00:08Oh, my God!
00:09Oh, my God!
00:10Yes!
00:12I feel like all of a sudden I've just struck gold in myself.
00:15Both of you have. This is really great.
00:17It's weird to be my age and still struggle with insecurity, you know?
00:27Where's your confidence? You've got to find that, dude.
00:29Even she, we were like hammering her and she was like,
00:31I still love it, I love ACDC.
00:32You should never forget hair metal.
00:35How elegant is this dress?
00:37Thank you, that means so much.
00:39You're both in.
00:40Miranda, would you like to tell us who the winner is?
00:42The winner of this challenge is Richard.
00:47Daniel, your outfit looked cheap and dated.
00:50Michelle, your look was too 80s rock for us.
00:54Matt, you clearly lost your way. You're out.
00:57You're out.
01:01This is Project Runway.

01:43Yes.
01:44Yes.
01:45Well, Michelle, you don't have a partner.
01:49So I guess I have to fix that.

02:21Perfect seat set up.
02:22Wonderful.
02:23I love Michelle's sense of design, so I think this is good.
02:26We have a very special challenge for you that will teach you that fashion is timeless.
02:32You will need to meet Tim, and he will tell you all about the next challenge.
02:35Good luck, and I'll see you back here on the runway.
02:37Bye, everybody.
02:38Bye.
02:39Bye.
02:40We walk into this dance hall, and I'm seeing elderly people.
03:01I'm seeing jazzercise.
03:02Push it.
03:03Three, five, two.
03:04Oh.
03:05Yeah.
03:06Fabulous.
03:07Good morning, designers.
03:08Good morning.
03:09I want to welcome you to the Midtown Loft Dance Hall.
03:10Ladies, we so loved your dancing prowess.
03:11Congratulations.
03:12Designers in the real world, fashion designers work with clients of all ages, and Project Runway
03:13is no exception.
03:14Good fashion is both ageless and timeless.
03:15So for this challenge, these fabulous women are your new clients and models.
03:16Yes.
03:17Each member of each design team will create a look of as fashionable and stunning as a
03:20woman.
03:21I want to welcome you to the Midtown Loft Dance Hall.
03:22I want to welcome you to the Midtown Loft Dance Hall.
03:23Ladies, we so loved your dancing prowess.
03:24Congratulations.
03:25Designers in the real world, fashion designers work with clients of all ages, and Project Runway
03:29is no exception.
03:30Good fashion is both ageless and timeless.
03:34So for this challenge, these fabulous women are your new clients and models.
03:43Each member of each design team will create a look of as fashionable and stunning as
03:47one of these fabulous women.
03:49You've been randomly assigned clients, and it's up to your team to decide which designer works
03:54with which client.
03:56There is absolutely no need or expectation that these looks be cohesive.
04:00You need to channel who you are as a designer through the wants and needs of your client.
04:05You're going to have 30 minutes to consult with your new clients, get to know their wants
04:09and needs, and also to sketch.
04:12Then we'll be going off to move.
04:14You have one day for this challenge.
04:17All right.
04:18Are you ready to meet your new clients?
04:19Yes.
04:20First up, we have Benjamin and Amanda.
04:23You are working with Holly and Rosalie.
04:28Kate and Tu, you're working with Cheryl and Bonnie Lee.
04:31Hello.
04:32Daniel and Samantha, you are working with Susan and Patricia.
04:37How are you doing?
04:38Richard and Stanley, you are working with Iris and Deborah.
04:42Hello.
04:43Hello.
04:44And our three-person design team, Patricia, Liana, and Michelle, you are working with Beatrice,
04:49Sue, and Joan.
04:51Hi.
04:52Hi.
04:53So design teams and clients, head off.
04:56Carry on, everyone.
04:57I mean, before we figure out who's doing what, I guess we need to figure out what you guys
05:06want.
05:07Oh, look at this.
05:08Yes.
05:09I would like something elegant that I could wear to a fashionable movie premiere.
05:14How do you feel about color?
05:16You've got...
05:17I love color.
05:18I paint.
05:19I hate oral painting.
