00:05So here it is Shanahan earlier today from the Niners facility

00:30Long-term concern for it. Um, I don't want to say there's long-term concern, you know, we got the MRI on Monday

00:36We thought you just needed some rest and really weren't concerned about him not being good this week. But when he started up Thursday

00:42Just surprised him surprised us how it felt

00:45so we had to shut him down and

00:47So I've written a little to think of it, you know, the MRI doesn't look like that

00:50So it should be alright, but on the way it responded this week. It's really up in the air for next week

00:55So we'll have to see on Monday

00:58Touchdown run, he doesn't know in particular. I don't think so, but he can't remember play that specifically happened on

01:34it's done a really good job since he's been here been here two years now and

01:42One of the positives about Brandon that the offense doesn't change very much with him in there that

01:48He's like pretty in a lot of ways that you don't really skip a beat

01:53Yeah, you know there's not a big game plan adjustment, you know

01:56It wasn't this is something that we didn't think would happen early in the week

01:58So we were fully preparing for Brock to go and I'm getting a little surprised about this on yesterday

02:04Nothing has to change. So that's a good deal for us

02:12I mean the situation, you know, obviously doesn't look great. It's the NFL

02:35I think the guys were a little surprised with Brock yesterday, but we address all that today and

02:39We're gonna have 40 guys 48 guys in uniform and I know our guys believe in themself

02:43I believe in them and we're missing two good players. Definitely, but we got a lot of good players out there. So

02:49By no means you not have a chance to win

02:51So we're gonna go fight our tails off and expect this to be a real good game

02:57Yeah, I mean just taking three four weeks off, you know, it's not like

03:01Dealing with all that stuff. He's getting workouts in or anything like that

03:04So we were just happy to get him back in the building this week

03:06We don't want to put any pressure on him by any means to get ready to play

03:10He just wanted to get back into the field. He had two and a half good days of practice

03:14I say half just because of what today's like

03:17But hopefully he'll be good to go next week

03:20Showed progress or is it still right at the kickoff? That's the right to kick off

03:24What do three quarterbacks a couple years ago?

03:26It's still made the NFC championship give the team hope knowing that you can do this kind of adversity before

03:33I mean, it's good to have that story and stuff

03:34But um, I think my they have hope is because they're with Brandon every single day

03:38So, I mean, I know outside of here people I'm seeing a lot of Brandon because he hasn't had to go in yet

03:44But this is Brandon's second year. They see him on scout team all the time and

03:47You know, obviously guys won't brock up but guys are excited to see Brandon play

03:53Sort of in the

03:55Coaching tree so to speak with Sean and with Laura and Zack Taylor who had been with Sean

04:00Did he get here? Did he pick things up quickly when soon as he got here?

04:04Um, I mean he picked things up just being a vet and stuff. I'd say the coaching trees a little overrated. I mean just

04:11You know, it's just it branches off for all from some same places, but

04:15He looks at things where he's been things are all subtly different

04:18But he's got a lot of experience been around a while and he's been comfortable. We've been comfortable with him since his first day here

04:25How did Travis Ward get through practice this week? And just where's he at?

04:29I thought he did a real good job getting through the week, you know

04:32We threw him out. He got a ease in there and doing all the scout team stuff

04:35You know, I thought he really gave us good looks all week got his body feeling, you know, just more confident each day

04:40I'm just talking to him. I think he's in a good spot and we all know he's grieving a lot and

04:46You know that really probably never thought we know that never fully stops

04:50but I think it has been somewhat therapeutic for him to get out on the football field and things like that and

04:55Be able to focus a little bit on his craft for just a little bit and but he's always going through that and it's nice

05:01So we can be here for him as much as we can with him back in the building

05:04Disappointed as expect to be when he wasn't the backup

05:07How has he been as the third guy all year running the scout team doing what you asked and he's been awesome

05:12I mean, it's um, you know, they split the scout team reps, you know, so they both get equal reps over there throughout the year and

05:19Really loved having him in the room. He's been great on the field to

05:23Jordan love you. What do you like about him? What's unique about him? I'm just how big of a threat he is

05:28I mean, he's a he's a thrower. He can be there's not a throw he can't make I love his mindset

05:33how aggressive he is and he's always trying to enjoy he's always going for the big plays and

05:37He's got the skill set with his feet to that when things aren't there

05:40he can make a lot of plays big tall guy very athletic and

05:44We know how good he's been this these two years and he's gonna be good for a long time

05:52No, he'll come with us he'll come with us

06:01Of that Nick Bosa stays home Brock Purdy goes on the road more helpful to have Brock there to sit on the sideline and like

06:17I do think there's added value in it Nick could show up to the winning team on field interview

06:33Brock Purdy being there to help Brandon Allen. I thought this was maybe the most interesting thing Brandon Allen said today

06:40Listening to him talk now. He's been in the league much longer than Brock Purdy

06:44Listening to him talk about what he's learned from Brock in terms of getting ready for a football game

06:52Yeah, no, he's unbelievable the way he prepares

06:54And you kind of have to to be able to execute this offense

06:58well, there's a lot of motions a lot of shifts a lot of things that go into it and

07:01and to be on top of all that and

07:04You know, you've seen him on the road doing all that with silent cadence and all that

07:07So there's a lot that goes into it and his preparation

07:10Kind of was I when I first got here last year watching him do it

07:13I was like, okay

07:13This is this is kind of how you have to study here because you can go other places and offenses aren't as you know

07:18Aren't as complex aren't as difficult so you can still study but you know, you're looking at the same things with the week but

07:24In this offense, you know, we really really do a good job moving guys around and getting guys open

07:29So there's a lot of studying that goes into it. So watching him

07:32Preparing and then the way he does I've definitely tried to model my preparation after him

07:36I mean, can we grab that for the crowd? That's like will you please let Brock?

07:42You know, will you give it will you put more on his plate?

07:45Listen to Brandon talk Brock might have and I've heard this from receivers before too

07:50Kyle Shanahan's offense might be asking the most of his players of any offense in the league and Kyle's already said that where he puts

07:57A lot on Brock and so everyone on the why won't you let him audible train?

08:02And you know who you are who says that you're an idiot. It's not about audibles

08:06It's about everything that Brandon just said the shifting the motions the movement the traffic coppery that has to go on
