00:47:59I chose this photo, and this time I wanted the model look in front.

00:48:13The fabric filled up that dark space like sunshine.
00:48:16It is so interesting to hear you speak about being quiet and sometimes being timid.

00:49:30I feel like red can be haunting depending on how you do it.
00:49:33And I wanted to give her structure, almost like an armor at the bottom.
00:49:36And I really liked the asymmetrical aspect and giving her angles.
00:49:41I'm certain that my mom had this dress.
00:49:44That is a good thing and a bad thing.
00:49:46It felt very 80s costume.
00:49:48However, this was an editorial challenge.

00:50:36Tell us about your look and the story you were trying to give us in the photo.
00:50:39I was inspired by creating a tornado.
00:50:41I just saw those poi balls kind of like creating the eye of the chaos.

00:50:47These balls that you have on a string.
00:50:49And I'm actually certified to use them with fire.
00:50:51That would have been cool to see.
00:50:53I can do it at your next birthday party if you like.

00:50:58But what was it about seeing her that made you say, I'm going to trap her legs?
00:51:03I just wanted to be very statuesque, but like more having to express in the upper body.

00:51:12I've done a couple photo shoots before, not with someone like as amazing as Coco.
00:51:17I also worked as a photographer's assistant for a long time here.

00:51:42It's a brocade.
00:51:44It's a beautiful color, and it has a beautiful shine to it.
00:51:48This is the most streamlined, sophisticated, and conservative look from you that I've seen this entire time.
00:51:59But with that comes a very hard look to photograph.
00:52:05In terms of the editorial photography, it missed the point.
00:52:11I knew the lighting wasn't right.
00:52:13The communication just wasn't received the correct way.
00:52:16So I was like, I'm doing it, and I'm gonna, like, make it happen.
00:52:19And I got halfway there.

00:52:29Tell us about your look, about your photo, about working with Coco.
00:52:34I recreate the dress, which I had, like, on the first challenge.
00:52:37The paperback, it's translated to the paper pants, you know.
00:52:41And the blue silk charmeuse, you know, I played a lot in the previous challenges.
00:52:46This was like a compilation of your greatest hits.
00:52:49Out of all of these looks, it is the most modern.
00:52:54You were the only one that used pants, and you were the only one that used a contrasting color.
00:53:01Where I don't think you were so successful was in the choice of the photo.
00:53:07I also was a little concerned about your choice of the prop.
00:53:13It was bizarre.

00:53:46I wanted, like, this joyful moment, you know, in the photo to look powerful.
00:53:51Seeing all of the colors, I thought that the fabric choices were very intelligent.
00:53:56I think that you didn't need to take us to the flying place.
00:54:01Well, I agree that a floating fabric isn't the only way to deliver an editorial look.
00:54:07But in my opinion, it saved this shot.
00:54:13If I saw this walk down the runway, it would not have been my favorite.
00:54:17But in that shot, I can't take my eyes off of it.

00:55:26She captured an emotion that she was feeling, and was able to translate that into photography.
00:55:32And that, for me, is successful.
00:55:34That she had a clear understanding of what the theme was, what the vibe was.

00:55:40I understood exactly.
00:55:41The construction of this gown is flawless.
00:55:44I think I love it even more up close, and I loved it in the image.
00:55:48I am blown away week after week by Chantal.

00:56:02The volume or the chiffon, the shoe to make her powerful and edgy.