05:20Oh, I like you in a print.
05:21Would you be open to a print?
05:22You should have the option of dancing.
05:23Of dancing.
05:24Okay.
05:25Okay.
05:26I want a celebration outfit.
05:28You just want to be elegant and sexy.
05:32Do you want a dress?
05:34Do you want pants?
05:35I like this.
05:36Hair or pants a lot.
05:39So maybe it'd be really cool even if we had, like, a strip of some color.
05:43As long as it's flattering, I don't know.
05:45Cindy Crawford, watch out.
05:47I love that you do black and white, because I do black and white.
05:49I like leopard.
05:50Leopard.
05:51Oh!
05:52I love leopard.
05:53That's a good thing.
05:54Do you like print?
05:55Um...
05:56Not really.
05:57I'm talking about, like, a gypsy thing.
05:59Oh, yeah.
06:00She's a bohemian girl.
06:01Oh, my God.
06:02You're going to be so good with it.
06:03Oh, feel good?
06:04Yeah.
06:05Ladies, we're going to let you get back to your dancing while I take the designers off
06:09to move.
06:10You'll see your clients later today for a fitting.
06:13All right, designers, off we go.
06:15Bye, ladies.
06:16Bye.
06:17Bye.
06:21Designers, you have 15 minutes remaining.
06:29Ah!
06:30Designers, time is up.
06:33Everyone needs to be at the counter checking out, please.
06:37This is cool.
06:38Yeah.
06:39It's like Daniel, but it's not.
06:40But it's not.
06:41It's so luxurious.
06:42Does this make it more interesting?
06:43I like the neckline.
06:44I'd be careful to be too big.
06:46Our challenge today is to design a timeless look for one of these mature ladies.
06:52Hi, everybody.
06:53Hi.
06:54How is everyone?
06:55Good.
06:56Good.
06:57I'm here to check in with you, okay?
06:58Okay.
06:59All right.
07:00So, Richard and Stanley.
07:01Who are your clients?
07:02Ms. Iris?
07:03Mm-hmm.
07:04She wants to be comfortable.
07:05That was a big thing for her.
07:07I love the Jersey Neck because it's a bit comfortable.
07:09I love the Jersey Neck because it's comfortable.
07:10I love the Jersey Neck because it's comfortable.
07:11It's comfortable.
07:12all right.
07:13All right.
07:14Hi, everybody.
07:15Hi.
07:16Hi.
07:17Hi.
07:18Hi, everybody.
07:19Hi.
07:20Hi.
07:21Hi.
07:22Hi, everybody.
07:23Hi.
07:24Hi.
07:25Hi.
07:26Hi.
07:27Hi.
07:28Hi.
07:29Hi.
07:30maybe doing even a line this thick,
07:31just to add a little hint of color going down the side.
07:34As soon as you start talking about running these very wide trims down the garment...
07:41It cheapens it, you think?
07:42No, I actually think it helps it.
07:44Yeah.
07:44Just look at the width of this so that it doesn't overwhelm her.
07:48Okay.
07:49Stanley, what are you up to?
07:50I said, what if we just make a tailor pant with darts and a strapless?
07:54And she goes, I want a jacket over it.
07:55Have you cut anything, Stanley? No.
07:57No, I've made the pattern.
07:58I'm going to cut everything and have it ready for the fitting.
08:00Just do as much as you can to prepare for the fitting.
08:02Okay.
08:03Okay.
08:03Thank you, gentlemen.
08:04Thanks, Mr. Gunn.
08:05So how are Kate and two?
08:07We're doing good, Tim.
08:09Cheryl, she doesn't like to do sexy with skin.
08:12And what is this?
08:13This is going to be the fabric for the skirt.
08:16We have this intensely dark top.
08:19It reads winter in a way.
08:21It reads heavy.
08:22And then we have the skirt that's light, buoyant, and reads spring.
08:25What I see you doing with this
08:28is basically cutting her in half with these two parts.
08:32So, Tua, let's talk to you.
08:33Yeah.
08:34So what are you making?
08:35Is it a coat dress?
08:36Yes.
08:37Oh, okay.
