enjoy it yeah okay off you go thank you very much
45:40well you go off and um as usual you can have a chat amongst yourself we'll come back here and um
45:49we'll decide who out of you will be leaving uh the process today okay off you go
45:56hey come come come in sorry no push push and ah welcome welcome body tower feels amazing seven
46:15wins in a row and i'm the only person that has the hunger give them the orders orders shut up
46:21the nuts get the nuts flo did such an amazing job it was the best decision to switch because she knows
46:33more about wine than i do so overall back up all my decisions you jumped up corporate layabouts that's
46:40what you lot are that's what you lot are and that's you manuel huh you're fired fired fired
46:50five in a row baby five in a row couldn't be happier so glad to walk again
47:03for me the main thing is the selling we're in a situation where we had about five ten minutes left
47:07and then it was a case of we we just don't understand it's like why weren't we doing the
47:12driving the 115 euros all day long just based on the fact that our minimum was 75 euros per person
47:19even if we stuck to what rachel said we still would have lost the test it was capitulation
47:23so you should have had the strong strategy with this with all due respect no i'll be honest with you if
47:27you were on this side you'd be in exactly the same position it was hard i do think it all lies
47:32within the selling team unfortunately felucia and the team just didn't deliver when we started
47:37selling i feel like there was a little bit of indecisiveness from felucia at the end of the day
47:42when we did move location we still didn't make any sales on the next one i feel like felucia is
47:46responsible for the failure of this task because the pricing strategy and her indecisiveness cost us this
47:51task could you call the candidates in place
48:05right the reality is with this task it's all about two figures what you sold
48:23and what your costs were and you take your costs away from what you sold and that's your profit
48:28so you were dead in the danube uh on the first day i mean there was a bargain yeah so uh and phil
48:37to be fair you're the only one that sold you sold at 105 and 80. i was selling it as a bespoke toilet
48:44we've actually built hand-built with a boat which is quote-unquote luxury but what i would say is yes
48:50phil did sell two tickets 105 euros each but he promised that those two people that if you're not happy
48:58even the single speaker you can get a full refund what phil sold it for had we sold
49:02at that point and even said look listen if you don't have a good time you'll get a refund probably
49:06would have been a better strategy and you would have won because you paid less for your experience
49:10yeah exactly that's what i'm saying because i'm confident enough that we would have delivered such
49:13a good experience which nobody would have got it which we did do it wasn't impossible because the
49:18sales did exactly why i didn't drop the price because at the end of the day we could have sold all the
49:22tickets for 70 euros or 80 or whatever it was all this uh rachel what's your call they didn't drive
49:28they just didn't drive the price they i think they put i wasn't there but i imagine they came down way
49:32too quickly we came down 100 to 115 and i don't think you pushed hard right so we didn't come down
49:37for the last hour because i respected the number you gave that much look look i think the team have
49:42identified that they sold most of their tickets in the last 45 minutes but that means that they
49:47spent over four hours in one location that wasn't working i definitely did recommend let's move to
49:52a different location but i feel like for lucia um there was a bit of indecisiveness and then we'll
49:57stay an extra 15 minutes here extra half an hour here and what that ended up doing probably wasted a
50:01lot of time when we got to the ferris field my logic is we've made 210 euros in this one location
50:07and all we need is footfall but i think the footfall wasn't as busy as the second location yeah was it
50:11was it no it wasn't the first one wasn't that busy the second one was more busier than the first
50:15and that was my decision to move there so i don't understand you you can carry on talking
50:19until you're blue in the face but the reality is your average sales price was 61 euros that's it
50:27so you know and you were put in charge of the um selling team no sugar i didn't i didn't request
50:33to be sub-team leader i was placed in that position by rachel so i didn't put myself forward for it
50:37because i've never worked but not the point you were promoted to sub-team leader which i completely
50:42understand and i'm saying that you were in charge of these well i say in charge it's like they're two
50:47kids but they're i mean look i know you two lads have lost seven out of seven i'm uh seem to be
50:54spending more time with you than my family actually um yeah okay so look um rachel yes apart from
51:03yourself which two other people you're bringing back into the boardroom based on the ticket sales i'm
51:08gonna have to bring back felicia and birdie right okay you go back to the house
51:23well look um i'm gonna have a chat with tim and uh karen and i'll call you back in
51:30and at least uh one of you uh is going to be leaving this process okay off you go
51:45so what do you think of rachel ultimately rachel put herself forward as project manager
