00:00This is Project Runway. The winner of Project Runway will receive a fashion
00:04spread in Marie Claire magazine, an opportunity to sell their line on
00:07bluefly.com, the $50,000 technology suite to create, design and run their
00:12business from HP and Intel, and $100,000 from L'Oreal Paris to launch their line.
00:17Get up, sleeperhead. Good morning, good morning, good morning to you.
00:30Being one of the winners of the last challenge obviously feels wonderful. Pinch me right here.
00:38I have to maintain the same thought process that allowed me to design the last gown, but pump up
00:46the volume. Emilio, welcome to a morning at home with Anthony.
00:54Hi. This is the final challenge. This is what we've all been working for. Bryant Park,
01:01it's gonna be my defining moment. I'm still kind of reeling at the mere fact that I am
01:07in the last five and that this is the last challenge. The stakes are higher than ever
01:12right now and there's definitely a lot of pressure, but I'm just trying to visualize that I am the
01:18finalist on Project Runway, showing your collection of Bryant Park. Put your face on, your purses,
01:24and let's go. Oh. Parsons, here we come. Hello. Hi. And then there were five. This challenge will decide who goes to Fashion Week. How do you feel about that? Wow.
01:45Scary as hell. Excited. You all deserve to be here. For your next challenge, I'm gonna send you to a tent. It may not be Bryant Park tent, but hopefully it will help you get there. Tim will meet you there to fill you in on all of the details. Good luck and I see you on the runway. Bye.
01:52Bye. Lord Jesus, something rugged is gonna happen. I'm like, I don't have rugged clothes. You do not wear Gucci drivers to the mountain.
01:59We arrive at the última, at the original. I am one of the first time in the old town.
02:04That's our first challenge for you to be 쐈ł. Here we go.
02:06That's not the last challenge. It's the first challenge, but that's the first challenge.
02:09It's the first challenge. It's the first challenge you guys do in the future.
02:10It has to be you 쿠key, the first challenge I just love you guys.
02:13We're going to take on the next day, but hopefully it will help you get there.
02:16Tim will meet you there to fill you in on all of the details. Good luck, and I see you on the runway. Bye!
02:21Lord Jesus, something rugged is gonna happen. I'm like, I don't have rugged clothes. You do not wear Gucci drivers to the mountain.
02:29the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
02:34Oh, my God.
02:37Lord help me.
02:48Oh, Lord.
02:54We're going the wrong way now.
02:57Welcome to Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
03:01The greatest show on earth is putting on a special show just for you.
03:09Your challenge is to create a high-end runway look inspired by the circus.
03:15Awesome.
03:16Your inspiration can come from anything or everything that you see here today.
03:20So take it all in.
03:22This is so amazing.
03:23I was hoping it would be circus because the circus is just full of inspiration.
03:27So enjoy the show.
03:31Ladies and gentlemen, designers of all ages, welcome to Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey,
03:39the greatest show on earth!
03:44Wow!
03:45And she's going to bomb it.
03:50I think there's about eight topless guys, and all I could do is like stare at every single one of them, because they had such amazing friends.
03:57This is like a whirlwind of explosion.
03:58I mean, it's crazy.
03:59There's clowns.
04:00There's clowns.
04:01There's some funny-ass clowns.
04:02All over your rhinestone.
04:03There's a lot of clowns.
04:04There's a lot of clowns.
04:05There's a lot of clowns.
04:06There's a lot of clowns.
04:07There's a lot of clowns.
04:08There's a lot of clowns.
04:09There's a lot of clowns.
04:10And then she's going to bomb it.
04:11I think there's about eight topless guys.
04:13And all I could do is like stare at every single one of them, because they had such amazing
04:15bodies.
04:16This is like a whirlwind of explosion.
04:18I mean, it's crazy.
04:19There's clowns.
04:20There's some funny-ass clowns.
04:21All over your rhinestone.
04:22There's motorcycles going all around this cage, every direction.
04:23I don't need to know what to expect next.
04:36It's just overwhelming.
04:40I'm a kid all over again.
04:50Designers, I'm going to give you 30 minutes to sketch.
04:57Okay?
04:58But it's relatively easy to create a circus costume.
05:01It's a lot harder to create fashion inspired by the circus.
05:05So you need to think fashion.
05:08Okay?
05:09And your 30 minutes starts now.
05:13What I took from the circus is the use of stripes and polka dots.
05:18Black, white, cranberry, and playing with scale.
05:23I have experience with circus clothing, being in the theater.
05:27So that's what's going to set me apart from my other contestants.