08:37Yes.
08:38This is incredibly ambitious tailoring.
08:42So can you do all this?
08:44Yes.
08:45Okay.
08:45All right.
08:46I like positive thinking.
08:47Yes.
08:47Thank you both.
08:51Daniel, Samantha, how are you?
08:52Real good.
08:53Hello, Tim.
08:54So what are you doing for Sue?
08:55She said, Daniel, I want a sexy black suit.
08:58I'm doing her this molded jacket.
09:00Oh, and the pants are just classic, straight, very, very simple.
09:04Okay.
09:05Samantha, what are you doing?
09:05Hi.
09:06Hello.
09:06So Patricia said she loves leopard, and I love leopard.
09:10I know you do.
09:12So as soon as she said that there was no need to go any further, like...
09:15It's done.
09:16It's done.
09:17The only thing I wouldn't reject is the idea of possibly using some evidence of the black,
09:25I'm not saying all black, to split these up.
09:27That was my initial was to break it up.
09:29You were right.
09:30Okay.
09:30Do it.
09:31I'm happy.
09:32All right.
09:34So how's team threesome?
09:35What's up?
09:40Let's keep going.
09:41Okay.
09:42Let's just...
09:43Okay, Michelle.
09:44My client is Sue.
09:46I'm not a huge print lady, but this print spoke to me.
09:51When I first came in the workroom, the skirt wasn't on this.
09:54Right.
09:54I just saw the top, and I thought, woe is me.
09:59Oh, God.
10:00But when you put the skirt on, it transformed it.
10:02Oh, good.
10:03So, Liana.
10:04My client is Joan.
10:06Her skin complexed a little darker than me, so this is going to just look so beautiful.
10:11It will be beautiful, aren't it?
10:11Yes.
10:12And you?
10:14Beatrice.
10:14Beatrice.
10:15She said she wanted something to wear in the evening to go out dancing.
10:18What is it?
10:19This will be sort of like a shawl that goes over.
10:23But it's a poncho.
10:25Well, I was thinking about the shawl.
10:26It's not a shawl.
10:27It's a poncho streganza.
10:29So, what's underneath this?
10:30She has a sleeveless top.
10:32She has a sleeveless top, and then she has a full wraparound skirt.
10:36The more volume your clothes have, the more volume you appear to have.
10:40It does not hide anything.
10:42All right.
10:43Thanks, Tim.
10:44Thank you, Tim.
10:44Coming up on Project Runway.
10:46Tim is concerned.
10:48This isn't good.
10:49I'm hating this look.
10:51She needs to go home.
10:57So, how are Amanda and Ben?
11:00Good.
11:00We're good.
11:01Ben.
11:02I have Holly.
11:03She's a little bit straight up and down.
11:04It's all about silhouette, proportion, and fit.
11:08You're working with a style that, if it's not proportioned right, could look really matronly.
11:14And you did such a beautiful job on the gown, the last challenge, and keeping it modern.
11:19I really want to keep the momentum of that going.
11:21Yeah, you need to.
11:23And you?
11:24I was crazy about this fabric.
11:26You were?
11:27I was.
11:27But right now, I'm looking at it, and it feels vintage housecoat to me.
11:35I'm not going to disagree.
11:37I know.
11:38I would wear it, but I don't think she would.
11:40What did we all do with a vintage housecoat to make it modern?
11:43I mean, I think...
11:44Give us some shape.
11:44I can sort of nip it in a bit.
11:45Yeah.
11:46If the shape is more like this, very nipped in at the waist and kicked out at the bottom,
11:49does that make you less nervous?
11:51Yes.
11:51Yeah.
11:51What you don't want to have happen is have her sell you out on the runway.
11:54Thank you both.
11:55Thanks, Kim.
11:55Thanks.
11:56Bye.
11:56You are very tiny.
12:07Oh, my God.
12:09Don't wake me up, okay?
12:11Because I know I'm dreaming.
12:12She just said it.
12:13Wild.
12:14Wild.
12:14Wild.
12:15Wild.
12:15Wild.
12:16But I think it's going to be great.
