00:00Season 12 was one of the most unpredictable in Project Runway history.
00:06You out of order!
00:07You marry me. I'm using my Tim Gunn safe.
00:10Tonight on the Project Runway reunion special, we've gathered all 16 designers.
00:16Any of you have any regrets?
00:18Some against their better judgment.
00:20My knees started shaking, my body started shaking.
00:23To come together and air their grievances.
00:25I have a whole list of tweets from you that were bitter.
00:30The cat's out of the bag.
00:32I love it.
00:33Explain their bad behavior.
00:35Then they're going to be very cold bitch.
00:36There's a lot between smashing a camera and being a cold bitch.
00:40And settle some scores.
00:42I told you I have an issue with one person.
00:44I want you to say who the person is.
00:45I can't put my finger on why Alexandria has so much hate for me.
00:50Wow. Did you two ever make up?
00:52It's embarrassing to watch.
00:53I thought we were friends.
00:55Ouch.
00:56This group is so explosive.
00:58Wait a minute.
00:59They even made me hot under the collar.
01:01The judges have their favorites.
01:02You think they get the five Emmys because of Heidi Kim with shiny dress?
01:06They get five Emmys because of us.
01:08Bull****.
01:09And they're still not done.
01:11I got screamed at.
01:13What am I supposed to do not talk about it?
01:14Do you know who's going to storm off the set?
01:16I am.
01:16Welcome to the Project Runway Season 12 Reunion Special.
01:26We have an exciting night ahead.
01:28Designers, welcome.
01:29I am so thrilled to see all of you again.
01:31I feel like we're back on the airfield with the parachuters.
01:35So how's everyone doing?
01:36Are you happy to be here?
01:38Yes.
01:38Yes.
01:39Really?
01:41Are some of you rather ambivalent about being here?
01:43To no end, yeah.
01:45Why?
01:46I mean, we're all in the same room again together.
01:48It's a little nerve-wracking.
01:50Well, Big Daddy's here to protect you.
01:51Big Daddy!
01:53Big Daddy!
01:53I love this.
01:54I have to ask Dom.
01:56Has it sunk in?
01:57Almost.
01:59Dom, you are the winner of Project Runway.
02:03I've never experienced anything remotely even close to this feeling ever in my life.
02:11I'm sure you're still at about 30,000 feet.
02:14I'm not coming back down.
02:15I don't intend to.
02:17$500,000 in cash and prizes.
02:21What are you going to do with it?
02:22What am I not going to do with this question, Tim?
02:25I'm excited.
02:26I'm ready to get the Dom brand out there, and now I have a means to do it.
02:29Well, I'm delighted to hear you say that, that you're moving your brand forward.
02:32That's wonderful.
02:36Your win was one of the toughest decisions the judges have ever faced.
02:41And Alexandria, you were the runner-up.
02:44So how do you feel about that?
02:46I mean, I guess we all wanted to win, but I'm okay.
02:48I'm okay with it.
02:49Your body language is telling me something else.
02:51I, the judges judged what, I mean, they saw fit as to their decision, and I mean, I can't change their minds.
02:58I know I did the best I could do, and that's all I can do, you know?
03:01Justin, how do, how do you feel?
03:03At this point, I feel amazing.
03:05Just being on this journey has been incredible, and I'm very thankful.
03:09Brayden, how did you feel about the outcome?
03:12I felt great about my collection.
03:15I still do stand behind the idea that I wanted to show an overall arc of a whole collection.
03:21And I have a lot of friends working in the entertainment industry, and I actually had to make a priority list of who gets a custom outfit first.
03:30It's a high-class problem.
03:32Yeah, it is.
03:33It's a really exciting time.
03:34That's wonderful.
03:35And, Angela, I'm going to say this to you.
03:37I feel sick about you and about Kehindo.
03:40You're the first two designers out.
03:42We agree.
03:42Because you're so talented, and the world didn't get to see you fully.
03:46I think now that it's been a little bit of time.
03:49We've processed it.
03:50Yes, we've processed, we've healed, we've moved off.
03:52Right.
03:53Good.
03:53And you're Project Runway alumni forever.
03:55Right, right.
03:56I want to ask all of you, how do you feel about the fashion that was created this season?
04:00I've been watching Project Runway since it first came on, and I can honestly say that this season is the most impressive season I've ever seen.
04:08We were all so individually different, and it showed in our designs.
04:12I mean, I am in awe of you.
04:14I can't believe what you achieve, and I stand in agreement.
04:18I don't know of a stronger season of work.
04:22How did you all feel about the challenges?
04:24What was your favorite?
04:25Glamping.
04:26Justin's not going to agree.
04:29Kate, how about you?
04:30Because you've been part of two seasons.
04:32I think the challenges this season were leagues above what we got to do last season.
04:37Like, our second challenge, we had $33 million worth of diamonds standing on that runway.
04:41Extraordinary.
04:42We did so many destination things.
04:44Yeah, but there was also no shortage of emotion or drama.
04:48Sandro, one of the more shocking moments concerned your flee from the building altogether.
04:57Let's take a look.