05:31I am most mesmerized by the ringleader himself.
05:36Not just because of his amazing tail coat, but because of his larger-than-life presence.
05:41So I decided to go with a coat, a blouse, and a pair of pants.
05:45The acrobat came out in this kind of grayish-blue swirl print.
05:50She was just throwing herself everywhere.
05:52I was like, work!
05:53And I knew in that moment, this is my inspiration.
05:56I fell in love with the clowns.
06:00I just like the idea of how exaggerated they look.
06:03So I'm creating big pleats, big waistbands, and pair it back to a really beautiful jacket.
06:10You could go any direction.
06:12This is so over the top.
06:14You need to extract elements from this, colors from this, and bring it down to a fashion level.
06:21Designers, sketching time is up.
06:24Let's head off to Mood.
06:29Designers, you have $300 and 30 minutes to shop.
06:33The success of this challenge begins and ends here at Mood.
06:37Your 30 minutes begins now.
06:43This is our last challenge.
06:45There's five of us left.
06:47I'm that close to Bryant Park.
06:50I'm looking for a menswear-inspired texture.
06:55I need leather.
06:56I need black leather.
06:57And this gold trim that I'm going to use for the tabs that I'm going to create for the jacket.
07:02Lady with a gold fabric.
07:04I know I'm looking for stripes, so I want to see every stripe they have.
07:09I like this.
07:10And then I found one piece, and then everything just fell into place.
07:13That's the silhouette that I'm going for.
07:15Anthony.
07:16This is the final.
07:17You need to turn up the volume.
07:18This is my last opportunity to wow the judges.
07:23Right now, I think that my destiny is in Bryant Park.
07:27Because if it wasn't, I wouldn't be here right now.
07:30It's time.
07:31No more shopping.
07:32Mila, just cutting only.
07:34I'm excited about this.
07:38I've been knocking them out.
07:39Bam, bam, bam, bam.
07:40That's why you're still here?
07:41Yeah.
07:42All right.
07:44Thank you for everything.
07:47All right, designers.
07:52Your last challenge in this work room.
07:55You have two days for this one.
07:57Yes!
07:58Woo!
07:59Woo!
08:00Make it work, everybody.
08:02I'm so glad that we have two days on this because I feel like, you know, I can be more ambitious with what I'm doing.
08:13And then that's red leather, and then she has the boots.
08:16I love what I sketch, and so I'm going to translate that to life without changing it or compromising too much.
08:24Everybody has black, white, some form of stripes, red, gold, yellow, and I am the only person with, like, this really different color palette.
08:34I pray that my look gets me to Bryant Park.
08:37Okay, Fabric, talk to me.
08:38Talk to daddy.
08:39I think this is the one challenge that everyone needs to put it all out there.
08:44Can't get too cost to me.
08:46That's the thing.
08:47Come hard or go home.
08:49There's no second chances.
08:51You gotta come hard.
08:52I know I came with one purpose, and that was to win it all.
08:56I'm not trying to be shy about it.
09:00Oh, you're not shy about it.
09:02What?
09:03What are you trying to say?
09:04You mention it frequently.
09:06Emilio is quite confident, you know, because he's won so many challenges.
09:11I'm going to showstopper.
09:13When she comes out of that runway, I want people to pee on themselves.
09:18But he also, because of his frequent wins, it's like every time he wins, I go, oh, my God, his ego is getting bigger and bigger.
09:25Now it's like a choo-choo train.
09:27Choo-choo.
09:28I'm rolling.
09:29I mean, enough is enough.
09:31I mean, we all want it, but you don't have to gloat constantly.
09:35I'm trying to be nice to Mila.
09:36So when I win at Bryant Park, she won't feel so bad.
09:40Toot, toot.
09:42Coming up on Project One Way.
09:44Emilio just had a viewing party.
09:46Of course he did.
09:48Badass.
09:49Bad bitch.
09:50You went to the circus, where's the color?
09:53Any direction I go in, I'm wrong.
09:55And I'm making a top hat.
09:56This isn't coming up.
09:58Okay.
09:59You gotta have like a yard stick.
10:01I might as well spit my ass on my fabric and measure.
10:04That's a douche.
10:05Thank you Emilio So.
10:06This last challenge determines who will show at Bryant Park.
10:12There's definitely a lot of pressure and it would be so disappointing to not make it and
10:18be this close to Bryant Park.
10:20We actually made it.
10:21We're the final five.
10:22You know, so we're all feeling like, you know, everybody wants to bring on their best game.
10:25You wanna see from this side?
10:26You folded the white end.