12:18Do you want to come and have a quick look in the mirror?
12:20Good job, man.
12:22I'm sorry.
12:23I'm sorry.
12:24I'm sorry.
12:25I had to do that.
12:26Oh, that's okay.
12:27It was tempting.
12:27Okay.
12:29I got goosed.
12:30That's funny.
12:32You like that night?
12:33Yes.
12:35This is going to be more like that.
12:37Wow.
12:37How will it be?
12:40I mean...
12:41I see that my team members were totally right.
12:47It looks more like a horizontal bib.
12:50I'm hating this look.
12:52It's just a mess.
12:53Leave it loose.
12:54Okay.
12:54I'll leave it loose then.
12:56And I'm not liking it.
12:57You're not happy.
13:02But I don't know what to do, because if I have to have certain things, I'm not sure how
13:08to, like, manage the proportion.
13:14Okay.
13:15Here we are.
13:15It's time to go, everybody.
13:17I'm nervous.
13:18I'm scared.
13:20Tomorrow, I'm just going to take the chance of starting over with a new look.
13:24I should have done my own thing.
13:36Here.
13:37Is these on?
13:37Yes.
13:38Oh, don't.
13:39Do instead of yourself.
13:41So much.
13:47Good morning, designers.
13:50Good morning, Tim.
13:51You will have two hours to send your clients to the L'Oreal Paris hair and makeup rooms and
13:56prep them for the runway.
13:58Use the Lord and Taylor wool very thoughtfully.
14:00I'll see you a little later.
14:01All right.
14:02All right.
14:03Thank you, Tim.
14:03Bye.
14:04Oh, you.
14:06I run out of fabric for the sleeves.
14:09It's ugly.
14:10It's just one mistake after another.
14:19How are you doing, Patricia?
14:20I'm going to pull it off.
14:21I changed the look.
14:23Maybe a little more oomph?
14:33I think more oomph.
14:34More Marilyn Monroe.
14:36You get some volume in it with the root lifting spray.
14:39Perfect.
14:43We're going to use a little bit of liner intense.
14:46Get a gorgeous, gorgeous liquid line.
14:51Hello, big boy.
14:53Designers and clients, in 15 minutes, we're going down to the runway, everyone.
15:02Thank you, Tim.
15:07Cool.
15:08I like it.
15:09Damn it.
15:10I just am not thinking anymore.
15:11I think I like the gold color on the outside, too.
15:16When I put the dress on her, there's not enough room in the sleeve head.
15:19There's just not enough room in this section.
15:22The bottom of the sleeve, the bodice of the dress, which fitted beautifully the night before,
15:27is now being pulled really taut.
15:29And I can see that it needs to be changed.
15:33But I've only got five minutes left until we have to walk out the door.
15:36There's nothing I can do about it.
15:37Man.
15:38Man.
15:39Damn.
15:40Come on, zipper.

22:54the higher scores first and then I'm going to bring you back out you guys can leave the runway thank you
22:59Daniel and Samantha please tell us about your looks when I met Susan she told me that she was going on a
23:08cruise and that she wanted a sexy black suit so I thought it was a cool idea to do just a really cool
23:13black jacket but kind of just had the lapel comes up a nice shoulder line and then just a classic skinny
23:18pant something she could put on and go Susan how do you like your outfit I think it's stunning and I feel hip
23:24you gave it a little twist by doing this neckline just on one side you also very smart giving her one
23:32what she wants and two I can see you still in this design which is what your challenge was thank you welcome
23:41back I really like this jacket you accentuated the best of her and I love that you gave her a little
23:49bit of color you look great you probably exercise but you look like a first wife I would like to see
23:58you look more like a gilf the three details that really stand out to me which are the neckline the fabric
24:05manipulated waist and then the detail at the elbow that's your way of saying this is more than just
24:12a simple black suit okay Samantha tell us about your look I start off by asking what types of colors
24:17or prints of patterns do you gravitate towards and she said leopard and I was like we don't need to go
24:21any further she just lost 30 pounds and so she wanted to show off her arms her legs and her tattoos
24:28Patricia how do you like your outfit absolutely love it I wanted something that was gonna really show
24:34off everything then I feel great I think she is a menopausal kitten I think she looks great that
24:42dress says I'm not dead yet the way you walk the runway that you have a little bit more of a spunky
24:47personality you're a little sassy from a fashion point of view though I do not like it I love leopard
24:55I just don't love it in that silhouette I don't love the poofy sleeves it's not working for me her hair her
25:02ankle bracelet her tattoos are giving a very racy vibe and all of a sudden you have this little