04:58Hey, designers.
05:00Yes?
05:00I have a question.
05:01Please.
05:01I would love to know some notes and comments about my government.
05:06You are safe today.
05:07You know that, right?
05:09That wasn't the time and place to talk to the judges.
05:12Why?
05:13Because you're being disrespectful.
05:15For who?
05:15I just decided to talk.
05:17I understand.
05:17You want criticism?
05:18I booted my hand up and asked.
05:20But just put yourself in my shoes.
05:22Why have you put it in your shoes?
05:23Because I was barely safe.
05:25Never scream.
05:25Don't you get that?
05:26Never scream at me.
05:26You don't understand.
05:27Never yell at me.
05:28Okay, but you don't understand.
05:29We're friends here.
05:30I know we're friends.
05:31So face your voice made down.
05:35It's a time and a place for everything.
05:37And you are out of order someday.
05:39Where?
05:39Who said out?
05:40So you need to calm the down.
05:44Take your ass off.
05:51I'm going to smash this camera.
05:53I promise you.
05:54Sandra, I'm going to ask you.
05:58What caused you to act out in that dramatic manner?
06:01I really was get upset.
06:03The person who I always like, you know, fight for and open and no matter what, like, we're
06:08going to be together.
06:09Let's do this and whatever, whatever.
06:11I just kind of really disappointed why this act coming.
06:14Sandra, I don't know what you're talking about.
06:16Well, that said, you don't know what I'm talking about because you follow and you're watching
06:20each of us.
06:21But who were you upset with?
06:22I've been upset with Helen very much.
06:25Helen, what do you remember?
06:26I mean, we were close from the beginning of the season.
06:29But it was out of line for me to blow up like that in the designer's lounge.
06:33But I was just like, it was overwhelming.
06:35The part missing because we're always talking to each other face to face.
06:38And I'm not realizing she's going to go to interview room and turn completely different, opposite.
06:44And that's what's missing between us.
06:46And that's what makes me upset.
06:47Oh, God.
06:48Sandra's behavior was out of control.
06:51He is a ticking time bomb.
06:52He got rude to almost everyone that's involved with Project Runway.
06:56No adult should act that way.
06:57You have to be proud.
06:58I got screamed at and practically had a grown man in my face.
07:03Of course I'm going to go to interviews.
07:04And what am I supposed to do, not talk about it?
07:07So are we not supposed to, like...
07:09Helen, I want to say something in support of you, too.
07:12Observing how you responded to Sandro in the designer's lounge, you were raw emotion.
07:18You weren't being duplicitous.
07:20You were telling him exactly how you felt.
07:22And a very legitimate question was, why would you talk back to the judges in that way?
07:27You were safe.
07:28I want to understand why from challenge and another challenge I saved.
07:32What I'm doing wrong.
07:33All these women, they like my work.
07:35They never complain, even Nina Garcia.
07:37However, I told you I have an issue with one person.
07:40And you know who is that.
07:42Who is it?
07:43Why are you asking?
07:45I want you to say who the person is.
07:47Zach Posen.
07:51For me, the dress goes a little trashy.
07:55It looked like the walk of shame after an award show.
07:58She looks like a slutty cat toy.
08:01And what is the issue with Zach Posen?
08:05I think he just really, really, really, really jealous when somebody much talented and younger
08:10and more attractive than he is.
08:12When behind the camera, all crew, everybody talking about Sandro, Sandro, Sandro, Sandro.
08:17And that's exactly what happens with a lot of fancy people who are trying to be like, you
08:22know, it's all about me.
08:23Right now, in five years in this country for emigrant, I've done this.
08:28Twice I published by Italian Vogue.
08:30I've dressed a lot of Hollywood actresses.
08:32And I have to suppose to listen what Zach Posen telling me about slutty, trashy, look old and stuff like that.
08:39He's just jealous because when he was in my age, he doesn't that half of that, what I've done in five years.
08:44So do the rest of you think that Zach Posen is jealous of Sandro?
08:48Of course.
08:49Of course.
08:50Why are you laughing?
08:51It's nothing funny.
08:52It's just really serious stuff.
08:54Let me ask you this, though.
08:56In addition to talent and self-belief and tenacity, having a thick skin is another important characteristic.
09:05And do you have one?
09:07If I be a robot and I'm going to be a very cold bitch, I don't care about emotions.
09:11Sandro, there's a lot between smashing a camera and putting a cameraman at risk.
09:15No, exactly.
09:15And being a cold bitch.
09:17You're a hothead.
09:18Whatever happens to me, I just be in me.
09:20That's how I do my dresses with emotions.
09:23And that's how I'm every day living as an emotional person.
09:27Crush camera or punch some stupid face who make me nervous since the beginning.
09:32Whatever is going to happen, it happens.
09:34That's being Sandro.
09:34I just want to add, there were several arguments, or let's be honest, outright fights this season.
09:42The team challenges seem to bring out the gloves.
09:45Let's take a look.
09:47We have a budget of $1,500.
09:49I don't want to go over $1,500, though.
09:50But we need stuff.