10:27Mm-hmm.
10:28But I love it.
10:29Wow.
10:30Emilio's working on his dress.
10:31It looks beautiful.
10:32He just had a viewing party.
10:33Of course he did.
10:34Oh.
10:35Oh.
10:36Oh.
10:37Oh.
10:38Oh.
10:39Oh.
10:40Oh.
10:41Oh.
10:42Oh.
10:43Oh.
10:44Oh.
10:45Oh.
10:46Oh.
10:47Oh.
10:48Oh.
10:49Oh.
10:50Oh.
10:51Oh.
10:52Oh.
10:53Oh.
10:54Oh.
10:55Oh.
10:56Oh.
10:57Oh.
10:58Oh.
10:59How is everyone?
11:00Well, I'm gonna walk around and see how you're doing and engage with you for a few minutes,
11:05okay?
11:06Sounds great.
11:07All right.
11:08Seth Aaron.
11:09Tim, how are you?
11:10I was most inspired by the ringmaster.
11:11Oh, yeah.
11:12As well as the jugglers.
11:13Oh, yeah.
11:14I wanna go extravagant.
11:15Okay.
11:16I wanna make a factor.
11:17I wanna make him say, what the hell is he doing?
11:19So, I'm gonna do a long coat and I'm gonna accident it with boning so it gets waves.
11:23Okay.
11:24This is all gonna flare out.
11:25Okay.
11:26Really extravagant.
11:27And in the front, I do wanna do a tie and I'm making a top hat.
11:34All right.
11:37Well, let me ask you this question.
11:38How do you imagine styling this for the runway with the coat?
11:41Is the coat the powerful statement?
11:42The coat is my key piece.
11:43Right.
11:44So, can I just ask you to think about this?
11:48No costume.
11:49Oh, no, no.
11:50No costume.
11:51It's you.
11:52No question about that.
11:53All right.
11:54Thank you, Seth Aaron.
11:56Go, go, go.
11:57Have a great day.
11:58Hi, Tim.
11:59This fabric is staggering.
12:01Why don't you see the front?
12:03I'm engineering it so it's, I'm losing all the white in the bodice up to the high hip and
12:11then it's gonna explode into a Watto back.
12:14Is this the only way that you're using this cranberry color?
12:17No, that's gonna be the bone bodice and then the lining of the skirt on the inside.
12:22Basically, this is a black and white look.
12:24You went to the circus.
12:25Where's the color?
12:29What I got out of the circus was, of course, the stripe and the polka dots.
12:32I didn't want to do the color.
12:33I wanted to extract the color.
12:35But Emilio, this is your opportunity to use color.
12:37We wanna see you embrace more color.
12:39But I've done color all along.
12:40I've never done black and white.
12:42I've always done color.
12:43I've never done something black and white, Tim.
12:45All right, but the last win, somber.
12:48Somber?
12:49Somber.
12:50That wasn't somber.
12:52All right, Emilio.
12:53But I'm confident that this is gonna be a showstopper.
12:57I'm delighted to hear that.
12:59Great.
13:00Okay.
13:01Thanks, Emilio.
13:02Trust me, I got this.
13:04Hi, Tim.
13:06I felt a little left out when I got back to the workroom and realized everybody kinda went
13:10into black and white and red and yellow.
13:12If you left out, you'll stand out.
13:13Well, yeah, but my concern is pumping up the volume.
13:19I am not exactly sure about my sketch because it wasn't too long ago that you said pump up
13:24the volume.
13:25But I know before I can build the dress, I gotta have a good foundation.
13:28You too.
13:29So I'm just prepping everything and then I'll start working, putting the pieces all together.
13:36Let your visceral rule, if it doesn't feel right, it's not right.
13:40Well, Tim, I'm ready.
13:42If you feel like you're forcing things, then they're probably contrivances and they're not
13:46right.
13:47All right.
13:48Go, go, go.
13:49I'm going to go get me a dictionary just as sure as I get back to Georgia.
13:54Thank you for everything, Tim.
13:56Thank you, Anthony.
13:58Hi.
13:59Hi.
14:00How are you, Mila?
14:01Good.
14:02I am going with a coat and this is the beginning of it with this interesting fabric.
14:08And I like that it's shiny.
14:09I do too.
14:10Because I think it's going to make a presence.
14:11I like the coating.
14:12It makes it modern too.
14:13Exactly.
14:14It kind of makes it more me, I think.
14:16I'm going to do these ivory panels down the front.
14:20You should ditch this ivory.
14:22This, for me, just isn't cutting it.
14:25I'm being blunt because it's our last challenge.