25:09princess sleeve and this little bow it's like a very mixed message thank you Patricia and Susan you
25:15can leave the runway thank you thank you so much Richard and Stanley tell us about your looks so we
25:21went to the little dance studio and immediately when I walked in I connected eyes with Deborah she just had
25:26this elegance about her that just drew me to her so I came up with a little strapless jumpsuit with a
25:31cigarette pant and a little bolero Deborah how do you feel about your look I love it if I saw this
25:36outfit I would definitely buy it I have to say I like what you did I wish the pants situation was a
25:43little bit better I mean like longer longer yes because I want to keep running to the stage and
25:48just pull the pants down yeah I want to just go because it feels like it's been crawling up also the
25:54crutch area is not as perfect as I would like to see it okay but overall I think it looks great thank
26:00you now she screamed second wife you know I mean she looks age-appropriate sexy I just think bingo
26:08Richard tell us about your look one of the things that miss iris said to me was that she wanted
26:13something that if she wanted to wear a small heel it could dress up or if she wanted to wear boots or
26:18leggings in the wintertime she can wear that and you know dress it down but my main thing with her
26:23was I wanted to make sure that she was comfortable wearing it iris how do you like your look I like it
26:29a lot it's extremely comfortable I love the colors and I also think it's a little sexy it's easy it's chic
26:39and it shows her legs you know at this age you're happy to show whatever's guards left you she actually
26:46wanted a little bit longer and she's wrong and once you put it on it's why I said you've got
26:49great you look great so show them bitch don't be a fool exactly right I told you you know I wrote
26:56it down it's nice it's interesting and I would love to have it too I think it's a very easy silhouette
27:02it is something that would work on many body types however I know she wants easy and I know she wants
27:09comfortable but I think this ends up drowning her a little bit I don't know if you would have had
27:15the leggings and the boots I would say like wow this woman looks really cool but she doesn't have
27:21the leggings or the boots I don't know I I just think you could have pushed yourself a little more
27:25Richard Deborah and Iris thank you you can leave the runway you're very welcome thank you designers
27:34we've heard what you had to say we're going to talk to the teams for the lower scores and then I call
27:39you back out you can leave the runway thank you thank you Benjamin Amanda please tell us about your
27:46looks she's a painter and a musician and has traveled the world and once I found this print I thought it
27:52was kind of a fun abstract way to do things I just wanted to give it some flirty shape an interesting
27:59neckline Rosalie how do you like your look I like this very much it's comfortable casual and I think this
28:08can be one in so many different places I think putting an abstract print on a dress for a painter
28:15there's something quite clever about that but unfortunately that's really where it stops for
28:21me because from the neck to the hem it's a mistake one after the other it's a bad hemline the sleeve is
28:29well it's it's just wrong it's too flowy on the arms it's too flowy on the skirt looks very hippie in a
28:36way I almost want to see you with like dream catchers and like I don't know and you know how
28:42you kind of left it long in the front and in the back you kind of put these pieces together like why
28:47why did you do that we did start with a slimmer silhouette and she wanted a little more kick it was
28:52some 11th hour like it looks like she sets on something glue and it's stuck together by accident in
28:59the back it looks like a mistake you can't have a print like that plus the flowy and then this sort
29:05of hard-edged keyhole in the front I feel like you tried to make a cake with whatever was in the
29:09kitchen rather than getting the right ingredients it's too girly it's not dignified looks like it's for
29:16a child Benjamin tell us about your look Harley and I have got on like a house on fire she's got such
29:23an exuberant personality and such a young spirit and she wanted a party dress the turquoise color was
29:29by request from Holly and I would like to do classic with a bit of a twist but I guess literally I've put
29:34a twist here because to give it a little bit of interest with the detail Holly what do you think of
29:39your look he read me and I feel like an elegant young princess in this and I'm far from young I have
29:48to say I think that you are adorable but I hate to burst your bubble I don't love this dress on you at all