09:51I mean, Ken, Sue, and Alexandria, that's like a total recipe for disaster.
09:56No, we don't need this.
09:57I found this, but for men, for the hardware?
10:00I need a gun.
10:03Sue, you don't know how to make patterns at all.
10:05No, I make up my own, but I don't really know.
10:08I do all draping.
10:09She don't know how to operate the sewing machines.
10:12She don't know how to make patterns.
10:15What is this?
10:17Well, it was a bold color, a bold decision.
10:19I don't like that.
10:20His demeanor is obnoxious.
10:27We'll get to the bottom of this when we come back.
10:30Coming up next, bring out the gloves.
10:33I was really angry.
10:34It really hurt me.
10:35You're crazy.
10:36I was f***ing tired.
10:37And you're a teacher?
10:38How dare you?
10:39And later, even I need a timeout.
10:42It seemed very fishy who was in the top and who was in the bottom.
10:45They get five minutes because of us each season.
10:47You've got to be crazy.
10:48Okie dokie, I give up.
10:51Welcome back to the Project Runway Season 12 Reunion.
10:55Ken, Sue, and Alexandria, that's like a total recipe for disaster.
11:00Wow.
11:02Ken, Sue, Alexandria, we know that there were problems with your team, but what was the biggest problem?
11:08Lack of communication and maybe have fun with it instead of being...
11:13I mean, there was no fun.
11:15Yeah.
11:16I had really good intentions, and I tried to communicate, and I apologize to the both of you guys.
11:22It's done.
11:22But, um...
11:24I think it was difficult for any of us to focus because we had differences from the get-go.
11:29It was sort of a recipe for disaster in many ways.
11:32From the very beginning, you're saying?
11:33Yes.
11:33Yeah.
11:34I don't think team challenges are anyone's real favorite challenge, to be honest.
11:37But it's life.
11:38Well said.
11:38It is life.
11:39Exactly.
11:39It is life.
11:40I mean, you leave here, you're going to work on a design team.
11:43Yeah.
11:43And there will be differences of opinion, but in fact...
11:46Everyone's got very strong egos, everyone wants to be the leader.
11:48And have you healed and repaired things?
11:50I say what I have to say in that moment, and I don't hold on to it.
11:53Life is too short.
11:54To hold on to any negative energy will just drain you that much further throughout the competition.
11:59He's got to move forward.
12:00In my opinion, I just feel like it's a time and it's a place for everything.
12:05Later on in the season, I kind of lose that butt.
12:09The team challenges bring out the gloves.
12:11Yeah.
12:12They really do.
12:13Speaking of...
12:15Oh, goodness.
12:15Timothy and Miranda, you two knew each other before coming on the show.
12:21It didn't go very well at all.
12:24How's it going?
12:25Are you not talking to me?
12:26It's going to be war and I'm going to beat him.
12:28I think Timothy's just making me nuts, so I'm just going nuts.
12:32I'm tired of being upset and like crying about him.
12:35So now I'm just going to be mean.
12:37He sucks.
12:38He's no good.
12:39How dare you?
12:41I feel awful for talking behind his back.
12:46That's not how you came across.
12:48It came out.
12:50And rather than crying, I got pissed off.
12:52And I was venting.
12:55And I feel bad about it.
12:56And I tried to tell you that.
12:59And instead, you stood up on stage and berated me in front of judges.
13:04That doesn't make me look bad.
13:05That makes you look bad.
13:07I was so blinded how bad you made me feel last night that I didn't realize that I was doing that right back to you.
13:12Wow.
13:15Did you two ever make up?
13:17Yes.
13:19Yeah, absolutely.
13:20Tell us about it.
13:21I think that was where we made up, was right in that designer's lounge right there.
13:25That was the beginning of it.
13:26But since we've been home, Miranda has just been so supportive.
13:28A lot of what I said, I'm really embarrassed by.
13:32I was really exhausted.
13:33It was towards the end of the day.
13:35And I just, I should have probably taken a break and got coffee and had some food.
13:39And it's embarrassing to watch on TV.
13:43We have a little more drama.
13:45Ken, Alexander, Braden.
13:48I don't think any of us will forget the debacle that ensued when you were moving in together.
13:56And at the core of it was the fact that we were taking two rooms and merging them into one.
14:02And as nervous as I am to see it all over again, let's take a look.
14:10Ah.
14:11Girl, you got to move that, honey.
14:13I got a big-ass suitcase, bigger than you.
14:15Meet me.
14:15I understand we have to combine rooms, but barging in is not acceptable.
14:20Three, two, one, let's go.
14:22Ken basically is being a total dick.
14:28We not going to come in here with that.
14:31I can throw drama too, honey.
14:33It ain't no sitting down.
14:34I'm not going to deal with it.
14:36I know.
14:37I know, Ken.
14:38Calm down.
14:39Please, please calm down for me.
14:41It's no coming down.
14:43I would rather live on the streets than live with him.
14:48Wow.
14:49That was intense.
14:51Ken, when you watch this, what do you take away from it and what do you learn from it?
14:56I expressed myself differently from everybody, and I released it out on the cast.