14:27I know.
14:28Well, no, I appreciate it.
14:29The other part is that I'm using the large stripe in the back.
14:33I'm thinking chevron and pleated.
14:35I think if you're doing that, use it in the front as well in some manner.
14:39Oh, yeah.
14:40That could be kind of fun.
14:41It could be.
14:42Okay.
14:43Okay, Tim.
14:45Thank you, Mila.
14:46Thanks a lot.
14:47Mr. J, talk to me.
14:48I wanted to combine the ringleader with the clowns.
14:51I like how exaggerated they look.
14:53This is kind of like the oversized pant that I'm working on.
14:56It's tweed, and then I'm using, like, leather trims to trim them.
15:02So what's with the jacket?
15:04It's really detailed.
15:06It has a strong color point of view, which is the red, the gold, and the black.
15:12It's like, I want this to look badass.
15:13Okay.
15:14Yeah.
15:15Badass.
15:16Good.
15:17Bad bitch.
15:18Is there a good bitch?
15:20I'm a good bitch.
15:21On that note, thank you, Jay.
15:25Thank you, Tim.
15:26Designers, it looks like we're going to have five big wow moments on that runway.
15:31And what's more exciting than that?
15:32Yes.
15:33All right.
15:34So work hard.
15:35You have until midnight tonight, and I will see you tomorrow.
15:37Okay?
15:38Thank you, Tim.
15:39Have a good night.
15:40See you tomorrow.
15:42Here we go, yo.
15:44I still have a lot to do.
15:45This is my last chance to wow the judges, so it's got to be pretty special.
15:51This is the last one they see.
15:53You better bring the heat.
15:55That made my whole dress gonna take a different shape.
15:57Are you changing midstream?
15:59The foundation is staying the same.
16:01Okay.
16:02This is so weird, like, any direction I go in, I'm wrong.
16:05It's not that I can't crank this dress out.
16:07It's just that I'm just, like, a prisoner in my mind, almost.
16:11I'm scared I might be setting myself up for failure.
16:14Get your skirt to where you want it, and then the bottoms will come to you.
16:17Just when you think you have enough time.
16:19Let's sew!
16:33Woo!
16:34First thing I do is alter my body.
16:39I went to sleep thinking about my design, and I woke up thinking about my design.
16:44And the only thing I think in my mind is how to make it better.
16:47This garment means so much to me that words cannot express.
16:51The fact that I'm still sitting here working on a garment is just like, oh, oh.
16:57Not only we get to present our last pieces, but we get to see our families!
17:01Yes.
17:02Soon!
17:03I know.
17:05A lot of people believe in me.
17:08My friends, family, and for some reason, I've never really pushed myself.
17:13Now that I'm realizing what I can do, I want it to be dramatic.
17:18I want it to look like it's going to go on a high-end runway show.
17:23Yeah.
17:24I'm so excited.
17:25I'm going to finish this jacket tonight for you.
17:26It looks really cool in the back.
17:27I'm so happy it's standing up straight.
17:28Mila's outfit, I like it, but I'm on the fence.
17:32I'm not so crazy about the shiny, shiny.
17:33The jacket's shiny, the pants are shiny.
17:34That's like putting a whole lot of bling and bam!
17:35All in one thing.
17:36Once I had the dress on Lorena, we realized that it did need a little extra pop of color.
17:39Fortunately, I had this stripe that was perfect for it.
17:41Oh, I think it's beautiful.
17:42I see a lot of costumes in the room.
17:43I don't think that I have a costume.
17:44I think that I have a beautiful gown that is functional and that is editorial from different
17:48angles.
17:49I'm seeing that some brand first.
17:50I love it.
17:51Okay, I'm happy.
17:52Tomorrow's the last one.
17:53Thank you, guys.
17:54Bye.
17:55Bye.
17:56Bye.
17:57Bye.
17:58Bye.
17:59Bye.
18:00Bye.
18:01Bye.
18:02Bye.
18:03Bye.
18:04Bye.
18:05Bye.
18:06Bye.
18:07Bye.
18:08Bye.
18:09Bye.
18:10Bye.
18:11Bye.
18:12Bye.
18:13Bye.
18:14Bye.
18:15Bye.
18:16Bye.
18:17Bye.
18:18Bye.
18:19Bye.
18:20Later.
18:21Well, that's that.
18:22Well, there you have it.
18:24Oh, you're making a Michael Jackson coat.
18:26I was a little bit scared when I heard that comment.
18:30I'm not sure if they're being sarcastic or they're just being funny, but, you know, I
18:35question myself.