29:54I'm sorry to me this dress on you looks like you just can't wait for the party to be over so you can
30:00take this dress off it looks so tight it looks tight around your chest it looks tight around your waist
30:06it looks so tight on your arms I mean this seems are just like screaming but I move comfortably in it
30:13it doesn't look like it though you know yourself very well Holly this is your color
30:17there's just so many different things wrong with the construction I think you try to manipulate this
30:23fabric too much and it looks like it's not happy I mean I guess it's perhaps working better with the
30:30skirt now the skirt is also lopsided you've got a lot of construction issues here Benjamin okay it
30:36makes you look heavy and stiff like you're hiding the Liberty Bell underneath you I take your criticism
30:42but I refuse to blame Benjamin Holly Rosalie thank you very much both of you can leave the runway
30:50Benjamin Amanda how did you two work together we probably had to be a little bit more focused
31:00individually this time I think I really could have used more of Benjamin's assistance yeah I was checking
31:07in probably on the hour every hour how you going Amanda what about your input to Ben's look I really
31:13I felt good about me yeah and there were moments where you know like you know should I put this on or
31:19and Amanda would be quite quick to to answer okay we've heard what you had to say to Kate let's bring out
31:28your models please tell us about your looks I asked her which is her favorite color so I go for green the
31:36fabric I choose wool because I want to give the rich texture to it but I think the problem is very
31:43bad sewing and I really like sorry to let her down Bonnie what do you think of your look he understood
31:52my color he understood what I wanted to feature when I wanted to hide he did have to work very very fast
31:59so I was a bit let down with the final result well I think that color is very flattering but I do think
32:07there is an overabundance of fabric that is swallowing you up it's kind of accurate it kind of does have an
32:16easiness to it but it almost looks to me as if you just kind of put it across and held it together with
32:23the belt what happens if you undo the belt will it all fall apart yes yes oh if that happens it's
32:30like yeah I cannot believe you sent this woman out here with the belt holding her dress clothes you're
32:35a daring woman you and I could sit down and we'll say so you know who died it's an old lady dress and
32:42he's 11 years old it's like my very first time making something for a measure lady you don't even
32:50say it yes you haven't got a clue in hell who you're designing for my question though is did you step in
32:59to help we had a very limited amount of time but I did end up finishing like 10 minutes early and I
33:06tried to help to do last-minute fitting things 10 minutes just wasn't enough Kate tell us about your
33:14look she's an interior designer and so she really appreciates structure and texture and lines so the
33:21skirt has this fitted section right here and I boned it there to give her an hourglass Cheryl how do you
33:29like your look I'm pleased beyond I feel I could walk right out of here like I've owned it forever
33:33I love the fabric it is joyful but at the same time appropriate your client is so happy and you're
33:44like John Travolta in a massage parlor I mean you are just it's wonderful Kate I actually liked your
33:51look I didn't give it a bad score I think Kate that you would not be in the bottom today if it wasn't
33:58for two that's okay I think we work really well together I really felt like I wasn't getting any
34:04respect on my team but to respected me and it was the first time I felt that in this whole competition
34:09okay we've heard what you had to say I'm gonna have a little chat and then I call you back out thank
34:16you you can leave the runway okay first let's start with a team that had the higher scores let's talk
34:25about Richard and Stanley's looks I thought Deborah looked really great in the jumpsuit and
34:31the jacket she looks sophisticated and she looked comfortable she was a really elegant woman and I
34:37think he captured that regalness that she had in his design small little changes could have perhaps
34:42made it a slight bit better the pant length and the pleats in the front because the tailoring in the
34:46back was spot-on he made an almost impeccable pantsuit but that's very hard that's much harder
34:54than just making a shift dress yes yeah he wasn't playing it safe let's talk about Richard I thought
35:00there was more potential there mm-hmm I see I thought it was so youthful I would almost wear that dress with