15:02And it wasn't we didn't want to live together.
15:04It's just the fact of we didn't want to move everybody.
15:08It's frustrated.
15:09We're tired.
15:10We were up since 4 a.m. that day.
15:11That's where my frustration came in.
15:13I was tired.
15:14When he first came into the room and started rearranging the furniture, I really, I mean,
15:20I was really angry.
15:22I'm with you, Alexander.
15:23I mean, we just wanted to get over it, do better, and just get that out of the way.
15:28I do understand where Ken is coming from, and I don't blame him.
15:32It was that time, that moment, and it's just everything.
15:35It was like the perfect storm in a way.
15:37What's the relationship like among the four of you now?
15:41We're fine.
15:42We talk the next day.
15:43Yeah, we're fine.
15:44When you reflect upon it, would you have done things differently?
15:48I would have moved.
15:51I would have.
15:52I feel like if I would have moved, that wouldn't have happened at all.
15:58Well, there was a lot of fighting this season.
16:00At the same time, there was a huge amount of camaraderie, and many of you formed bonds.
16:07That were beyond, certainly, my expectations, and you became real friends.
16:12I went into it hoping to win the half a million dollars, and I tell people I came out of it with a lot of friends.
16:18I didn't expect to make a single friend.
16:20Me neither.
16:21I thought you guys were going to kill me.
16:25Jeremy, who do you feel closest to?
16:27It would be Justin, Ken, and Alexander.
16:29The first thing I said was, I'm not here to make friends.
16:33I mean, Dom, Kate, and I, we talk all the time.
16:35And I, of all people that I would never imagine to be close with, was Kate.
16:40Holy s***, it better not be Kate, because she's a total bitch, and I'm pretty sure that we're going to clash.
16:49Kate is pretty awesome off the bat.
16:52I almost feel ashamed for having said that she was a bitch, because her and I have a lot in common, and hopefully I can learn from her.
17:00It doesn't, Kate.
17:01I am so devastated.
17:05Kate and I have become so close.
17:07I mean, I was really hoping that she would come to Fashion Week with me, and it's really heart-wrenching.
17:12It was definitely not something that any of us anticipated coming here.
17:15It's a lovely thing.
17:16Helen, I absolutely adore you, but you drove me to despair during much of this season.
17:25It's about your process having to do with this complete and total tizzy you would work yourself into.
17:32But I also want to say, given all of that, you would come out on the top so frequently, even when.
17:38But you sure do make it seem painful as you go through this.
17:41Let's take a look.
17:44Oh, my God.
17:46Does anyone else braid a bunch of themselves back then?
17:48Helen is having her normal fit again.
17:51She doesn't know what to do.
17:52I don't see the menswear.
17:54Hmm, I was feeling really good all day until now.
17:56Why have I made you feel bad?
17:58I was finally feeling better about it.
18:00I draped the second time, and it's just like, no, it's not working.
18:04I think Helen is an insecure person.
18:07I don't mind giving her some advice, but, I mean, it's constant question after question about what my opinion is.
18:12So, deal with your own design, honey.
18:14What's the matter?
18:15I'm, like, freaking out.
18:16I don't know what to do.
18:18I clearly don't take criticism very well.
18:20I'm human.
18:21Sometimes I get lost in the negative.
18:23I need to, like, let go of this, and that's just something that I need to, like, get past.
18:28Helen, it has to be exhausting getting yourself that worked up.
18:32Why do you think you do this?
18:33I mean, I don't think I get myself worked up.
18:35You don't?
18:37We'll figure this out when we come back.
18:42Coming up next...
18:43I thought we were friends.
18:45You talk about people behind their back.
18:47What is so disgusting about me?
18:50Wait a minute.
18:51And later...
18:52The judges have their favorites.
18:53Wrong.
18:54The cat's out of the bag.
18:55That is bull...
18:57Welcome back to the Project Runway Season 12 Reunion Show.
19:05Helen, it has to be exhausting getting yourself that worked up.
19:09Why do you think you do this?
19:10I mean, I don't think I get myself worked up.
19:13You don't?
19:14Let's see.
19:14I was menstrual twice this season, if you need to know.
19:18Oh, my God.
19:18Because, well, there were a lot of meltdowns this season, and I just feel like, why highlight mine alone?
19:26Wait a minute.
19:27Helen, you sound very defensive about this, and I don't want you to be defensive.
19:31I am merely asking...
19:33It's embarrassing.
19:34I mean, I want to be taken seriously in the industry, and, like, really?
19:38Oh, wait, we can't hire her because she's a drama queen.
19:40She cries all the time.
19:42I've never had meltdowns like this before in my life.
19:45You are taken very seriously, I want to assure you of that, and you're a great designer.
19:49You just have a very quirky process.
19:51I see it coming from passion and you wanting to do a beautiful job, the best job you can do.
19:56Realistically, we have, like, eight hours to sew these things, but I am the cult leader of emotional breakdowns.
20:01We're all individuals, you know.
20:04I cry, she cries, some people yell, so it's an intense situation.
20:09Project Runway is hard, it's very hard, and most people watching on TV don't realize how tough it is.