18:36They'll have buttons.
18:37It's looking a little bit Michael Jackson.
18:39It's not Michael Jackson.
18:41I'm just not a big fan of Jay's style.
18:43Mmm.
18:46Coming up on Project Runway.
18:48I'm expecting, like, the grand poobah of runway shows.
18:52So, let's get it on.
18:53Let's bring the show on.
18:54Let's bring the show on.
19:04This morning, I feel a little nostalgic and emotional about that this is the last runway
19:11show.
19:12I'm nervous as hell, but I'm also relieved.
19:16I feel like I'm gonna be okay.
19:19I feel like I'm gonna go to fashion week.
19:25Time to go, right?
19:26I know I have a lot to do, but I'm focused.
19:29I have my list in my head of what has to happen and at what time.
19:34And I need to just get in there and get to work.
19:38Leave it spore and return and spore.
19:51This is the only day in this competition that I have butterflies.
19:57I feel nervous.
19:58This is the point.
19:59The make it or break it point.
20:00And to go all the way through, never have a bad critique from Tim, to get to the last
20:04one and then just bomb out, just shoot me.
20:11When I'm done with this dress, I want the judges to say, wow, this is the dress of the season.
20:19I want them to see the craftsmanship, the artistry, the whimsy, the sexiness.
20:26I'm putting everything that I am about into this one dress.
20:34Morning, Tim.
20:35Good morning, everyone.
20:36Good morning.
20:37This is a very big day for all of us and especially for you.
20:42Your models are here.
20:43All right.
20:44I'm going to be sending them in.
20:45You know the drill.
20:46You have an hour to send them to the Garnier Hair Salon in the L'Oreal Paris Makeup Room.
20:50Use the bluefly.com wall very thoughtfully, very strategically.
20:54It's the whole look, okay?
20:56So I will see you a little later.
20:59I'm going to send in your models.
21:01Okay.
21:02Everyone make it work.
21:07Putting the dress on Monique prior to going to makeup has proven to be an oh my God moment.
21:15The wave is extremely too big.
21:19So I'm having to completely alter that aspect of the dress.
21:23I don't know.
21:24Once again, it's just another make it work moment.
21:27That's okay.
21:28I can get it done.
21:29I really feel at this point it should be Anthony and Jay that do not move forward.
21:35And I say that because Anthony has been very inconsistent.
21:41And Jay, there's kind of a lot of fashion knowledge and textile knowledge that he doesn't know.
21:48I don't really know that he's ready to have a collection.
21:51Mila, I've seen her work.
21:53And I'm not sure if she's going to be able to show at Bryant Park with an amazing collection.
21:58This should be about the guys.
22:00We all know how to put a dramatic show.
22:03And I think I'm saying this because I dislike her as a person.
22:07But I don't think she has that.
22:09Okay.
22:10Awesome.
22:11Let's whip them off and we'll go down there.
22:12Her hair should be a lot softer, modern, edgier.
22:15I want to bring a rock and roll edge to it.
22:18I want her hair longer.
22:20How long do you want it to be?
22:23I'm hoping that her eyes will be powerful.
22:28Really dark.
22:29No colors.
22:30She's smoldering.
22:35Woohoo!
22:36Lovely.
22:37Wow.
22:38You like?
22:39This is it.
22:40This is what we've all been working for.
22:42Everyone is excited.
22:43We all know it's the last one.
22:45And everyone wants to go to Bryant Park.
22:48So the energy is palpable.
22:50You can just feel it.
22:51It's amazing.
22:55Designers, in ten minutes, you and your models and I are going down to the runway.
22:58Okay?
22:59Yes!
23:00Yay!
23:01I'll be back in ten minutes.
23:03Woohoo!
23:04I gotta tell you, I'm flipping out inside.
23:06I'm expecting, like, the grand poobah of runway shows.
23:10So, let's get it on.
23:11Let's bring the show on.
23:13I want so badly to be able to create a collection that doesn't involve a challenge.
23:20You know, it doesn't involve parameters.
23:22It doesn't involve restrictions.
23:24Of course I'm going to feel disappointed if I don't make it through to Fashion Week.
23:29Always cheat to the judges.
23:31Designers and models, let's do it!
23:33Come on, follow me!
23:35When I came into the competition, I didn't come to beat Seth Aaron, or to beat Mila, or
23:41to beat Jay, or to beat Anthony.
23:43I came to win for myself.
23:46I just want to be number one.
23:47Thank you!
23:48Coming up on Project Runway.
23:50It's $300 worth of polyester.