35:05leggings and with boots like how they were talking about I'm like yeah like some boots why didn't you rock
35:11that I love the dress because it would work under a coat it would work at a business meeting it's for
35:16every age that is true it's very versatile okay let's talk about Samantha and Daniel I actually
35:22didn't like Samantha's at all is it the color it's the princess sleeve with the bow yeah where are we
35:29going oh it looks like she stole her daughter's dress all right she took her daughter's dress but
35:37she's in an ankle bracelet and a tattoo and a buzz haircut and yes she should wear a dress that looks
35:49like that let's talk about Daniel's look Daniel came back from the grave it was back to the beautiful
35:56tailoring expensive looking for the work that was good had gone into the jacket which was lovely with
36:02the detailing it didn't pop okay let's talk about the designs that we didn't like so much let's talk
36:08about Benjamin and Amanda I mean that was hard that was very hard really difficult you have Holly who's so
36:17cute and she just stands by her Benjamin I mean it looked like there was no blood going through our
36:22arms like it was tight like this she was so trapped in that dress yeah and she didn't need the extra 175
36:29pounds in that big structure skirt with tool under it okay let's talk about Amanda she didn't take her
36:36client into consideration at all she looked like she came out of a time machine and she still was wearing
36:41the dress that she had worn going in you know when she was 15 yes it did look like a little girl's dress
36:48why did she join the back like that you hide the mistake like two little pieces of napkin okay let's
36:53talk about two and Kate and we actually all like we love Kate I feel badly for two but I think once he
37:01got closer to what would be appropriate he was on the right track but anytime that you design something
37:06that does rely on another piece to keep it together right but even more telling is that Bonnie did not
37:14feel comfortable she was not happy beautiful no it did everything terrible that a dress could do to
37:22her figure when I look at the three worst ones here I didn't think it was as bad as Benjamin's but
37:29I would agree I would absolutely agree with that I thought Amanda was the worst that was way off at
37:36least Amanda's had some creativity to it with Benjamins we've all been to weddings where everybody's
37:42grandmother is wearing that dress I have no trust in Amanda as a designer I don't know I also don't have
37:48trust in Benjamin either I mean he's been here week after week same as Amanda both of them it's
37:54difficult very difficult we've made our decision good let's bring them back out
38:06designers one of you will be the winner of this challenge and one of you will be out
38:12one of you will be the winner of this challenge the one of you will be out Stanley you are the winner of
38:29this challenge Stanley and Richard you're both in you can leave the runway thank you
38:38thank you so excited that I won I can really show them what I can do now I'm I'm in the club I'm in
38:47the I won club Daniel Samantha you're both in you can leave the runway thank you Kate to both of you
39:01Amanda Benjamin you're the losing team and one of you will be out Amanda your dress had some major
39:21construction issues and it didn't fit your clients personality Benjamin even though Holly liked your dress
39:28yes we did not and it looked very tight and uncomfortable Benjamin you're out
39:54Amanda that means you're in you can leave the runway
39:57Benjamin Benjamin I'm sorry
40:09I'll feed us in all the best years thank you it's been a pleasure
40:18I'm not ready to go home at all I really feel like I was getting my stride in the
40:27competition and I pleased the client which was what my job was
40:30in my heart it just doesn't feel like the right thing happened but I have to just be graceful in
40:45in accepting the decision whether I think it's right or wrong it was so unexpected all I can say is wow
40:53wow I know have a seat for a minute yeah from this point forward really it's going to be anyone's game you're just not going to know yeah so I have to send you to the work room to clean up your space thank you thank you
41:10I have so much more to show and I wish that I had the opportunity to show it within project runway but
41:26there's a whole other life that comes after this and that's where I'll show it
41:31next time on project runway
41:35you're going to be creating a prom look using duct tape
41:41I just see a lackluster effect
41:45Michelle and Amanda are bitches
41:48you're not even remotely there yet
41:51this makes me nervous
41:52looks like bride of the tin woodman
41:53oh my god