20:16And I must say, there were times this season when you really pushed me to my own limit.
20:20I did all that I could to keep you all going.
20:23So let's take a look.
20:25Why are you so upset?
20:26I'm just so frustrated.
20:28Everything that's been happening, I've been frustrated with today, she got it.
20:33This process is overwhelming.
20:35As soon as you come out of one challenge, bam, you're right back into another one.
20:40You have a winner with this.
20:43You just don't want to over-design it.
20:45I'll leave you.
20:45Do you need a hug?
20:46I need prayers.
20:48It's a knockout.
20:49Really?
20:51You learned something profound by having that terrible struggle.
20:54It was worth it.
20:55Thank you very much.
20:57My construction is so awful.
21:00There's nothing you can do about it now.
21:01I know.
21:02Yeah, I'm just okay.
21:04Yeah, I'm fine.
21:05I'm good.
21:07All right.
21:07I know what happened last night.
21:09And I was very unhappy about the behavior that you demonstrated.
21:14I know.
21:16I never said I was perfect, and I owned it up right away.
21:19I'm not excusing his temper tantrum.
21:21It was extreme.
21:22My thing is, I don't want to sit here as if I'm the bully.
21:27And I understand that.
21:28I do want to say the degree to which you exploded last night, I would say to you, in merely a caring way, there are some anger management issues.
21:38Well, we went through a lot together.
21:41What do you think the hardest part is about Project Runway?
21:44Well, I come from an industry where we don't make things in eight hours.
21:48We make things in 300, 400 hours and make it to last.
21:52So I had to make stuff that lasts 15 minutes on the runway, and I can do in seven hours.
21:56It's hard.
21:58Alexandria?
21:59I would say that the production schedule was grueling to not sleep for six weeks straight.
22:03It's just the time.
22:05It all comes down to timing.
22:07There's a lot of things that goes on in such a short period of time.
22:11Illustration, draping, pattern making, finding the fabric, and all of these elements.
22:17Yes, it was challenging for us, but at the same time, we can definitely say that we can make garments in a day or less.
22:25At Project Runway, there's one thing you have to do, and you don't have any time to do it.
22:30Even a coffee break doesn't really cut it.
22:33So I think that just wears us down.
22:36It was hard, but I don't know about anyone else, but I went into every challenge like, oh my God, I'm going to have so much fun with this.
22:42What can I possibly do in eight hours?
22:44Did everyone else have a sense of fun?
22:46Yes.
22:46Yeah.
22:47Fear, but fun.
22:49Yes, terrifying.
22:51There's no time to think.
22:52There's no time to step back from your work.
22:55That's why I come into the workroom.
22:57It's really to help you, make you, step back and look at it critically and objectively.
23:02But in the end, you have to own responsibility for the decisions that you make, because it's not my work on the runway.
23:08I am always surprised to hear what each of you has to say about the other in the interview rooms.
23:14I don't see it until it's on TV.
23:16And I'm sure for the rest of you, that's also the case.
23:23Let's take a look.
23:25I don't know why they even brought her back.
23:28Kate should go home.
23:29Wow, from the start.
23:30I do not like Alexandria's look at all.
23:35Timothy's creating this frumpy ice skater dress.
23:40It's awful.
23:41I think he just relies on his mission as a sustainable artist.
23:46I don't think he really understands what that means.
23:51When I see what she's done with the fabric, I think, bleh.
23:54Miranda, your shit is ugly.
23:55Brayden designed something for my great-great-grandmother in her casket.
24:00I think Sandro is an idiot.
24:02Like, the guy doesn't shut up, and his big mouth is just a shield for his insecurity.
24:07I had no idea what's going on with her garment, and the skirt looked like a newspaper wrapped around.
24:14Helen's gown is like the 60s throughout.
24:18I don't know her name.
24:19The blonde one, short, she looks like Peter Pan.
24:21She should go home, too.
24:22She has no business being here.
24:23She reminds me of Judas in the Bible.
24:26If I have to put a face with Judas, I see Alexandria.
24:30Timothy, his design aesthetic looks terrible.
24:35Sue's dress is horrible.
24:37Alexandra's look for this challenge is completely hideous.
24:41I don't care for Miranda's look at all.
24:44It looked like Amy Winehouse after she OD'd.
24:47What is Kate thinking with that dress?
24:50Jeremy's look is just old.
24:51I completely do not understand what Brayden's done.
24:55It's hideous.
24:56Terrible.
24:57Completely hideous.
24:58So, how do you feel watching that?
25:08It's funny.
25:09It's funny.
25:09Any of you have any regrets?
25:12Helen?
25:13Ken?
25:15After you.
25:16I would have came into this season with a professional mindset.
25:21It's a time and it's a place for everything, and I don't believe that this was the place for
25:25some of my behavior, and I think a lot of the arguments and my temper tantrums would have
25:30not went and escalated the way they did if I would have changed my mindset.
25:35Ken, that's very laudable.
25:37I'm very, very pleased to hear you say that.
25:39Helen?
25:40I thought that I could put all drama aside and not acknowledge any negative energy, but
25:46there was still a lot of tension.