23:53We have crazy crotch.
23:55You know, you have to know what you're working with.
23:57Damn, lesson learned.
24:05Welcome to the runway.
24:07We started this competition with 16 designers.
24:11And now it's down to just you.
24:14As you know, in fashion, one day you're in, and the next day, you're out.
24:19There are five of you here, but only three of you will go to Fashion Week.
24:24That means two of you will be out.
24:28For this final challenge, we asked you to create a high-end runway look inspired by the circus.
24:34I look forward to seeing what you've done.
24:37Okay, let's meet the judges.
24:39First, we have top American designer, Michael Kors.
24:42Hey, guys.
24:43Hi, Michael.
24:44Fashion director for Marie Claire Magazine, Nina Garcia.
24:46Hi, everyone.
24:48And fashion designer, Cynthia Rawley.
24:53We will score your designs as they come down the runway.
24:56Let's start the show.
24:58This garment, it shows Jay Nicolos Sario as a fashion designer.
25:05It's tight, but at the same time, there's volume and texture and color.
25:10It's dramatic.
25:11And I believe that this look will take me to Fashion Week.
25:16It's totally Mila, and I think that it fulfilled the challenge really well.
25:25I totally see the circus vibe in it, but I also think that this is an amazing runway look.
25:30It's dynamic.
25:31It's got movement.
25:32I felt like it was imperative that my point of view be very strong in this final look.
25:37I love the dress on Monique.
25:42I just love how beautiful she looks today.
25:44I love the movement of the gown.
25:46And I think that she is one of the few people on the runway who still looks like a lady.
25:51This dress explores the fantasy aspect of who I am as a designer.
26:00The dress says everything that I hope to represent as a designer.
26:04It's dramatic without being costuming.
26:07It's impeccably made.
26:10It fits like a glove.
26:12Lorena looks beautiful and confident.
26:15I don't think anyone even came close to touching this dress.
26:23It fully expressed my point of view.
26:26At this point, I can't change anything.
26:29You know, there's no excuses.
26:31This is what I came up with.
26:34I don't want to bore anybody.
26:36I want to make a statement.
26:40We have scored your designs.
26:42Three of you will go to Fashion Week and two of you will be out.
26:47Let's bring out your models.
26:52Seth Aaron, tell us about your look.
26:54I designed truly off of motion with this.
26:56I was so overwhelmed and so happy with the circus.
26:58I mean, it's me.
26:59It's what I thought.
27:00I didn't think too hard.
27:01I just went with it.
27:02I liked it.
27:03I like the sense of drama.
27:04And I like the sense of fantasy about this.
27:07But I do think it's a bit costume-like.
27:09I like all the way that you use wire or whatever is in there to sort of defy gravity, which is what the circus is all about.
27:30I think it's interesting.
27:31Definitely interesting.
27:32I think the pants, we have crazy crotch.
27:36I think they might fit you better.
27:39But perhaps a gentleman might have something to fill the trouser out.
27:42But I think the jacket's very strong and I appreciate that.
27:46Anthony, tell us about your look.
27:48I didn't want to do anything that looked too costuming.
27:51However, I did want to push the envelope in some areas.
27:54I was a little disappointed that my ruffle detailing inside of the blue up under the arm, you couldn't see it on the runway.
28:01I don't mind it from the waist up.
28:04But I do think from the waist down, it is a complete snooze.
28:09And I just think it's poorly made.
28:11What on earth really is that fabric?
28:13That's the first thing you have to start with when you're designing anything, is know your fabrics and know what's going to work and what isn't going to work.
28:22Let me see that.
28:23It's crepe de chine.
28:25Oh, it's poly.
28:27No, hello.
28:28What is it, polyester?
28:29It is.
28:30It's poly crepe de chine.
28:31But you have to know what the fabrics are like.
28:34Well, I mean, through the whole competition I've only used silks, but this is just, you know.
28:38It's $300 worth of polyester?
28:40She's like a big blue condom.
28:42You know, you have to know what you're working with.
28:44It's just a lesson learned.
28:46Damn, lesson learned.
28:48Jay, tell us about your look.
28:50I've created a jacket, military inspired, really tight fitting, and then paired it back to a pair of really exaggerated pants.
28:57And, um, just kind of like created this bold, strong, you know, look that I've always liked to do.
29:04Does the jacket come off?
29:05Yes.
29:06Can we just have it off for a second?
29:07Because if you just look at it like that, she would walk down the street.
29:10You would not think twice about it.
29:12It's really just the jacket, because the pants like this, or that top.
29:17No, they're nice pieces.