51:50and she had the decision to make about putting herself or trey onto the sales team and she didn't
51:55do that and that was an obvious mistake and then we got verdi look verdi very nice young man but the
52:02fact is you've given them seven tasks and he's been on the losing team seven times and that's got to be
52:09a concern alan and felicia felicia was appointed sub-team leader and it was scattergun to say the least
52:16she wasn't in control of the team and ultimately the lack of sales was the reason why this task was a failure
52:21thanks for that could you send the uh three of them in please
52:41right rachel yes there's no way of disguising this really it was um
52:49it's all about the sales of tickets that the numbers weren't high enough
52:55lord sugar i set the bar high that is the reason behind my 100 to 115 euro mark
53:00i believe the selling team are responsible i don't know how you didn't sell 16 tickets
53:05when the other team could for that kind of price but if you know you're a good seller why didn't you
53:10just go to the selling team and then let me go and do the tour because you as a project manager
53:14you haven't worked with me before so putting me in the selling team is a big risk not saying that
53:18i wouldn't put you in in the negotiation and tour team be a big risk because i haven't worked with
53:21you before no because myself that works both ways you know you've worked with train you know trey will
53:25be able to do good in that as well and i will be able to do good in that as well verdi can i just
53:29ask you a question yeah um it's clear to me that the fault lies in the ticket sales team and if that is
53:37the case who's more at fault felucia or you i'll definitely say felucia's more at fault because
53:43because you were sub team leader no i will say it's all about timing we didn't sell 16 ticket because
53:47we run out of time not because you had a whole day to do it the other team still managed to all 16
53:53we did 15 tickets this isn't my first time selling last week i did the 200 000 the week before i did the
53:5910.25 i was the highest individual seller on the formula e cards i've led us to be fair that's not the
54:04first time verdi and phil are selling like they know what no but i'm saying i wouldn't have put
54:09myself except to that position if i didn't think we were going to sell it the reason why i'm here is
54:13because i stuck to your number if i wanted to do what i would want to do you didn't stick to her
54:17number did you no as in like i stuck to the higher number which is why we didn't make it yeah you talked
54:21to her higher number but you didn't deliver the higher number at the end of the day rachel's lowest
54:25number was 75 euros per person we still would have lost the task rachel you've listened to this tale
54:30of woe here amongst these two if you have to make a decision which one should be fired
54:34sadly i think it's for lucia she lost control of the sub team and let the price go too low and
54:38that was why i think she let you down yeah sadly yeah well sugar this is the first time i've been
54:44in the boardroom it's the first time i've been on the losing team i wouldn't be here if i didn't
54:47feel like i could win this process yeah and i really also feel like lord sugar is looking for
54:54an entrepreneur and i feel like i'm the definition of that the way your character is i really feel like
54:58you look at me and you is a younger version of you because i've got that craze and that drive to work
55:03hard anyway look i think i'm gonna have to summarize here it's a very difficult one to be honest with
55:11you rachel i can't find a reason to put the blame with you at this moment okay so it really lies between
55:18one of you two 30 you've told us that you're a good salesman and you're good at selling but you didn't
55:25sell well enough felucia you were sub team leader and ultimately you didn't sell the tickets which is
55:33the real reason why you lost this task um it's very difficult i'm afraid
55:43however 30 seven tasks seven losses you are a charming young man
55:51but um i think your time in this process is is is over and so it is
56:00very regretful that i have to say to you that you're fired
56:05we'll also go karen tim thank you so much for opportunity really appreciate it do well
56:10good luck thank you stay in touch thank you
56:18fluisher you were just as much to blame to be honest i'm in two minds as to whether
56:25we did sell in the serial task so you're off the hook go back to the house the pair of you thank you
56:40so much of us said that i really made people around me proud and he also said stay in touch so
56:50get me his whatsapp number because i'm going to message him every day
56:54so guys three still left the boardroom what happened there was a lot of pressure
56:59between for lucia and verdi from my perspective this is the biggest coin flip ever
57:16oh right debrief i thought it was gonna be me i was planning to go home i swear i'd already planned
57:21what i was gonna eat when i get home but i think what saved me is how much i did on previous tasks
57:26that pulled me through yeah um and i think that was the only thing that saved me i think lord
57:31sugar really had a soft spot for verdi yeah as he walked out he said that he said stay in touch
57:40what legend the house will not be the same without 30
57:46now 10 candidates remain the search for lord sugar's next business partner continues
57:54next time your job is to come up with a creative advertising campaign for electric vehicles