25:49And are you thinking about anyone in particular?
25:51Well, I still can't seem to put my finger on why Alexandria has so much hate for me.
25:59I don't understand what is so disgusting about me to Alexandria that it just, it was nonstop.
26:06I mean.
26:07Ask her.
26:08She's right there.
26:11Coming up on the reunion special.
26:13And I have some tweets.
26:16Start then.
26:17I've said plenty of nasty things about you.
26:21Ooh, lulley.
26:23Welcome back to the Project Runway Season 12 reunion.
26:27Well, I still can't seem to put my finger on why Alexandria has so much hate for me.
26:34Ask her.
26:35She's right there.
26:37I'm confused.
26:39I hardly think no resentment.
26:41Are you joking?
26:42You said so many mean things about almost all of us.
26:47I mean, now's your chance.
26:48Get it out.
26:50I don't think I felt or harbored any animosity towards you.
26:55I mean, I know that I called something out, but I don't think I'm the only one that called it out.
27:01Am I just pulling this out of the air?
27:02I think you are.
27:03I think you are.
27:04I was so nice to you.
27:06I held my tongue so many times as your roommate, and it really hurt me to hear you say half the things you said about Helen, about me.
27:13I was shocked because you were so nice to my face.
27:16I thought we were friends.
27:18I wanted to be chill with you, and then, like, I have to watch that.
27:24I mean, do I owe you an apology or something?
27:26You know, I don't agree with anything that you're saying, so I don't know if you need to apologize for anything.
27:31I've said plenty of nasty things about you, and I hate to say it, but they were justified.
27:36And after having seen the way that you acted, like, that's not a left field.
27:42Do you have nothing to say?
27:44She doesn't have anything to say.
27:46I have nothing to say.
27:47Like, am I crazy?
27:52Maybe.
27:55You're not crazy.
27:57You talk about people behind their backs and smiling their face.
28:01Have you been watching the same show as all of us?
28:03No, I'm not even watching.
28:03I haven't.
28:04You know what, I've watched, I've forwarded to certain parts.
28:08Trust me, I fast-forwarded past you two.
28:13Alexandria, do you have any final words to say about this particular situation?
28:17I critiqued work in those rooms, and I did my best to keep my personal feelings out of it,
28:23but if I called something out, I called it out.
28:25All I want to know is why.
28:27It was draining.
28:28Why do I bother you so hard?
28:29No, it wasn't.
28:30It was draining when you're, like, freaking out in the room because we can't fix it.
28:33Oh, is it not draining when you freak out in the room and it makes everyone uncomfortable?
28:37And you're a teacher?
28:41It's really sad.
28:42Yeah, nobody's perfect.
28:43No, I know that, but it just...
28:45It's not good.
28:45You see, you're not going to get it what you want from here.
28:47Come on.
28:48It's not worth it.
28:49It's really sad.
28:49And what's the next clip, Tim?
28:53As you all know, we switched some things up this season, which I have to say I really liked.
28:59And one of my favorite things about this season was the Tim Gunn save.
29:02And I used it earlier in the season than I had anticipated.
29:06But I have to say it was so wonderful of all of you to stand together behind my choice to save Justin.
29:15And I think we would all agree it was a very beautiful and emotional moment for all of us.
29:21Justin, I'm sorry you're out.
29:24I just want to say that it's an honor for me to be here and be able to show anybody out there capable to do anything they want.
29:38You have inspired us all.
29:40Thank you for being here.
29:48Oh, Justin.
29:54I have something very important to say.
30:07That has nothing to do with the fact that you're one of the sweetest people to ever be on Project Runway.
30:13It has to do with your talent.
30:16And with the fact that I believe in your talent.
30:18And that I believe you need a little more time here.
30:25I'm using my Tim Gunn save.
30:27All right, yeah.
30:33That really was a beautiful moment.
30:35Justin, you took this opportunity and look what you did with it.
30:39I mean, you became a finalist.
30:41Did you feel a lot of pressure after the save?
30:44Of course.
30:44I didn't want to disappoint you, but I didn't want to disappoint everybody else throughout the competition.
30:53So I'm grateful that I was able to show everybody who I really am.
30:59Ken, how did you feel during all this?
31:01Oh, God.
31:02I don't.
31:02I'm getting choked up.
31:04But I believe that he has a bigger call on his life, bigger than Project Runway.
31:08You made the best decision.
31:10And I believe the other fellow designers feel the exact same way.
31:14No one was mad at you.
31:15I think that was the great part.
31:18We were mad at the judges.
31:20No one was mad at you.
31:21Well, some of you use social media to vent about what happened on the show.
31:26Oh, Lord.
31:27And I have some tweets.
31:29Oh, boy.
31:30We're going to go through them.
31:31All right, this is from Jeremy.
31:33Tomorrow's f***ing episode is all about Brayden's phony marriage proposal.
31:41Arrgh.
31:42Ken responds, child, I know.
31:46Yeah?
31:47Hopefully he gets his damn Oscar nomination.
31:50Oh, snap.
31:51Ouch.