29:18They're very nice.
29:19It is very beautifully made.
29:21And those pants are fantastic, too.
29:24Mila, tell us about your look.
29:25The Master of Ceremonies jacket had a lot of this sort of scrolling embroidery on it.
29:31And I wanted to pick that up somehow, so maybe they can see more on the back, actually.
29:37It's like a laminated wool herringbone.
29:40I think that it's dramatic, it's impactful, but it's not a costume.
29:45And it's very Mila.
29:46It's very Mila.
29:47There is something here that is not completely convincing me.
29:52I'm not crazy about this.
29:55Well, I hate that color pink.
29:57I'm just kidding, because I'm wearing everything.
30:00I could do with a little bit less on the collar, and maybe something not being a shine.
30:08But in general, I like it.
30:11Emilio, tell us about your look.
30:13The entire gown is one piece of fabric that's five yards long.
30:18And then I added the polka dots to add a little bit of whimsy.
30:22Great job.
30:23I think it's absolutely stunning.
30:25I love this.
30:26I think it's so genius.
30:30It's my favorite garment of the season.
30:32Oh.
30:33Thank you very much.
30:35You want your outfit to speak to a woman and to be appealing.
30:41And I think this manages to do that.
30:43Thank you very much.
30:44Seth Aaron, why do you deserve to go to Fashion Week?
30:47I'm well-rounded in all areas.
30:49I can tailor, and I can design, and I believe in what I do.
30:53What other two designers deserve to go with you to Fashion Week?
30:56Oh.
30:57Let me owe you on, Jay.
31:03Jay, why do you deserve to go to Fashion Week?
31:08For me to be able to get this far and compete against the best of the best,
31:13that already says something, that I can do this.
31:15I could create an amazing collection for Fashion Week.
31:18Who else do you think should go to Fashion Week with you?
31:21I think Seth Aaron has a strong point of view.
31:24I would love to compete against him.
31:26And I want to share this experience with Anthony.
31:38Mila, why do you deserve to go to Fashion Week?
31:41I feel that I am a strong, thoughtful designer.
31:47It feels like the right time for me.
31:49And what two designers do you think should go with you?
31:53Based on their consistency and their points of view,
31:56I would say Emilio and Seth Aaron.
32:00Emilio, why do you deserve to go to Fashion Week?
32:03Well, I think I've shown in this competition
32:05that I have a very strong point of view,
32:08teamed with an amazing set of technical skills,
32:12that I can create not only a functional line,
32:15but something that would inspire women to want to wear my clothing.
32:20If I had to choose two designers that I would go to Fashion Week,
32:24I think I would choose the strongest designers,
32:26because I like to compete with the best.
32:28I think Seth Aaron shows an amazing sense of style.
32:34And I think Mila had the very direct point of view
32:39that combined the three of us together,
32:41it could be a very powerful show.
32:44Anthony?
32:45I can make beautiful clothes, and I have made beautiful clothes.
32:48I think that in order for me to be my best
32:51and represent as I should at Fashion Week,
32:53I need to get to my space and find my center
32:57and trust my own viscera.
32:59And if I had to select two individuals
33:02who I want to share this experience with,
33:05it would have to be Emilio and Jay.
33:08We've heard what you had to say.
33:10We're going to have a long chat,
33:12and then I'm going to call you back.
33:14You can leave the runway.
33:20Let's talk about Emilio.
33:22This was really one of the most beautiful outfits
33:28that he has done.
33:29There was nothing that looked like he struggled at all.
33:33And he's sophisticated.
33:34He's really very sophisticated.
33:39Seth Aaron's look was not as sophisticated as Emilio's.
33:42Definitely not.
33:43But it shows Seth Aaron,
33:47and it shows that he's innovative.
33:50Mm-hmm.
33:51It shows that he thinks bigger instead of safe.
33:56I can only imagine what he would do at Fashion Week.
33:59It would be exciting to see.
34:01Yeah, absolutely.
34:02I'm curious.
34:03I am curious.
34:04I am curious.
34:07All right, let's talk about Anthony.
34:09You have to walk into that fabric store where you have the world at your fingertips.
34:15You pick a fabric and you don't even know what it is and how to handle it.
34:20That's number one.
34:21What's the content?
34:22What is this?
34:23Technically, he doesn't have the skills that some of the other designers have.
34:26I think he has some great ideas.
34:27I think he's done some beautiful things in the past.
34:29He's got talent.
34:33Let's talk about Mila.
34:36I think her clothes, you know, often to me, they seem flat.
34:39They seem one dimensional.
