00:00I'm going to sneak in another Big Ten game that is not ranked,
00:05but it is still important, and that is Oregon, Illinois.
00:10And Dan Lanning, sir, you cost me money,
00:15and you nearly cost your team this season.
00:19I understand that Dylan Rayola was miserable against UCLA.
00:25I believe that there were EPA or success rate.
00:31It was like one of the worst performances we've seen
00:34from a Power Four quarterback ever.
00:37It was awful. I get that. I do.
00:41Starting Brock Thomas over him seemed ridiculous.
00:46I last week laid the six and a half with Oregon.
00:51I thought this was a great spot for Rayola to bounce back
00:54against his former team.
00:55I was right. Here was the problem.
00:58Dan Lanning wasted not a quarter, not a half,
01:07three full quarters with Brock Thomas.
01:13The score was 14-6.
01:2014-6 when Dylan Rayola checked in and Oregon scored on both Rayola drives.
01:29Got the two-point conversion, by the way, to give themselves breathing room.
01:35And he, by the way, it's not that Rayola was incredible,
01:39but compared to Brock Thomas, Heisman Trophy-level contender.
01:45So now Rayola's got the job.
01:47Give me Illinois plus 10.
01:49Give me Illinois plus 10.
01:50Last week was Rayola's week.
01:51This week is not his week here, Dave.
01:53Not on the road.
01:53Not laying double digits.
01:54No way, no how.
01:56The weird part is people in the betting community thought it was great
01:59that Brock Thomas was playing, and I'm like, no, it's not.
02:01And, like, what are we doing?
02:03Why do you like Brock Thomas?
02:04Like, Rayola's there for a reason.
02:06I agree that they almost cost themselves the season.
02:09Until they figure out what they're doing, I'm not touching Oregon.
02:11I'm just not.
02:13I wish I, again, I should have, I can't believe that.
02:17Again, it's one thing to, like, start Thomas.
02:18He couldn't have been worse.
02:20Nah, he'll figure it out.
02:21He didn't figure it out.