31:53Wow.
31:53I'd like to take your inspiration and hopefully inspire others and propose to my partner here and now.
32:03Oh, my God.
32:03Oh, wow.
32:04Are you serious?
32:06Josh, will you marry me?
32:09Wow.
32:11It's been 18 years we've been together.
32:13I can't wait.
32:15I can't.
32:16Oh, Brayden.
32:17It's amazing.
32:19Jeremy.
32:20Oh, I'm sorry.
32:21I did think it was a little scene-stealing, to be honest.
32:28Brayden, how do you feel?
32:30I'm so happy to be engaged.
32:32I'm so happy that it's legal in the state of California.
32:36And, Jeremy, I do want to ask you, you have a husband.
32:39Did you really feel that Brayden was just trying to steal the scene?
32:43Yes.
32:44I don't agree, but...
32:46I was literally in the spotlight.
32:48I didn't think about it beforehand.
32:50My knees started shaking.
32:52My body started shaking.
32:53I could barely talk.
32:55And I'm really glad that I did it.
32:57I would have done the same thing.
32:59I don't know about the tweets.
33:01I didn't see it when it happened or whatever.
33:03But I'm sure you have some amount of happiness for us or something because it's what you have in your life.
33:09And I can't wait to have that, too.
33:12I've gotten so many amazing, warm comments.
33:16This woman wrote me a message and she said,
33:19My entire life, I thought it was God's plan that only men and women should marry.
33:24And after watching this episode, I've actually changed my perspective in life watching the love you two have for each other.
33:33That's lovely.
33:33Yeah.
33:34Wow.
33:34And we have a tweet from Ken.
33:38If you all can't tell by now, the judges have their pets on leashes.
33:43Oh.
33:45What did you mean by that?
33:47I'm pretty sure the viewers and some of the contestants up here know that the judges have their favorites.
33:52Say more.
33:53I'm curious.
33:54The judges have their favorites.
33:55I mean, they're going to look out for those contestants that they really like.
34:00Ken's tweet was justified.
34:02I mean, yeah, I'm going to admit it.
34:03I was definitely a favorite.
34:05Alexander, do you have any thoughts about this?
34:07I mean, I don't see how we could kind of manipulate the judges at all.
34:11But the judges do get favorites.
34:13And it's not because of our style or anything like that.
34:14It's because of who we are as a person.
34:17Did you perceive this between any other designer and judge?
34:21I think Dom was loved, too.
34:23I think Heidi really liked Dom.
34:24So, Dom, do you think you won because of your adorable, fabulous, heartwarming personality or because of your great work?
34:32I mean, I'm not trying to be, like, the person on, like, I can preach because I won or whatever.
34:38But I was in the bottom once and I won that challenge.
34:40So, I feel like my win was justified.
34:44Well, that's not what I meant when I said that, Tim.
34:45Thank you for twisting that.
34:47I didn't mean that you won because the judges liked your personality.
34:51I didn't mean that at all.
34:52No, Alexander, I wasn't implying that.
34:54The judges did like you, too.
34:56Yeah, and I mean...
34:57As a person, I'm saying...
34:58But I was not implying that.
34:59And I can say firsthand that Dom won because of her fabulous collection.
35:04The fact that you happen to be a lovely, wonderful person is an enhancement.
35:08Well, thank you.
35:08But it's because of your work.
35:11So, Alexander, I have a whole list of tweets from you that were bitter.
35:18And bitter towards the show, feeling that perhaps the show was rigged in some way.
35:24I felt it was.
35:26Why?
35:27Well, I just thought we all kind of were lumped into, stereotyped and pigeonholed into whatever character we were cast to play.
35:34How so?
35:34And I was just the costumer and none of the judges really took me seriously, I think.
35:38What do you mean?
35:38Well, it's a TV show.
35:39I mean, we're not going in, not everyone's going in blind.
35:42And, of course, things do change.
35:43I mean...
35:44I want to tell you something just about myself.
35:46I have entirely too much integrity to be part of a production that forecasts what's going to happen.
35:54We do not manipulate with the judges.
35:56Trust me.
35:57I mean, Heidi Klum, you're going to mess with her?
36:00No.
36:01I personally feel like, and I don't know about anyone else, but in order to have good TV, things have to be thought about and prearranged to get your ratings.
36:09All of that stuff is thought about.
36:10That is bull****.
36:13Coming up on the reunion special, can I please put a hole in your ego?
36:18You've got to be crazy.
36:19It's a job with 16 of us.
36:21We work for them.
36:21We're doing this, like, you know?
36:23Please.
36:23This is preposterous.
36:28Welcome back to the Project Runway Season 12 reunion.
36:32In order to have a good TV, things have to be thought about and prearranged to get your ratings.
36:37All of that stuff is thought about.
36:38That is bull****.
36:40You don't think so?
36:41Absolutely not.
36:42You are completely and totally wrong.
36:46The wonderful thing about this show is we lob out a challenge to you.
36:50We believe in your talent.
36:52And we see where you take us.
36:54So why producers ask us, whole biography, where you're born, all those pictures, the magazines.