34:41I will say that today the jacket did have some dimension.
34:46I did like some of the lines on it.
34:48It just didn't seem relevant in any way.
34:51I don't know.
34:52But don't you think, honestly, though, the clothes are always made beautifully.
34:59All right, let's talk about Jay.
35:00I do think he makes good clothes and clothes that feel very modern and very now.
35:06But he's never really 100% right, though.
35:09Jay, I know we're going to get a taste level.
35:12I just haven't figured out who he is as a designer.
35:19Today was tough, but did we make our decision?
35:22Yeah, I'm ready.
35:24Okay, let's bring them back out.
35:26We've made our decision, and now we will reveal who will go to Fashion Week.
35:40We've made our decision, and now we will reveal who will go to Fashion Week.
35:57Emilio, your dress was unanimously our favorite.
36:02Thank you very much.
36:04It was in a league of its own.
36:07Congratulations.
36:08You're in. You're going to Bryant Park.
36:11You can leave the runway, Emilio.
36:14I'm very pleased and humbled, but the final destination is winning and being victorious.
36:21So, yes, I'm happy that I'm going to Bryant Park, but I'll be even happier when I win Project Runway.
36:27We blew it out the park. Home run. Home freaking run.
36:32Seth Aaron, you've shown us time and time again how creative you are, and your tailoring is consistently fantastic.
36:43Seth Aaron, congratulations. You're in. You're going to Fashion Week.
36:49I'm good.
36:57You can leave the runway.
36:59You know, I don't have to battle anymore.
37:01I have a spot, and it has my name on it, and give me my money, send me home, and I'm going to come back and blow the socks off New York City.
37:10Woo!
37:11Oh, my God, I hate you.
37:13Freak.
37:14You're such a freak.
37:16Anthony, you won some of the biggest challenges this season, and you've grown tremendously.
37:23Your effort today fell short, and we think you still need to mature as a designer.
37:33Anthony, you're out.
37:38Thank you for everything.
37:53Mila, you've impressed us throughout this competition. We applaud that you pushed yourself in this challenge and stepped outside of your comfort zone while staying true to your point of view.
38:05Your look was made well. However, it was disappointing. This fell short of your talent.
38:12Jay, you made clothes beautifully, and today was no exception. Your pants were impeccable, but overall the look was somewhat expected.
38:26You played it safe on a challenge when you were supposed to do anything but.
38:33Mila, you're in.
38:39Oh, my God.
38:41Jay.
38:42You're also in.
38:55We have some concerns about both of you, but we also know both of you have the potential to wow us.
39:06Now there's the big but.
39:08Both of you are going to design collections, but only one of you will show at Fashion Week.
39:13It is going to be up to you to take this opportunity and run with it. Good luck.
39:19You both can leave the runway.
39:22Jay and I both have really strong points of view, I think, that come across in what we do.
39:26I just have to make sure mine's better.
39:28Tiebreaker.
39:29That means we both make collections and it's like a shootout.
39:34Mila and I have two different points of view, and I just want to show my best.
39:39I just want to prove to the whole entire world that I'm worthy enough.
39:43Oh, my God.
39:44I was feeling sad for Anthony, but in fact, this is happy.
39:49Yes.
39:50Yeah.
39:51I feel bad for me.
39:52No.
39:53You know?
39:54No, no, no.
39:55Cover of Marie Claire, Jessica Alba.
39:57I know.
39:58It's fantastic.
39:59Congratulations.
40:00What?
40:01Really.
40:02But I do have to send you to the work room to clean up your space.
40:06You're used to this.
40:10You know what to do.
40:11Isn't that the news?
40:12There's just more to clean up.
40:14Thank you, Tim.
40:15We love you.
40:16Be good.
40:17Y'all be good.
40:18I will see you later.
40:20See you later.
40:21Don't disappoint me.
40:24That's my line.
40:27My time has come.
40:29My work here is done, and I think that it speaks volumes for what will happen for me in
40:34the future.
40:35I don't think you could ever think that you've seen the last of me.
40:39Not in a million years.
40:41Leave me alone.
40:43If you 있, be sleepy.
40:44It's me.
40:45You may miss me, especially too.
40:46I don't know how to take a whole thing away.
40:47Close to the brewery.
40:48Hi, everyone.
40:49What are you doing?
40:50The place?
40:51I love you all.
40:52As you're doing 80 years old.
40:53Maybe in two hours of me.
40:54I 한 over the noche.
40:55Даже a
40:56one years old.
40:57Maybe in ten minutes.
40:58Where in the你
41:09I won't go home.