37:01That's for the purposes of putting you on the show.
37:03It has nothing to do with sharing with the judges.
37:05The judges don't know you until the first challenge that you present.
37:08Challenge to challenge.
37:09They're not interested to go internet and Google it.
37:12They look at the portfolio of those designers and look what they've done.
37:14Can I please put a hole in your ego?
37:17Do you think the judges care that much to go on the internet and look you up?
37:21You've got to be crazy.
37:21It's a great job with 16 of us.
37:23We work for them.
37:24We're doing this.
37:25Like, you know?
37:25Please.
37:26You think they get five Emmys because of Heidi came with shiny dress on the runway?
37:30They get five Emmys because of us each season.
37:33This is preposterous.
37:34Listen, I'm the first to say that you all are the core of the show.
37:39We can't do the show without you.
37:40But it just doesn't happen.
37:42I mean, it's just disappointing.
37:43There are 15 of us that did not win.
37:46And there were more cases than not where it seemed very fishy who was in the top and who was in the bottom.
37:52And that's the judging process.
37:53This is the Fashion Olympics.
37:55They make their decisions.
37:56And someone is going home.
37:58And if this show were manipulated and rigged, Mondo Guerra would have won season eight.
38:05Plain and simple.
38:06Okie dokie.
38:07I give up.
38:08All right.
38:09Enough with the tweets.
38:12Woohoo!
38:14That boy moment was epic, though.
38:16Yeah.
38:17Did you have some fun this season?
38:19Yeah.
38:20Yeah.
38:21What's your favorite part?
38:22Honestly, and this is stupid, but it was making friends with you guys because it was so unexpected.
38:27I just, like, thought I was going to be eaten alive, and instead I actually really enjoyed myself.
38:33Kate, you had two experiences in two seasons.
38:37Yeah.
38:37So which one was your favorite?
38:39I don't have a favorite, but I liked the challenges a lot better from this season because I got to be myself,
38:48and I didn't have to fight anybody for it.
38:50I just got to do what I like to do.
38:52I mean, I can't choose.
38:53I'm grateful for both, honestly.
38:54That's lovely.
38:55What was your favorite part this season, Dom?
38:57Well, I know.
38:58I came into this kind of guarded.
39:00Coming into the competition, I wasn't 100% about Kate.
39:05Just haven't watched last season, but she's a lot nicer.
39:09I mean, that's not to say it's not a strategy.
39:11I mean, I'm going to listen to a lot of her advice.
39:13I may not take it.
39:15You never know who you can trust in this competition.
39:17And all my barriers were broken down, and I really just got, I became really close to a lot of people here, and I'm very grateful for that.
39:27Alexandria?
39:27I think it was cool to be pushed to see what one can do in one day, you know, and be taken out of your comfort zone and challenged.
39:40So I think that was fun to be challenged.
39:42I enjoyed it.
39:43I think I enjoyed most working in a very creative, intense environment with so many other wonderful creative people, because being a stay-at-home dad, I get finger painting.
39:55Whereas on Project Runway, we get a bit more, don't we?
39:57So, since you all have been out and about, and the show's on the air, have you had any funny encounters on the street?
40:06I think the funniest for me is people come up to me and say, you're not as crazy as I thought.
40:10I've had the opposite.
40:11They're like, oh, you really are that crazy.
40:14It's all real.
40:15There are a lot of 13-year-old girls out there who like unicorns.
40:19That's for sure.
40:21Did any of you have any weird experiences?
40:23I went home to a lot of weird emails from married men.
40:26Oh, wow.
40:27All my ex-boyfriends contacted me within 36 hours.
40:31All of them.
40:32Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam.
40:33I haven't replied.
40:35I don't think I intend to.
40:36Justin, what was your favorite part about being on Project Runway?
40:40I mean, I would have to agree with what everybody just said.
40:43I mean, just being in this creative environment and just being with these people without any interruption and just do what we love to do.
40:51And, I mean, honestly, I can say that just leaving this competition,
40:56I feel like I have one big crazy fashion family.
41:00You do.
41:02And I'm very happy about that.
41:03Well, I want to say that each of you has a very special place in my heart.
41:08I am so thrilled we were able to come together again.
41:11And it's sad to close the season.
41:13But I wish you all continued success and much, much love.
41:19Thank you, Tim.
41:20Well, this has been a very exciting evening, much like this season, and I am exhausted.
41:24We want to thank all of you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you next season.
41:28That's a wrap, everyone.
41:31Yeah, group hug, everybody.
41:32Officially over?
41:33Yeah.
41:36Who has my gray bob in?
41:38Do you age up and leave me alone?
41:40They got ripped a new ass.
41:41No time for by him.
41:43We want to kill someone and have their head on a platter.
41:46I feel like an incredible ass.
41:47Calm the down.
41:49You.
41:51I don't even know what the I'm doing.
41:53What the just happened?
41:54Embellish the out of it.
41:56No.
41:56That noise.
41:57You're safe, you dumb.
41:58I don't give a f***.
41:59I get to f***ing drink tonight.
42:02I'm going to need therapy after this.
